Would absolutely not recommend this site. Bought two tickets for a show and never received confirmation. When I tried to contact them I was put through to a chat bot and received no communication from anyone. They messaged me a ‘reminder’ and it mentioned asking for help if needed. I texted ‘HELP’ as instructed, three times, got nothing. The only way I got my tickets was by calling the theatre, so if you’re in a similar situation, try that. Good luck if you bought with these people because it’s a JOURNEY trying to actually get your tickets.
No tickets. No confirmation!
On April 30th I booked a ticket to see Dance BC on Wednesday May 21 7:30 at Sadlers wells. I did not receive confirmation of my purchase. On May 1thinking that the order had not been successful for some reason, I booked again, again with no confirmation. The money for the 2 tickets was debited from my account on both days. This left a nasty taste in my mouth. Is this a scam? Is this a reputable company?

I bought 2 tickets at £98 each for Richard II at the Bridge Theatre. I did not received any email confirmation of my booking or the tickets. However about a month later after carefully checking my email account, I was certain that I had not received any confirmation or tickets but the cost of the tickets had been charged to my bank account. After searching the Boxoffice website, I found an email address at which to contact them and give details of my order and complain that I had not been sent a confirmation. After reading a number of Trustpilot reviews from people who had paid for but not received tickets from Boxoffice, I was pleasantly surprised to receive an email from Boxoffice with a confirmation email of my booking. The email states that the tickets will be emailed to me two days before the performance and if not I can show my confirmation and pick them up at the theatre on the day of the performance.
Tickets Never Arrived
Bought tickets for an upcoming show. Spent over £400 on tickets. Confirmation email never arrived, tickets never sent. Customer service a chat bot. Complete and utter scam. Avoid at all costs.
No refund and no contact from Box Office
Contacted by email on day of show to advise main actor sick. Was offered a refund by completing a form via link. Initially the form was closed so had to seek help. Resent another link which worked. Completed and had notification advising would hear in next few days. I heard nothing. 4 emails later and I have heard nothing further and no refund. Have had to raise a dispute through the credit card company due to complete lack of contact. I would avoid this company at all costs, book through other providers. Definitely not professional or reputable !
Lost €200 on a ticket
Ordered a €200 theatre ticket and needed to change the date when my travel plans were changed (through no fault of my own). Customer service is a chat bot. I was able to submit my request for review, and received an email promising to send another email with instructions for exchanging my ticket. The subsequent email never arrived and my requests to resend it went unanswered. Theatres should know that they will lose customers if the only way to buy their tickets is through this unreliable forum.

I paid more than £200 for tickets for an opera at the Royal Opera House a month ago. Their confirmation has never arrived and their customer help on their web site is useless - they keep on saying they will send the confirmation email but none ever arrives. They have no phone number or office address. Boxoffice.co.uk appears to be a complete scam. Avoid.
I have managed to buy more tickets directly from the ROH but I have lost the £200+ I gave to boxoffice.co.uk
Do not trust this company
Do not trust this company. Bought tickets for a show. Arrived at theatre and refused entry. QR codes invalid. Almost impossible to contact. Still no refund or apology. Had to register a case with an outside adjudicator. Fingers crossed

How are they managing to have acccess when they don’t have available tickets . As per other comments no email sent to confirm. Payment taken .

You purchase the tickets then you never get a confirmation email or proof or purchase.
Contact their customer service who claim to have resent it but nothing ever comes through and then they just stop replying.
All of the negative reviews are exactly what happened. Stay well clear.

A simple politely phrased question takes two days and 5,6,7? emails to get the answer. Emails passed up and to deputy head and actual head of customers services with still no answer.
Tickets Paid for Never Received - Correspondence Ignored
I ordered tickets to Dr Strangelove in London. I received an order number but no confirmation email. I chatted to them online but got no response. I emailed their help email but got no response. I called the number attached to their affiliate website encore tickets and it is not a working number. They were happy to charge my credit card, but not able to deliver the tickets or respond to my correspondence.
Impossible to Contact the company after purchase, and no confirmation email received.

My mother had a stroke and I tried to see if I could exchange for a different performance. The only way to get in touch is via their chat on the website, to which I received no response (I tried for 3 days). I managed to find a email and a phone number through the theatre directly. The phone number had an automated message saying their phone lines are closed, and I have had no reply to my emails. It's a complete rip off. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I attempted to purchase tickets for "Hello Dolly" three times, but the BoxOffice.co.uk website malfunctioned each time. Frustrated, I had to find tickets elsewhere. To my horror, BoxOffice.co.uk has now charged my card three times for failed transactions, with no confirmation emails or e-tickets provided. It's clear I've been scammed.
Adding insult to injury, there's no way to contact the company to resolve this.
Potential customers, please take heed: Avoid BoxOffice.co.uk at all costs! Buy your tickets from a reputable source. I deeply regret not checking Trustpilot first – 75% of their reviews are 1-star for a reason.

I did not click on cancellation insurance - it was greyed out. I was charged. I could not get a refund on the tickets. The agent I (eventually) spoke to after an hour on the phone said that I would get an e-mail to review the situation, but as it was the weekend, it would be Monday. Still waiting. This is a scam.

Insecure website, bank details hacked
Booked tickets for a theatre trip using this company. Hours later my bank account and others were hacked. Bit of a coincidence. They do not seem to be a secure website.
Over priced but all good!
I made a mistake, like others, not realising I hadn't bought through the arena directly and subsequently paid about £7 per ticket more than I needed to. I read the reviews which then really worried me but it was all for nothing as I received my tickets promptly.. no issues at all, and then on the day the tickets were sent again along with a reminder a few days before. I will be more careful booking next time to avoid extra costs but as for the service....it was absolutely great....as was the strictly tour show!!
