I’m Mira, a bridal specialist with over 28 years of experience in creating, altering, and perfecting wedding dresses to ensure every bride feels confident and beautiful on her special day. We have recently moved our shop from Portobello to Prestonpans, allowing us to offer our brides a more spacious, calm, and private environment for fittings and consultations. Every appointment is approached with care, attention to detail, and a personal touch, because I believe every dress should fit not just your body, but your vision too.

Mira saw me very last minute as I had been sorely let down by a different tailor who had made a complete mess of my bridesmaid dress. She listened to me about all the concerns I had about my dress and altered it to perfection. I honestly can’t thank her enough for her amazing and careful handiwork. She is absolutely brilliant! I had been in tears for the wrong reasons before I saw Mira and now the tears are all down to happiness! Thank you so much!

I can not recommend Mira’s bridal tailoring service enough! From the very first fitting, she made me feel comfortable and confident. Her attention to detail is outstanding — every stitch was perfect, and the dress fit me like it was made just for me. Mira listened carefully to what I wanted, offered expert suggestions, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was flawless. Wedding dress alterations
My experience at Miras tailoring was incredible. She is the most genuine and lovely lady who really cares about her work. She tailored my wedding dress for me and made it perfect and the pricing was very reasonable as well. She was just as excited about my dress as I was which was so nice. Overall a 10/10 experience and I would recommend her to anyone, especially brides who want their dresses in safe hands.

An amazing experience from start to…
An amazing experience from start to finish. I had to have the length of my bridesmaid dress altered and Mira was exceptional. So friendly and really put the care and attention into sorting the dress for me. Super quick turnaround and absolutely fair pricing. Would 100% recommend!

I can't thank Mira enough for helping me with my wedding gown. Not only did she do the initial alterations perfectly, she also helped at very short notice when I had a last minute freak out. She calmed me down and took care of everything ❤️
