Since December 2025 it doesn't work anymore

Since December 2025, you cannot upload high quality pictures into Boxbrownie for a rework, even if they respect their condition of being lower than 20Mo.
The only solution that they give is to resize the pictures down to a few Kbts, which erases completely the quality.
Moreover, when you send pictures to remove objects, they always forget some objects, and it looks like they use IA, because the results are awful.

To clarify, the upload issue wasn’t related to the file size in MB, but rather the image resolution. The image you were trying to upload was over 16,000 pixels, which exceeds the system’s supported dimensions and can cause the upload to fail. That said, we completely understand how the guidance you received may have felt limiting, and we apologise for any confusion or inconvenience this caused.

Regarding the object removal results, we’re sorry to hear that some items were missed. Trained editors complete our work, and each image is reviewed and finalised by our team. If anything was overlooked, we’re always happy to correct it at no additional cost. Our goal is always for you to be fully satisfied with the final result.

Very Disappointed Their Quality After I spent $400+ on Box Brownie

When I spent $400+ on Box Brownie, the original landscape background was more vibrant. Box Brownie returned a dull background and less vibrant red rocks.

Also, they can't follow directions on about half of what they return. They forgot to remove several things I marked up in the photo, but virtually staged the room nicely. When I asked for a "redo" of their work, because they didn't remove a few items, they sent me back a photo removing all the furniture they just staged the day before. I had to ask 3 times for 4 photos to be redone. They're too expensive for the quality and they put me back a day when I needed to make a listing live. Very disappointed with their work.

BB has been going down hill over the past 6 months, and now we have engaged another company. Their head office does not answer phones, the online chat just keeps saying sorry, and yet no further assistance is given.

Inconsistent Editing Quality with SnapSnapSnap

I've been a professional real estate photographer editing my own photos for 20 years. Where I live the summers are very hot and humid, and taking photos in large vacant houses has brought me close to heat stroke in the past. This year I thought I'd use SnapSnap Snap instead so I could get in and out more quickly. My first 2 projects turned out good even though I had to have them re-edit the window views. The editing of the window views in my recent 3rd project were terrible. Most were too dark to be believeable, one was completely oversaturated, and the worst was a large window where the window frame was patchy grey instead of white and it was totally amateurish. I had them rework it twice, never got better. Then I chatted with someone who referred it to a different editor and got me a refund for the job. While waiting for it I edited the window frame myself in Photoshop and got the best possible result (it was at least usable). I received the 3rd reworking later and it was pretty good but I used my edit. I won't be using them again because you can't count on the quality being there from project to project. This is important because having to return to a house for a re-shoot is an unacceptable possibility. However, for others who don't need the best results every time and on time, this is the best service available - I have tried other apps and they all have blown out windows. But for now I'm sticking with my DSLR.

It could be good – but...

Everything is fine if there are no corrections… unfortunately, there have been far too many lately.

The production team apparently wants to deliver real estate photos within a few hours – but when they don’t read the job preferences that BoxBrownie itself asks us to provide – which I, of course, have done – the job comes back with errors. And THEN the problems begin!

Typically, you have to follow up again after 20–24 hours to check on corrections that should take 5 minutes in Photoshop but exist simply because the team doesn’t read the instructions.

The response is always that no ETA can be given for corrections – corrections that shouldn’t even be necessary if they just did what they ask their customers to do: read the preferences. Clearly, they don’t.

I haven’t received a single job back this year without errors!

It’s a shame because when they get it right, the quality is usually very good.

But I don’t want to spend all my time explaining their own mistakes, so I’ve "simply" found another provider who will handle my tasks from now on.

2nd time saying they did seomthing but did not

This is the 2nd time I submitted a project where they did next to nothing to enhance the pics and charged me. I didnt say anything the first time because it was one pic. This time it was 3 pics and I specifically wrote in the notes what I wanted. They cropped the pics and didnt do what I asked. When I chatted with them the customer service person was rude and challenging. I know its only $5 I was asking for but it was because they didnt do what I asked and when I questioned them they acted like they did. Will never use them again due to the repeat experience and the rude service.

They will re-edit anything. They did not know what objects to take out and I was unable to check my email, so to my amazement they called me! They called to ask what I needed edited. They have great customer service.
