Bought a panel and mppt over the weekend. Had some questions about delivery. They phoned me to check something. Super friendly. All concerns resolved, kit arrived over next 2 days. Great sales service from Emma. Thanks, will recommend them to others.

I have used Bimble several times and am happy to recommend them. The pre-sales guidance was very detailed and helpful. The on-line experience was good and the pricing is normally very competetive. I have always collected from their warehouse (near Lewes) and found the warehouse staff friendly and welcoming.

Great service, we were able to talk to a person on the telephone and get advice on actual stock rather than what it says on a screen.
After having many bad experiences of companies taking your money and then saying ‘sorry but stock not available for x number of weeks’ it was great to get an honest and helpful answer. Products arrived in 3 days, fantastic.

Take a lot of the negative reviews on here with a pinch of salt. I've ordered 7 or 8 times from them and had fast delivery and top service and support from them over the last few years.
Having read through the last 10 negative reviews, their relevance is very questionable - either its someone blaming Bimble for quality of a 3rd party panel company, or trying to plug another supplier or complaining because of a courier issue or lack of understanding about how a bms works or a solar charger. Really not the fault of Bimble as far as I can see personally. Try them and you'll see what I mean, its good service and good kit.

Dont buy from this company, after 2 years one of my panels delaminated a lot with a drop in power, the panel is still under warranty, the panel is clearly faulty and they want to charge me for returning it ! The panel is very large so will cost a lot to return. They are terrible for communication, can only communicate via email ! by them making me pay for the return they are breaking the The Consumer Rights Act 2015. They still refuse to pay and are now ignoring me. Court action is now the next step for me. AVOID THIS COMPANY !!!

Genuinely impressed

Like most folks, I don't usually go out of my way to provide reviews (except when a service is bad), but I've put in my third order for parts with Bimble and all I can say is a huge thanks for being so prompt, quick deliveries, great service ... and the sweets are a welcome bonus!

Bimblesolar are the best company on the planet.

That might sound hyperbolic, but stay tuned.

Bimble supply some of the most solid products on the internet (except their wind turbines.. But that's another story)

We have a phrase at home, "in bimble we trust". And that's because:

1. The time between purchase and despatch is usually same day - within an hour or two!
2. Communication is top notch. They're always available, and always concise.
3. Many companies have trouble with international deliveries, but our dear bimble doesn't. Oh no, it's sold properly without UK VAT and they get it to you.

I always look forward to buying from bimble. A love the checkout process; knowing that professionals are there behind ready to manage my order. I know it'll be delivered in a good time. That dependability is worth a lot.

When I've had problems with delivery (because of customs or the like) they have been incredibly prompt in contacting me; even phoning, to ensure a swift resolution.

Bought a battery online, arranged collection via the booking form, received a call and email on the day advising me of road closures near their warehouse. I called back to ask some questions, while the phone system tries to discourage you contacting them by phone the warehouse option answered quickly and were helpful.
When I arrived collection was super swift and easy.

I'd definitely use again and would recommend to others.

I ordered some goods at short notice which had to get to me before I travelled on elsewhere. I emailed to check that the item was in stock & if normal delivery arrangements would mean I'd get it in time. I received a reply very quickly that assured me that my timing would be OK, but to flag the order up by another email once I'd placed it. Sure enough the order was processed very quickly & I received it within 25 hours of ordering it at no extra charge.

Fantastic service. Put together a bespoke bundle for me. Ordered 4pm on Friday, arrived by 11.30am Saturday. A glitch with the website meant I put two payments through but a refund was sorted very quickly. So helpful - thanks!

first class, got in touch via their website about an off grid set up, within a day Grant got in touch via email and asked a load of questions from what i was going to need the system for to what time of year , duration even what battery i had. well within two days Grant had sorted a custom set up for me , a few more questions were asked about fitting and were answered quickly. Will highly recomend Bimble Solar , great price fantastic comunication

I like bimble solar my only complaint is the high prices I don't understand why over competitors seem to be 3rd cheaper

Fantastic pre-sales advice, products were spot on and after sales awesome too.
Bimble were very helpful and knowledgeable and gave me fantastic product advice to help me choose the right setup for the solar rig for my campervan. I phoned initially but was then asked to email my list of queries which was a bit disappointing at first but in the end the advice given over email was really thorough, several emails in the conversation and it was great to have it all written down for reference/links etc.
The products were very competitively priced and it all works amazingly, very happy with it.
I had to return some items due to changing my design a bit and Bimble were extremely accommodating. I dropped the ball on my part of the returns process and they chased me to make sure it was all wrapped up and processed.

Previously bought inverter and 8 solar panels from bimble as well as mersen disconnects and their fuses etc no issues, however it all went wrong with my pylontech battery, after tens of emails with their *tech support" trying to diagnose the issue with my knackered pylontech us3000c ( pretty obvious its a bms issue) they ask me to courier it to one of their repair people, how can i arrange a courier to pick up a lithium battery? so i will be contacting the finance company and ask them to step in, i contacted bimble nearly 30 days ago about this issue and its still not resolved, good job that i dont rely on solar for my power. I had an issue when i first bought the battery back in june as my cerbo wouldnt recognise it, which i reported to bimble. I previously had a 24v system based on victron components with lithium batteries wired in series parallel. that worked great ( for 2 years ) but i decided to upgrade to a 48v system using all victron + pylontech, my advice dont buy pylontech

After discussing my requirements regarding a solar setup I was sent a suggested package from Bimble sales department. After some minor adjustments I placed a order with them. The kit came within a couple of day's, All top quality stuff. Everything fully installed, working as it should. I can highly recommend Bimble Solar Ltd.

I placed an order for solar panels that I could not find a better price for, Bimble Solar extremely competitive.

It is made very clear that I must be available at time of delivery otherwise I’d be charged for a second delivery attempt. I understood this, so took a day off work to ensure I could receive the goods.

I had an apologetic email at 12:46 from Green2, the delivery company used for my order.

“We are having difficulty charging our van to the point we have got to get somebody out to unlock the vehicle so that we can charge it. So i am so sorry but we are unable to make the delivery today.”

I’ve now been offered delivery on Saturday with the delivery window of 7am until 9pm. I’m told I’d get a 3 hour window the working day preceding delivery, had nothing yet.

Great products, and would buy from Bimble Solar again in future, but beware of unreliable delivery. I’ve lost a days wages (during a cost of living crisis) and looks like I’ll have a Saturday at home waiting for a delivery that may or may not arrive.

Thank you for offering to refund the delivery charge, I’ve emailed my order details.
Unfortunately, todays delivery hasn’t arrived in the 3 hour delivery window (11am-2pm) and I haven’t had communication to suggest when/if they will be delivered today. I am still hoping for a call from the driver giving me 30 minutes notice. I’m sure you can appreciate that I don’t want to spend a Saturday at home especially if Green2 don’t deliver.
Appreciate this is an issue with Green2 and not Bimble.

Update, panels delivered. It may be me, but I expected some protective packaging or paperwork/invoice/instructions but nothing? Literally two panels…

Refunded as confirmed here. Upped the star rating as this was an issue with Green2 not BimbleSolar. As mentioned in first post, I would still return to BimbleSolar and response has been great. The packaging and paper free delivery was unexpected but as long as that is standard then I’m happy with reducing waste/paper.

Nice touch with the sweets. Ultimately, I got the wires I needed. Quick delivery with good tracking information and the product is installed and working exactly as it should. Thank you!
