Mike, Tristan and team are always happy to help and very informative advice is given about their products when needed. Delivery drivers are very prompt and friendly. We have never had any problems and come to them first for anything we need with our projects as it’s such a smooth and easy ordering process. We highly recommend BSL.

I have used BSL since they opened at Winnards Perch (Must be 15/20 years ago)! Nothing is too much trouble for Mike and his team. All deliveries are always done on day you request.
If they haven't got in stock, will always try and get!

As a local building and groundworks company we use BSL on a daily basis, we find there prices to be extremely competitive as opposed to other suppliers for the same products. We find the sales team to be extremely helpful with competitive prices and if you require a delivery ASAP they will always do they're best to help. We find the collection service good with the yard men being very willing, friendly and helpful. I would certainly recommend BSL to anybody.

Just completed having our kitchen extended and additional bathroom added. BSL assisted me in setting up an account for the duration of the building and I was extremely impressed with the regular and timely delivery of goods ordered, always accurate regarding quantity and quality of orders with ease and accuracy of invoicing. Also very helpful when we returned excess materials which were then credited to my account. Great experience and highly recommended.

As the winter gets colder and heating bills mount up decided to add extra insulation to the loft. After a disaster trying to buy from B&Q I turned to BSL, they were no more expensive and when I discovered 7 rolls wouldn’t fit into my car that wasn’t a problem, I returned the next day and the staff recognised me straight away.
It was my first visit to BSL and definitely not my last.

Fantastic service from Mike and boy's, especially a chap called Gary who may not look the brightest but to my surprise had a good general knowledge of various building products 👍

Brought a sheet of ply and 20 lengths of tongue and groove. First time customer at Build Supplies and I know there's a virus outbreak but jees. I saw the wood had some discolouration from damp and mold but thought oh well there will be enough to complete my job but as I started to cut it down to length the discard pile started getting bigger than the keep pile. I phoned them up and dared to say their timber was crap and OMG don't ever insult their products. Needless to say if you dare to say your not happy you get a WW3 level onslaught and hung up on. Anyway if your unlucky like me and have no other choice but to buy from here you need to buy twice as much as you need and make sure you can dispose of the waste... Also the sheet of ply was dog eared and full of more holes than Swiss cheese and the TnG supplied was 8mm instead of the 9 I requested so ended up with mismatched wood half way through the project. AVOID THEM IF YOU CAN

Eventually offered to refund as long as I never darkened their door way again but project timeline dictated I try and make do with this terrible wood.

EDIT (as there's no ability to reply to a reply.) The comment from build supplies below is a load of rubbish. see my reviews WITH PHOTOS on facebook or google for the quality of wood i received. what they should have done was a partial refund for all the waste in my wood. instead they basically blackmailed me knowing they were the only supplier in miles with any stock and gave me the only option of a refund if i bring it ALL back and never be a customer again. they offered this knowing damn well when a project needs to be finished having bad wood is better than no wood. a partial refund for the waste was all that was required to maintain your integrity.
