Superb musicians, great range of repertoire, and very easy to make arrangements in advance of the gig (the online booking platform made sorting out details before the day super easy). Highly recommended!

This band is epic!! We got married in April and all our guests still talk about what an incredible band we had - some have even asked for the contact details to have them at their weddings. The vocals were insane, the energy was incredible and they got everyone dancing all night. From the first interaction to the last song this band exceeded all expectations and I want to relive it all again!! They have a portal online where you can update any songs you want or don’t want and they even learnt our first dance for us and did an amazing job! They had a call with us a couple of weeks before the wedding to answer any questions and to ensure everyone was comfortable. As a bride I was in very safe hands and love that the band is run by its drummer (very cool!). They even came to my wedding venue to ensure it was big enough for all the players we wanted. Do not hesitate, if you have an event book (especially a wedding) this highly talented band is the one and they will give you the most unforgettable night! Thank you!!

Incredible! The band were so so good on every level. From the professionalism during booking and the build up, song selections to the actual day itself they were awesome. Amazing sound, energy and sets. We had such an amazing day and a huge part of that was thanks to Blue Lion. They also made one of my ushers' years by letting him front man to Murder She Wrote!! We couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Wedding planning is seriously stressful, and we definitely struggled to find suppliers that we trusted. However, from the first moment of contacting the Blue Lion Band, they were nothing but professional and supportive. I never worried about them, not even for a minute! In the lead up to the event Dessie was very communicative and answered all my questions. The online planning form was really helpful to make sure that nothing was forgotten, and we had a quick and easy chat on the phone a few days before the wedding to chat through the finer details. All in all, ideal and easy organisation. On the night, the band was phenomenal- amazing vocals, perfect song choices and incredible fun. Everyone was up and dancing and so many people commented on how great they were. They were also incredibly flexible when we had to alter timings as our wedding breakfast ran a bit late. I cannot thank them enough, and would highly recommend the Blue Lion Band for any wedding or other event.

We saw Blue Lion Band at a friend's wedding last year and knew we had to have them for our wedding! Dessie, our main contact, was brilliant. Quick to respond to any queries we had, and their planning page made all the organisation so easy. On the day they were amazing! They were really flexible, working around our speeches over running, meaning a slightly later start time than planned. They really listened to our music taste, and read the crowd so well. Everyone was up dancing all night which was exactly what we wanted!! So many guests commented on how amazing they were. f you are looking for a band for any event or wedding then we can’t recommend these guys enough!!! Just brilliant and such talented musicians! We had a small wedding but the dance floor was never empty with these guys playing. Two months on people still talk about how phenomenal they were, and how it is the best music they have ever seen at a Wedding! The flexibility you have on how many band members and what instruments, down to what songs is just brilliant. Darren is so quick to respond and so helpful and knowledgable. Their monthly showcases are well worth a visit if you want to see for yourselves just how good they are!! Wouldn’t hesitate to book again for another event!

This band are absolutely amazing, even better than we anticipated.
Communications prior to our wedding were efficient and swift. We had a number of complications which Dessie reassured us through with an upbeat solution focused attitude.
Not only are they a hugely talented bunch of musicians but they are also really nice people, introducing themselves early on in the evening and being thoroughly engaging with all of us throughout the event.

Blue Lion band played our wedding in June 2022 after 2 COVID postponements. The band were incredible - the dance floor was packed all night and the energy was fantastic - the band and dancing will be one of my favourite memories of our wedding.
Darren was very attentive and helpful in the planning and had some great suggestions. They also did our ceremony and reception music both of which were excellent, they got exactly the right vibe we were looking for on the day and made sure everything ran smoothly.
We have had loads of comments from guests about how great the band were and we certainly agree.

The band are amazing. Everyone is an outstanding musician in their own right and they blend perfectly. In our area, they don’t come any better.

Once our wedding venue was booked a live band was next on our list. Searching the web for hours over several days and the only band to stand out were 'Radio King' now Blue Lion.

Blue Lion added a fantastic atmosphere to our wedding night celebrations, kicking the night off singing the song to our first dance and continued throughout the night performing great song choices that kept everyone dancing. A fun night was had by all, we have had so much positive feedback from our guests.
