Not cheap but fit perfectly
Not cheap but fit perfectly, look amazing and cut the glare of the sun. Motors are silent and easy to use with the remote. Love that they can be operated separately. Fitting was quick with no mess. Advisor listened to what we wanted and offered a few options and explained the differences and benefits. Would recommend.

We love our new blinds
We are really pleased with our vertical blinds. The fitter was very efficient & showed us how to operate the blinds, which fit in well with the decor of our kitchen.

Not the service we expected
We were disappointed that the blind vanes were faulty. Maybe they were not checked before being supplied to us? We were told that the replacements would take 2-3 weeks and this was not a problem, however, we had to chase BB for them only to find you had them all the time and did not inform us. I collected the original blind as I intended fitting it myself but was disappointed when you asked me to collect the replacements. It was only when I refused that you offered to deliver them. When you came to measure my window for the blind, I explained that I would fit it myself and did not want to fit the safely retaining wall clip. I was not told that the chain cord would be so short that my wife could not reach to operate it and I also found it very awkward to use. The cord and chain were replaced with longer ones when your fitter brought the replacement. All was OK and we are now happy but we had to press to get satisfaction. Not something that we expected from Broadview Blinds.

Thank you for your honest review we appreciate it. If communciations were not quite as expected we apologise and feedback all comments into our teams so we can always strive to do better. Although you are now satisfied we must also point out that our industry is restricted with the Child Safety Regulations Act on chain lengths and supplying chain cleats which is statutory. The rules means that cord operated blinds can have a shorter than desired control chain designed to protect infants but sometimes these are harder to reach.

Great experience. Lovely replacements awning
Had been searching for a new awning on out old but working mechanism. These guys visited to price and brought samples. Ordered and delivered in timescales and fitters great on the day. We also had arm tightened as it was sagging. Really happy.

Your warranty is useless when it inevitably breaks
We bought a 7.5m x 3.5m Brustor blind, installed in March 2023. Paid extra for anemometer and automatic closing if the wind got too high, total cost £6,271. In August 2024 staff reported a loud bang, and discovered the blind was broken. Had to pay £150 for Broadview even to pass an opinion on the warranty claim, then they told us it was damaged by rain and therefore not covered. That was the first time they said that rain could destroy it - they had previously said not to leave it retracted when wet to avoid mould.
All three folding arms had snapped, and they quoted us £2,924.40 to repair it. I very much feel like I am being milked like a cash cow, and resent it. I have decided not to consider Broadview Blinds for the next installation, and I cannot in conscience recommend them.

Dear Mr Sanders. Our team have investigated your case. We value our reviews and processes and fair reviews and offer a high level of service and product. Our Excellent status reflects this. It seems your sun awning which is shower proof has been left out in very heavy rainfall beyond the capabilities of the system. The mass of water across the square metre area of your awning ( 1 kg = 1 litre) you can realise the forces when an awning is left out in conditions it is not designed for.
We appreciate this is accidental and weather can destroy all manor of items outside.
If you would like to discuss this further please feel free to contact our customer services team they are on hand to advise you in repairs.

We had 3 large windows measured by…
We had 3 large windows measured by William and though they were slightly different sizes expected the blinds to be balanced with each other in their design. They were not and now William says there is nothing they can do. Make sure you get a design of what work is to be done, we thoughly regret not getting one.

Thank you for your review. We feel we do need to clarify that your windows are not “slightly” different, the drops actually differ approximately 30mm. The difference in alignment is due to the window heights being different and the shutter slats cannot align in this case. This is common where it is more noticeable on the same room of varying window heights. We understand you have been in touch and discussed this and do hope you feel this is not a fault or product or installation.

Wrong blinds for two Velux windows.
Blinds for two Velux windows came and were wrong. A roller blind came and was not square to the window sill. It was taken away nearly a month ago and not seen since despite emails sent asking for it back before Christmas.
Velux blinds arranged to fit on 19th December but they didn't show up so now rearranged for the 14th January. I don’t know whose fault this was but full access was given to Broadview to measure and assess prior to the wrong units being sent from Velux. Draw your own conclusions.

Thank you for your review. Apologies your email had landed with our team just after they had finished prior to Christmas so communication was delayed. however the roller blind has now been installed.
With regard to your Velux windows these weren’t working preventing installation of the blinds then as agreed we would return after these were replaced. However due to a change by Velux some additional items were required and we have now confirmed a rebook date with you. I do hope all will be satisfactory.
