Every stage of our journey with Brittania has been faultless. What a wonderful balance of amazing, personal service and professionalism. Communication was frequently and easy and everyone we dealt with was friendly and helpful. Could not recommend more highly.

The office were professional and informative when setting up the move, specifically Tina. They were happy to answer any questions, and the quote provided was very competitive. The packing team were punctual, professional and efficient, specifically Jimmy, James and Barry E. Everything was well wrapped and they also cleaned up after themselves (not that there was a lot to do). I expect my experience at the other end of my move will be of the same quality.

We used Britannia Beckwith in April 2026 for a move from Milton Keynes to the Rye area, involving pick-up from a house and a storage unit. We were very impressed by the efficiency and professionalism of the operation, and the helpfulness of everyone who took part; everything was well packaged and not a single item was broken or damaged in any way. Our huge thanks to Mark Vine and to all the other members of the team who were involved (Daniel, Mark, Dean, James, plus Toby & Ky from Movewells). We would happily use Britannia Beckwith again!

Mark C and Ant from Britannia Beckwith were punctual, polite and professional. You could tell they took great pride in their job and delivered all our items with care and efficiency.

From the very beginning, everyone we dealt with was professional, efficient, friendly, and did exactly what they said they would do. That includes the two people I met in the Eastbourne office who confirmed our booking, despite the short notice on my part.
Will and Lee, who were our removers on the day, were absolutely outstanding. I could go into great detail about all the ways they helped make our move run smoothly, but I’ll keep it simple: they were excellent from start to finish. From the moment they arrived, they were friendly, helpful, and hardworking, and they carried on through sweltering heat without a single complaint.
We kept them supplied with soft drinks and cups of tea as much as we could, but they rarely stayed still long enough to finish one. Their attitude, professionalism, and sheer effort made a stressful day far easier than it could have been.
If anyone is reading this and wondering whether to choose Britannia, I would say do not hesitate. Based on our experience, they were superb. And if a director or senior manager happens to read this, then frankly, whatever you’re paying Will and Lee, it is not enough.

Amazing service , Lee Clinton and Will Elder , went above and beyond to move me in extreme heat 4 flights of stairs moving out and 2 flights moving in , nothing was too much trouble. Definitely recommend this company .

This is the third time we have used Britannia Beckwith, which shows how very satisfied we have been with their service. The guys were unfailingly helpful and ensured that no items were missed out. On this occasion, Bob, Mark D. and Mark R. had to contend with rain while loading and sun while unloading. They were cheerful throughout. We would not hesitate to use this company again, and to recommend it to others.

We have used Britannia for both storage and removals and have found them to be a thoroughly decent company. On this occasion Cameron managed to fit us in at short notice and on the hottest day of the year so far Lee and Paul moved our parents household to various locations in the area again without any fuss. Thanks to everyone.

Rob W, Mark C, Kev, Mark V and Barry were fantastic throughout our 3 day move. We have nothing but praise for them, their packing skills and their exceptional hard work The middle day of the move felt a little stressful and we felt there could have been 4 of them for the whole of that day. Our only other comment is that maybe allocating the same people to a whole 3 day move would add some consistency for the customer.

Lee Clinton and Paul moved us from home to home and did a fantastic job. Really professional and calm which is what you want on moving day! Straightforward and really helpful - recommend!
