I rarely leave negative reviews, but this time I feel I must warn other customers.
I ordered a Jonathan sofa from BoxSofa back in September 2024, thinking I was investing in a high-quality, long-lasting piece. Instead, I received two defective sofas, and now I’m left with a useless product, no support, and no refund.
The first sofa was:
Not the correct shape, completely different from the photos on their website
Poorly made, with inflation issues and deep fabric creases
They agreed to send a replacement, which arrived after a long wait — but the situation was even worse:
One of the two modules is clearly factory defective
It has exposed springs, missing foam, a collapsing backrest, and legs that won’t screw in properly
It’s unusable, uncomfortable, and frankly dangerous to sit on
I contacted BoxSofa multiple times via email and chat — no response.
They’ve completely disappeared, and Klarna has not helped either.
Now I am forced to pay for disposal myself, and I’ve wasted time, money, and energy.
Stay away from this company. Their product quality is terrible, and their customer service is non-existent.
What looks good online is absolutely not what you get in reality.
I strongly advise anyone considering a purchase from BoxSofa to look elsewhere.
This has been one of the most frustrating shopping experiences I've ever had.
