My teeth have always been white and they have now turned a grey looking color! My mom said to me the other day, in the past few months your teeth has gotten dingy looking. Did u switch toothpastes?
Great whitening powder
I received this complimentary from Boka. I have never used a tooth powder before and I think it really is going to be a great helper for me. I tend to drink a lot of coffee so I have some stains from caffeine. I have noticed on a first impression my teeth actually did look whiter when I brushed them in the morning and in the night. They also fell for some reason much more cleaner thanks to this powder. I am definitely going to have to get used to using this since I always used the common way of brushing my teeth. Despite that I really think this is something great that I'm adding for my self-care

I am extremely disappointed with Boka Toothpaste. We switched our family to Boka based on their marketing that it was “clean” and safe for children without fluoride. Despite brushing and deep flossing every night, my child developed five major cavities in one year, plus several smaller ones, and one cavity required a dental cap. This product did not protect teeth as advertised. I feel misled by Boka’s marketing, and other parents should be aware.

Worse place i been, took them 45 min to come and take the order and then 1 hour and 30 min to bring the food, steak from this place was one of the worst i have had.

Non-Existent customer service. They make it impossibly hard to cancel your subscription. The directions are not accurate and I'm convinced they don't send you a to your email to you can log on when they say they do.
I have 3 months worth of product that I did not want! Every month that it renewed, I would email them to cancel, and they never did! What a waste of my money.
I have repeatedly emailed customer support to cancel my subscription and it is never canceled! I still can't figure out how to cancel my subscription, but I did figure out how to remove my credit card so hopefully that solves the problem!

Other reputable brands are transparent about their concentrations (e.g., 10% or more), so the refusal here is concerning. If you care about effectiveness and honesty in marketing, I would recommend looking at brands that clearly state what you're actually paying for.

This is the WORST customer service (if you can call an email address without replies customer service) I have ever had in my life. Legitimately, the worst in my entire life.
I placed an order for over $120.00 on June 6th. My order has still not left Boka’s facility to my house. It is sitting in pre-shipping with label and no pickup date. Today is now June 12th; an entire week just sitting and not being mailed!
There is NO PHONE NUMBER to call for ANYTHING. Beware! Seriously, no contact number or email other than one single email. It is the general email “…@boka.com”. That is it. No other way to contact them.
I have sent four emails now daily with NO RESPONSE! Nothing! Nada! Order is STILL sitting without a care in the world. Meanwhile, Boka has my money and my products.
Wow! Just, wow! My only options now are social media and reviews everywhere until I get my items, response and refund. My bank will be shortlisted here real quick to file a dispute. Also, file a claim with the attorney general. Then, file a claim with the BBB.. then… anything else I can.
Boka are crooks at this point. Currently stealing from me without remorse or response. Great business model!
I like this product and started using…
I like this product and started using it because I wanted something free of Fluoride and Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. I normally order the 3 packs and have only had an issue once with 2 tubes being busted and they were promptly replaced with a new 3 pack. I had zero issues with customer service. My teeth can be sensitive but have had no sensitivities come back since using this vs other big box brands.

0 stars! I tried the toothpaste and stopped using it quite awhile ago. I discovered I have been charged on my credit card every 3 months for almost 2 years for a recurring subscription that I never signed up for and for products that I never received. I contested the charges with my credit card and received refunds for all the bogus charges. I contacted BOKA via email (they have no phone number) to cancel the subscription I never signed up for. They assured me the subscription had been canceled. A few days later I was charged on my card again. Today I received 2 tubes of mint toothpaste that I never ordered. I contacted my credit card company again to make sure the charges were removed and I returned the toothpaste. I will report them if I have any more unauthorized charges.

I’d give them a zero star if I could. I’ve been a customer for over 2 yrs because we love the toothpaste. No cavities since using their toothpaste. It’s unfortunate their customer service is so terribly bad, I just can’t subject myself to their lousy service anymore. There’s no phone number to call — only AI type emailed canned replies. Unfortunately I will have to wait for my order to arrive — too late to cancel it. It’s still sitting in Illinois and hasn’t moved since November 27th, the day I ordered. “It’s Black Friday and Cyber Mondays fault” they say. Whatever, I won’t order again. It took forever the last time I ordered and the packaging was all smashed. Fool me once, shame on you! Fool me twice —shame on me. I’m done!! I will be sure and tell the dentist who recommended Boka all about their “more than bad” customer service.

Tried their 3 pack of toothpaste - 2 of the flavors were awful. They refused to let me return and offered me 10% off another flavor (less than the discount available on their website) and told me to give the toothpaste away. What a waste of money.

Not to be trusted. Mediocre product, poor customer service, questionable ethics. Had an issue charging the brush after just a few uses. They asked me to return the brush and subsequently told me that they “couldn’t recreate the issue” and returned the faulty brush to me. It worked/ charged sporadically and I ultimately “recycled” it. They persisted in soliciting me for a product review for their webpage. I wrote an honest, balanced but mostly negative review which they chose not to post. They clearly screen their reviews, as I say, questionable ethics. They also blocked me on Instagram after I left a polite but negative review. As I say, not to be trusted and in my subsequent experience, there are superior products available.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. I ordered the whitestrips and when I used a set, they were awful! They made my teeth terribly splotchy! I’ve used other brands of white strips before and this has NEVER happened. I contacted customer service for a refund and they were terrible. I will never shop here again. I was a repeat customer for their toothpaste, but now I have switched to Risewell toothpaste which is a great alternative to Boka and has better customer service. Here is what they said for returning a $40 pack of strips. Definitely not a good way to treat customers.

A lot can affect the result of the whitening strips on your teeth. Having observed that some parts of your tooth turned white is proof that the item is not defective.
As additional information, they only work with natural teeth.
Lastly, to answer your question, although I can understand that you only used 1 strip, the Sensitive Smile Whitening Strips are being sold as a set and are considered as one item. Once opened, it will be considered used. “
Just Try Cancelling With These People
I got an email from them saying they were "preparing" to send a recurring scheduled order I had previously authorized. I told them to cancel the repeating order. Then I noticed they had charged my credit card for the order. I disputed the charge with my bank, and Boka responded to that by saying the order had been shipped and received. By then, that was true, but when I used the tracking number on the shipping label to learn when the package had been sent, I learned it had been sent more than two weeks after I had cancelled. No reputable company would behave in this manner. Every other merchant I have a recurring arrangement with gives several days to cancel the order--but not this Boka outfit. Stay away from these people--they are bad news.
Awful customer service
Awful customer service. I've been using their stuff for a few years now. They shipped my subscription order without letting me know, to a wrong address. Contacted and was told can't cancel (they hadn't shipped it yet!) And was offered change address instead. Fast forward a month and the address has not changed, item has not arrived, customer service has no clue what they are talking about. Toothpaste is alright, but this leaves a terrible taste in my mouth (pun intended) and I'll be not be purchasing from them again.

I've been using Ela mint for more than 4 years and I really like it. Sometimes it takes longer than usual to receive.
The toothpaste is mostly fine - that’s the only good thing I can say
The toothpaste is mostly fine, save for them not accurately representing the flavor but that’s a little subjective probably, when it gets to you. It’s overly expensive (there are much cheaper n-HA toothpastes available) but I was enjoying the orange flavor so I’d let that slide.
But their shipper is DHL and sometimes things just apparently sit in a DHL facility for a month. But don’t expect customer service to have any idea what’s happening or respond to you.
Also they definitely don’t publish anything but rave reviews on their site - they released a cinnamon flavor that I tried and was pretty bummed to find that it was way more clove than cinnamon, left a middling review for it mentioning that (I would not have purchased it if I’d known that going in so I hoped to alert others) - but despite the review being left by a multi year subscription customer, it was never published to the site. I suspect they screened a bunch of bad reviews for the clove flavor as there are very very few reviews for it at all.
I had a subscription for toothpaste for I think 3 years, maybe longer, but shipping has become a huge problem with them, customer service is useless, and after I found them not publishing reviews I canceled and I don’t recommend them at all.

I like the idea behind the toothpaste. Non fluoride Na-H. The first time I ordered from them I waited for weeks for my order. In fact I had to contact them to find out what the hold up was. They ended up sending another package at no cost and I got that one right away. The coco ginger is awful tasting. The lemon lavender is ok. Ela mint is good. And my toddler loves the orange kids paste. Overall it’s been ok. They fixed the delivery issue as soon as I brought it up. They recently came out with a new flavor watermelon mint. So I’ll probably try and order that.
