Fern Middle Locker in Dijon

I purchased the Fern Middle Locker in Dijon, and it is both beautiful and very sturdy. The metal finish may not be to everyone’s taste, and I do remember struggling to choose the colour—but Dijon is a great choice.

What impressed me most, however, was the exceptional support from the e-commerce team. They were incredibly helpful and responded with impressive speed. I had an issue with one of the doors, which was resolved quickly and efficiently.
The engineers to check the door who visited my home on both occasions were extremely polite, careful, and helpful—something that certainly did not go unnoticed.

I truly appreciate the support I’ve received throughout this process. From placing the order and arranging delivery to the aftersales service, everything has been outstanding. This level of professionalism and responsiveness is rare these days, and I am very grateful for the experience.

Happy Customer

I have numerous Bisley products, including the fern lockers, a multi-drawer, and the multi-desk for personal use, and I am incredibly happy with the quality and longevity of the products, having had some of them for nearly five years - they've stood the test of time. The website makes it easy to view the items and envision them in my space. Bisley is definitely a company I will buy from again.

I ordered 5 very small finish samples…

I ordered 5 very small finish samples on Feb 18th so I could choose the furniture colour. Today is March 22nd and I never received it.
I am not talking about a whole cabinet I am talking about very small samples. If they couldn't post it in more than a month can you imagine a cabinet?

I had very high expectations for UK made...

I had very high expectations for UK-made furniture, but I’m hugely disappointed.

I ordered a metal display sideboard in late November and waited nearly two months for delivery, finally receiving it in late January. Unfortunately, it arrived with two areas of damage—on the side and the top of the cupboard. The delivery drivers mentioned that this happens quite often, which was extremely frustrating and disappointing.

Does not actually service Ireland

Tried to order from the Irish site multiple times. I live in a big town outside of Dublin. It kept saying wrong eircode (it wasn't). Finally rang them and they confirmed they only deliver to certain parts of Ireland.
So disappointing that this company fronts an Irish website that does not actually service all of Ireland, just certain areas most likely Dubin. Very misleading and was not obvious from the order page or site.

Our delivery network covers various areas throughout Ireland (these are listed in our FAQs and T&Cs on our website). There are certain areas we do not deliver to as standard, but we do cover most of Ireland - including Limerick City, Galway City, Cork City, Wexford, Waterford, Northern Ireland and many other areas. That said, we appreciate this was not made clear enough during the ordering process and we apologise for the confusion this caused.

Please be assured that we are actively working on expanding our delivery network across the whole Ireland so we can serve more locations in the future. Your feedback is extremely valuable and helps us to identify where we need to improve both our service and communication.

Our customers absolutely love Bisley

Our customers absolutely love the Bisley range of products we are able to supply them.

Strong, sturdy and British made. They're also stylish in a huge range of colours and nothing else comes close.

Everything from placing an order, right through to delivery is fantastic and clear all the way. Even on the one time we have had a damaged delivery, Bisley sorted this right away collecting the damaged item and replacing for new.

Cant fault, and looking forward to many more years working together

I feel I must write a review on Bisley

I feel I must write a review on Bisley, what a great company, I had an old set of filing cabinets from the office with missing parts. I emailed Bisley to ask if they sold piece parts and was immediately contacted and they offered and sent the parts absolutely free of charge. Unfortunately when they turned up I realised I had ordered the wrong parts - got back in touch and they sent out a second shipment instantly. What companies offer this kind of product support these days, they have definitely got my loyalty and I will only be looking for Bisley products for my office in future as they really didnt need to support it as well as they did, WELL done and thanks

Overly aggressive marketing tactic

I purchased a set of storage drawers in 2024 and although expensive, I was quite pleased with the product. Today I received an email asking me to complete a survey about my experience. I took the time to fill out the survey, but when I went to submit it I was unable to do so unless I agreed to receive marketing emails from them. How rude to ask someone to provide feedback but then to take the feedback unless you agree to get junk mail from them. Sleazy.

Pretty but flimsy

Products look pretty and sturdy from the website. In reality, they ARE pretty but also very flimsy and not very sturdy at all. The metal sheet they're made from is very thin so it warps and bends easily on certain parts, like the drawers rail and the base of the cabinet

Customer service is first class..

Customer service is first class... The phone is answered quickly... By a cheerful knowledgeable team member.... There is no press one.. Press two for something else etc.. So refreshing to talk to a friendly human beng and not to have to struggle with a robot... Well done Bisley.. I love your Company.

Great products and customer service.

Very successful, well run British company with excellent customer service and office products.
The cabinets I bought 30 years ago are still working very well and are very solidly made in the UK.
It is heartening to know that this British company did not relocate abroad where labour is cheaper and made the decision to stay in the UK.
It must be the only large company that still employs a receptionist to answer the phone and no automated options!

Cheap and nasty plastic components inside units will fail

Paper documents will, eventually, get stuck behind the drawers of all Bisley filing cabinets. You will not be able to retrieve the paperwork. You will not be able to close the drawer, either, which will remain half open. You will then not be able to open other drawers in the unit, because of the tilt security mechanism. Removing the drawers to retrieve paperwork is hell on earth. The online instructions are unclear, with bad photographs. Tracking down the correct instructions is not easy. Metal inside the units is very sharp and, maybe, like me, you cut suffer multiple cuts to your fingers, getting blood and grease everywhere. You will then find that crucial components inside the unit are not the robust construction you thought you had purchased, but very cheap and nasty plastic. These will have failed. You will curse Bisley for having sold you, at great cost, a very poor quality product.
