Very responsive, answered all questions, friendly phone calls and good level of updates. Noticed how good they were when other solicitors were very slow / poor.

Only minor issue which was frustrating was several members of the team would email but you were told to “Please reply directly to [insert partner email]” - they wouldn’t copy the person in, so each time you had to reply and add the partners email. Feels like an annoyance that is saved if the sender CC’d them in originally

We did a council right to buy and from the beginning until the end when it was completed Burton & Co was with us all the way they kept us informed in every matter.
We used this solicitor firm as its office was local to our village.
We would definitely recommend them to family and friends.

I put my faith into the family law solicitor and they didnt fight my case enough and allowed the local authority to do what they wanted , even though it was breaching discrimination, human rights , perjury and so forth . None of this is remotely legal ; and children are getting taken by the local authority too easily . I went through traumatic court hearings and was left to deal with what can be done next . I may as well have dealt with the court myself . I’m absolutely disgusted this is being allowed in the family court .

James was extremely helpful and provided a friendly and efficient service. Would recommend for any legal support no matter how small or large (in our case small).

I wish I had never heard of Burton & Co! More than five years since they took on the task of administering my late husband's estate and I am still awaiting a resolution.
Initially, I was very favourably impressed with their courtesy, helpfulness and kindness but, gradually, this all fell by the wayside and they stopped responding to phone messages and emails.
In the light of the many favourable reviews here, perhaps I have just been unlucky but I can only speak from my one experience. In the context of Wills & Probate, my advice would be to Avoid, Avoid, Avoid this company.
I shall certainly be placing future legal business elsewhere.
