The band were fantastic and had everyone on the dance floor. We also booked an acoustic singer for the drinks reception and a DJ for in between and after the live sets. Very professional booking service and support when planning.

A huge thank you to you and the whole Blue Lion Band! They were amazing! We had so much fun and so many of our guests have been talking about the music. I've already passed on your details to a few friends who are getting married next year.

BLB did a great duet for our wedding day afternoon and then got the party well and truly rocking in the evening. A full dance floor all night, hats off to Tom and the gang!

The Blue Lion Band provided the music for our wedding on 29th July 2023 and we can't praise them enough!
We had 120 guests and the wedding was held at the family home with a large marquee for the reception. We had a string trio for the ceremony, followed by a saxophone/piano duet for the drinks reception and then a 5 piece band in the evening.
Tom was amazing from start to finish, helping us to curate our perfect day- which it definitely was! The band were flexible and were able to play all of our requests. The whole vibe of the day was just so perfect and the evening band were so good the dance floor was full the whole night. Thank you again to you all!!! The Zimmermans x

Blue Lion Band were absolutely amazing. Every part of the planning and performance were perfect. I’m not sure of the name of our singer (she had red hair and a tattoo on her chest) but she was incredible as well as friendly and lovely! The song choices were perfect. The set up and take down went off without a hitch. I would highly recommend!

I cannot recommend Dessie and the Blue Lion Band enough! Seamless organisation via the event dashboard and great communication throughout the whole planning stage. I have had countless comments from members of staff and even the venues staff saying how amazing the band were. So friendly and warm and even had a little dance with us at the end of the night! We had a magical day for our daughter, Lucy's wedding to Rob, with many memories made.The Blue Lion Band's performance simply added to those special moments that stay with you forever with their brilliant playlist, guests' dance moves (not all good ones, we have to say),singalongs and aching feet the following day - but in a good way. SO: Tom Green, our main point of contact, who made the booking process so easy and was just lovely to deal with; Liam Dunachie, the talented pianist who provided Lucy with a beautiful slowed down version of "I'll be there for you" as her entrance music, which made me cry every time; Nick our DJ, guitarist and vocalist; Tiernan on bass; Mike on sax; Richard on drums; Jacob on keys and Amelia our vocalist, who danced all night and whose vocals never wavered - THANK YOU, you are simply awesome

We recently hired the 6pc Blue Lion Band to play in the evening at our wedding. We’d heard them play before at another friends wedding and enjoyed the night so much we thought we’d get them for ours! They didn’t disappoint.
They performed our first dance song exactly as we’d asked and put on a brilliant set list through the night based on types of music we’d told them we liked (you get a band page online where you can easily add all this information making the experience organising this much easier). Despite the hot weather, the dance floor was filled all night. The lead male singer was particularly good at getting everybody involved and moving round the room and the females vocals were really good, especially when she started belting out a Beyoncé tune. All in all we had a brilliant night and I’d recommend them to anyone looking!

Absolutely incredible from start to finish- excellent communication throughout the planning and the band on the night was just phenomenal. We've had people raving about how great they've been all weekend, would recommend to anyone! Completely made our wedding day perfect.

I was nervous about booking a band that I hadn't heard play together before but it couldn't have gone any better. All of our guests commented on how great they were, especially the unexpected mashups! I wish we could relive the night all over again just to hear the band again. Thank you so much!

From start to finish dealing with The Blue Lion Band has been amazing. The pricing was transparent and the attention to detail with our producer was second to none and completely professional. On the day we booked a 3 piece Mumford style Festival band and then a High energy 8 piece party band for our evening party. All of our guests commented on the quality of the bands and how great and current they were. The party band had everyone dancing all night and there was nearly a riot when they finished!!
The 3 piece day band was as we hoped, unobtrusive but present and a fantastic addition to our Festival style wedding. I loved every song that they played and the vocals were awesome. I wouldn’t book any other band in the future as The Blue Lion Band ticked every box for every occasion. For us, they made our wedding all that we hoped it would be. We booked The Blue Lion Band back in 2020! They had come highly recommended by a friend who had them play at her daughter wedding. With Covid we had to change the date of the wedding a few time & Simon managed the whole situation seamlessly. When our day finally arrived the band were amazing. Everyone was up dancing & having the best time. We had the band & DJ sets in-between which worked really well. I would highly recommend using The Blue Lion Band.

We began looking for a band to play at our wedding just under a year before our big day. Simon who was the manager for the band was helpful friendly and knowledgeable (he had experience with the venue we had chosen which was a bonus)
He didn't push us to spend loads on extras, and took our opinions on board and helped us get our first dance perfect.
The value for money was outstanding - and we feel that everything was perfect from the sessions the band played music for to the quality of their performance.
Fingers crossed I dont need to plan another wedding, but if I did we'd use Blue Lion in a heartbeat!

The Blue Lion Band have now performed at two of our work events and will continue to book them going forward. They are fantastic! Great communication prior to each event with going through timings and how the evening will go and brilliant performers.

The Blue Lion Band recently performed at our wedding. We had soo many compliments about them. They were the perfect addition to our wedding. We had an 8-piece band and it really made our evening. Apart from requesting a couple of songs we left the song choices up to them and they sounded amazing. Even the songs in between the sets were brilliant. Very professional and were perfect. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

We have had so many compliments on how fantastic the band were at our wedding. People were especially impressed with the standard of the singing. Dance floor fillers the whole night. Couldn't have asked for better.
