From nightmare to perfekt,
I got the biscotto stones to the ooni coda 2 max. But the nightmare part was, both stones was broken. I send a mail to the company, and the CEO Tom not only got back to me THE SAME DAY!! But also send me new stones the very next day. Unbelievable service. I know getting a stone send to you this is the fear that it breaks. But with this level of service, thats why i get my stones from Biscotto Stones International. Amazing service can only give the highest recommendation this company.

Don't take a chance with Biscotto Stones - bad customer service
UPDATE 2: Biscotto Stones are very expensive. The final resolution of my case after many months is "deal with a damaged product." This is not satisfactory to me for the price paid, particularly the time to non-resolution. I have purchased one before without issue, but I will not buy anything from this company again. Again, patronize at your own risk.
UPDATE: Biscotto Stones confirmed receipt of the photos, but still no resolution. I cannot recommend doing business with this company.
I received a damaged stone, with no apparent external damage to the packaging. I notified Biscotto Stones, and they requested photos of the packaging, which was provided. I've not heard anything from them since. I'm out several hundred $ between the stone, shipping, and duties, and I have nothing I can use. Don't take your chances with this company.

After been in discussions with DHL's insurance company, they still referring to that this is a handmade product and small chips can happen, but this does not affect the performance of the stone. This is the same as I stated in the email to you.
So giving us a service review of 1 of 5, is not reflecting the time and energi we have used on your case.
Again! the chip is not affecting the performance, so saying that you can not use the stone is not the truth.

Hi Mark,
As stated in the email I sent to you, I have sent all information over to DHL Express. They have said that they have forwarded it to their insurance provider, and I'm waiting for an answer from them.
Also the chip in the stone will not affect the cooking of pizzas, and i'm trying to help you here.
It's important to know the small chips or imperfections are not covered by insurance unless the damage has happen during transport from us to the customer.

Due to the fragile nature of the stone, we do not offer any guarantee on the stones. This is standard industry practice. If your stove comes with a broken or cracked stone, you must contact us immediately.
Unfortunately, we can not replace stones that have minor damage. Because these stones are handmade, air-dried and then oven-dried, it quite often results in imperfections and tiles along the edges. Such minor damage does not change the performance of the stone or stove, and is therefore not considered a defect. If a customer finds a damage to the stone troublesome, we recommend that the customer rotates the stone when possible to achieve the smoothest possible surface or that the customer goes a little over with sandpaper

We have not received any pictures from you.
In the email from you that we received, there was a picture of a small chip in the stone. The chip will not affect the process of cooking pizzas. This is not a damaged product, and are not covered by the insurance during transport. All this is stated on the website.
If you please could send them again, and we can state that the stone was damaged during transport,we will of course send you an warranty replacement.

The stones for my gozney dome S1 are fantastic. They were a perfect fit. I ordered 1 to test the product as the $444 cost felt a bit steep, that was including shipping to the US though, but after running one all day, I instantly bought a second one. Top quality product, and absolutely made cooking my high hydration contemporary Neapolitan pizza a breeze compared to the cordorite ones they come with.

Poorly packaged to be shipped overseas. Product made it, but sustained moderate damage to stone. Hole for burner (not the ash bin) was cut extremely poorly and looks as if VERY little care was taken causing it to be very much of an oval, as opposed to a circle. The opposite hole (ash bin) was cut MUCH better. For the cost, I would expect a much higher quality product. I do understand that it is hand cut stone, and still strongly feel that the quality is lacking.

Sorry if part of the floor had some flaws around the hole for the gas. That should not have been sent out iof it's as bad as you have described. Please send me some pictures (tom@biscottostones.com), and I will see what it looks like.
I also wonder if there was any loose parts layiong in the packaging? there are normally extra syroform supporting the holes on the stones that you ordered. All shippments are insured during transport, so if thats the case, I could have claimed that if we had been contacted within 48 hours after you received the stones.
But anyway.
I'll credit you some that we can discuss privatly in an email communication.

Best upgrade I have done to my Ooni Koda 16. No more problems making multiple Pizzas when having a party, crust and bottom come out perfect each time. A small adjustment had to be made to the burners while cooking, as this stone sits a bit higher than the OEM stone.

The reason the stones are shipped from Norway is that my company is located in Norway. I’m working on getting approval to have a custom storage, and if I get approval, the stones will on paper still be in the EU.
