After trying and failing to take bloods myself, I opted for this company to come out and take my samples needed at home. The nurse was absolutely delightful, very professional and efficient.
I had my results within 48 hours, confirming my suspicions that some of my hormones were low (practically non-existent!).
The information provided by the medical professional who interpreted my results was easy to read and understand.
I’d use this company again, thank you!

Test received quickly with accompanying info if need help. I did find the finger prick test a bit of a trial though into such a small container and trying to keep blood coming. Had to use all the lancets. The result fitted with what the doctors were saying on reducing my meds.

Another ‘inadequate’ sample result from this lab. The results are of no value to me at all

Absolute joke , no info with the tests on how or where to book , and impossible to get hold of anyone , and starting to think its a scam and they have just taken my money

I found Blue Horizon to be very helpful. I am a newbie to having a private blood test done. They answered my queries promptly and I received my results, together with feedback from the company’s GP (no extra charge), within a week of the test being taken.

I am now a bit further down the road to understanding my hypothyroidism.

I would certainly recommend Blue Horizon and am sure I will be using them again.

Easy to order, easy to complete tests quick response. Could wish Tasso didn't cost extra.

Very efficient turnaround time for test, but disappointed that Doctors comments would take a few days so I opted out of receiving the comments.

The test kit took 3 days to get to me. I suspect the blame lies with Royal Mail. Any alternative delivery agent? Once I sent blood sample the turnaround time was 1 working day which was excellent. Thank you.

I can't express how disappointed I am with Blue Horizon Blood Tests. I've noticed some good reviews and can only wonder why I've had such a bad experience. I ordered some blood tests early this year. I then tried to speak to someone but they only communicate via email. I picked my hospital [ nearest one was miles away which was why I wanted to speak to someone ]. But the worst part was on receiving results - or should I say lack of results. All I received was an email giving me an odd code which I have no idea what it means. No blood report, no blood levels just the code and a line saying all is fine [?]. I have spent the last few months trying to get clarity on a) what they tested and b) where's the report? Giving me an obscure mutation code means absolutely nothing to me.

Shocking customer service - the worst I've experienced with any company. One person wrote back [a lady called Rebecca] saying she'd like to understand what the problem is - I had already mentioned my concerns in a detailed email which I then sent her. No response. I also emailed Steve at Team Blue Customer Support. No response.

I don't know if they are governed by any regulatory organisation like MHRA but I'm so appalled I will be taking the matter further.

Guidance was not clear for ordering multiple tests. I had problems trying to book phlebotomy service. After 2 weeks repeatedly reaching out to Blue Horizon I eventually managed to sort it directly with the phlebotomy service themselves.
Blue Horizon don't appear to have a dedicated complaints system and when I raised a complaint they did not appear to care at all about my prolonged and very frustrating experience.

My second time of using this service. Convenient, email results with fast turnaround, good value. Good customer support.

My experience with Blue Horizon was completely unacceptable. I paid for important test results and had to chase them multiple times before finally receiving them over 10 days late. During this time, they insisted the results had been sent, but provided no real proof (only forwarding a draft, not actual evidence of delivery). Despite claiming to have “taken all necessary steps,” they failed to proactively resend or even notify me that my results were supposedly available until after I chased them.

Their communication felt dismissive, and their excuses (including blaming a lab technical issue) only added to my frustration. Waiting on critical health information while getting the runaround caused serious distress and forced me to delay personal plans. They still haven’t provided proper evidence that the original results email was sent, despite multiple requests.

This service felt unreliable, disorganized, and lacking in basic accountability. I would not recommend Blue Horizon to anyone who values professionalism or peace of mind.

I booked a blood test and received the kit safely, which initially seemed promising. However, I soon discovered that the company only has a very limited number of partner hospitals where you can actually take the test. Unfortunately, none were within a reasonable travelling distance for me.

I contacted the company multiple times via email, explaining that the kit was undamaged and unused, and that I was unable to attend the appointment due to travel constraints. Despite several attempts to get in touch, I received no response whatsoever.

Once you've booked, if anything goes wrong, you're completely on your own. There's no customer support to help resolve issues, no flexibility, and no acknowledgement of your messages. I expected better service from a medical testing provider. I would not recommend using this company unless you're absolutely sure you can attend one of their few locations.

Quick and easy to order. Website great to navigate. Order received in a couple of days sent back and results were ready in a day. Emailed results to me quick and easy. Great service.

Special request for prompt results granted. Quick responses to messages in very pleasant manner.

Nurse for home collection of samples very kind and professional but availability could be better.
