Upon entering the contract with Brandon Ellis law firm I was promised that my first account would be settled by December 30, 2023, the second account would be settled by March 30, 2024, the third April 24, 2024, and the fifth by May 30 of 2024. Currently, I have four settlement offers which are sitting at the law office being ignored and three of them have now expired and are not being offered. I have questioned as to why we are missing such great opportunities as this is the point of the program and was told that the company is being restructured and they are short staffed, which is why nothing has been settled in a years time. Upon contacting reliant, who is holding part of my funds which were to be used for the settlements - I was truthfully told that the company is not being restructured, Yet being sued and are not authorized to settle anything for anyone. They have collected over $3700 of my money and have done absolutely nothing that they promised to do, and will not return phone calls or emails. I am now experiencing severe stress and financial repercussions from this company’s unfulfilled obligations and have never been represented or benefitted by the program which was supposed to get me out of debt. Now have more debt and the creditors are not willing to settle with me, as no one has been in contact with them since I started this program last June. It looks to them as if I was just running from my responsibilities. This has ruined my credit, reputation and put an immense amount of pressure on my family. I never even know my attorney’s name until being summoned for municipal court. I was promised that it would never go that far and that I would not face public embarrassment- that was protected by Brandon Ellis, which was a lie

I am a 77-year-old widow who found myself in hefty credit card debt. I decided, unfortunately, to engage Brandon Ellis Law Firm to help with this problem. I began the process back in October 2023 and to date have not had any satisfaction with them. They have done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING on my behalf. I have sent them numerous emails asking why the process is not moving forward. Each and every time they respond by telling me to contact Customer Service. When I do call (many times), I am on hold. At one point, I was on hold for 5 hours!!!! That is not an exaggeration since I had the call on speaker and just went about my daily routine and waited for them to answer. When they did, they told me nothing. I was also informed by Brandon Ellis to ignore any contact that I received from my creditors since they are "acting on my behalf." I am also aware of the fact that they are in litigation. I am extremely angry, upset, and concerned about this situation. To date, I have sent them (electronically through my bank) over $7,880! I would like to cancel my association with them and request they return ALL my money.

I signed up in Dec and just recently found out that Brandon Ellis law firm has been in a law suit since January and is not allowed to negotiate mine or anyone else’s credit card debt until the lawsuit is settled which at this time is indefinite. They never called, texted or emailed me to let me know. After several attempts on my part to email and call them without the last 3 months I finally called Reliant 949-859-1404 to find out the status of my debt settlements. The customer rep Client Operations specialist informed me about the law suit. She told me she would be able to close my account with Brandon Ellis and all funds will be returned to my bank account within 5 days. Now I’m 6 months behind in ALL of my credit card payments and my credit score dropped. This is ludicrous!

Total waste of time and money. Everything they can do, you can do on your own. I’m not suggesting that is a scam, but I ended filing bankruptcy anyway. As in any endeavor, do your homework and make a choice that works best for you. I would advise against this option based on my experience. However, I made my choices and you will have to make yours. Take the time to handle your emotions before doing your research then make a choice that works best for you.

I signed up for debt consolidation, 7 months and $4000 later not one debt has been settled by Brandon Ellis. I have called many times, and have waited over an hour to speak to someone. When I finally get someone on the phone they can't answer any questions, put me back on hold, and then hang up on me

Great customer service

1 star is way to high of a rating. Just found out I was scammed out of nearly 3000.00. They wouldn't answer my calls about it. My wife called and all the sudden they were open. Don't fall for this. I paid 800 a month, 5000 overall and only get 1900 back to deal with it myself

I paid this firm over2000.00 over 4 months, wasn’t able to contact them by any means I then cancelled the program, I asked for a refund of all the money I had paid them I received a refund of 401.08Where did the rest go?
they hadn’t contacted my creditors either, all they did was take 1600.00 of my money and ruin my credit. So!!! DON’T trust this firm..

I just cancelled my program participation, this company is not 100% truthful when it comes to the fees they charge. I was told that fees would be collected upon settlement agreements with the creditor, but that's a lie, they take 90% from your payment each time for a Retainer Fee and Service Costs. This is why they tell you it takes months to negotiate settlements because there is nothing left after all the fees. Then just wait until you need help from your Brandon Ellis Law Firm's client support team, I was on hold for hours everyday for 5 days straight and never did get to talk to anyone, and don't waste your time emailing them because they will tell you to call them. I paid them over $1,200 in 2 months, and received a refund of $6.04, and they didn't settle any accounts. They are a mess.

I have had issues with extra money coming out of my account. As of today it has been 3 weeks of me waiting on answers with ill need to look into this as an answer. Not to mention you can never get through on their help number and the attorney i had said they was having issues with their 3rd party forwarded.

Signing up was easy, and fairly painless... Almost like something is wrong. It's been 6 months since I thought this was stroke of good luck to clear up the financial wreckage of a divorce....
It's been 6 months and my debts are starting to go to third party collections... I've spoken to all my creditors about my accounts, and one of them said they couldn't talk to me since I elected to get a Lawyer, while the rest said Brand Ellis never contacted them and have nothing on file but when I called them... 6 months ago. Help? I've tried to call only to sit aimlessly on hold awaiting someone to answer.

They agreed to refund my money on Jan 4th 2024 within 10 days. As of this day I have not received my money. Then on the 5th of February I received a email stating that operations were stoped because of a gigantic lawsuit from the state of NY that they are being suied along with several other law firms and financial firms for misleading customers.

Been trying to call for the past 2 weeks. Email them and no response. They've taken a lot of money for me. Stay away. Finally month later got through. They refused to refund me anything.

Whatever you do, do not sign with this firm. I signed without doin the proper research and am paying the price for it now. Since august I have deposited $4,500.00. I only have $1,000.00 in my account. On January 11,2024 I called to ask for a payoff amount. The proper forms were all sent to me. I transferred $10,000.00 to them on each of the next three days. Since then I have not been able to reach them. I have phone records to prove I have 3-10 times a day trying to speak to someone. One day I called at 9:00 a.m and was on hold for over four hours. E-mail were sent regularly and not answered. This is not the kind of firm you want to deal with.

Do not use these people your money is all going to their fees. Would take you 10yrs for a settlement. And when you opt out, they refund a fraction of what you put in. STAY CLEAR!!!

I have been trying to reach the firm for 9 days. No one is answering the phone. I smell fraud.

When I phoned Brandon Ellis Law Firm several times in one day for clarity on various papers, they were always kind and helpful. Excellent cooperation with them!

My experience has been great. Whenever I call I get an immediate response. My questions are answered and the people are very helpful.
