Sold me religiously slaughtered New Zealand lamb after telling me nothing they sell is RS.
Then threatened me with slander when I highlighted the issue and promptly blocked me.

Everything was packaged really well. Came chilled, with ice packs and in a thermal bag. I ordered a meat pack with add ons. The loin of pork was huge, very good value.
Really pleased with my order.

Spent £167 on a hamper with extras 3 weeks ago. Much of the food is very good and fresh, some isn’t.
3kg of Sirloin steak was decent although some of the cuts were thick 1 side and thin the other. In the main 7/10 at best.
Mr Marinade chicken thighs were the best, really tasty, sausages and bacon were good. Chinese ribs were big but not the best.
Unfortunately the 8 chicken breasts smelt bad and were off, I had to bin them. Also the gammon joint was really poor quality, almost inedible and tasteless.
I spent quite a lot of all this meat and there was good and bad. I expect it all to be good.
I won’t be ordering again from Best Meat.

Ok size wise but meet not the best fill of fat little meat to eat also false representation as steaks on the packet open it to find it’s actually pork witch doesn’t state this on the packet yet again more fat then there was meat not the best considering the price, what u pay is what u get!

Made our Easter
An absolute bargain of a hamper made our Easter, due to ill health, finances have been lacking recently but the prices at Best meat enable us to eat well and save money.
All of my family have shopped here for years and will continue to do so and support this fantastic business.

Order arrived today absolutely amazing value for money this is my fourth order and the amount of meat you get is brilliant for the price and all good meat never had any issues will definitely be a regular order.

Order was delayed by dhl and no one wants to deal with it ,meat has to be delivered within 48hrs ,I’ve emailed best meat and dhl ,no response where do I go from here . No customer care

No invoice for your transaction
We ordered 2 sirloins from them got confirmation email about my order (not invoice )
Anyway requested some sort of pdf version of invoice, lady told me they don’t provide invoices or recipe for transactions , I found that bit strange as they are vat register buisness .
Unfortunately won’t be doing any business with company refusing to send recipe or invoices

I've not yet tucked into all the products, hence the 2 stars, I still hold a little, but not much hope. I got the full 6-7kg sirloin(not anywhere near the weight) I also ordered one of the big meat bundles, £170+. Included in the bundle we're a couple of sirloins too. I decided to cut of a portion from the big joint and cook one of each, as looking at two "steaks" they were vastly different.
Cooking commenced and again, their appearance was vastly different. One resembling a steak, the other more pork like. Cooking finishes and I'm left with one rare steak, looking like a steak. The other looking more and more like a pork chop. Tasting the two, there's no question these are from two totally different animals, the fat tastes like pork, it smells like pork, I looks like pork. Unless I'm wrong and this is some weird hybrid non steak texture, non steak tasting smelling new meat. One thing I can confirm is that it is not premium, it is not tasty and it is not going to be getting ordered again. The other actual steak was fine, cheap cut, not a good quality sirloin. Rather intrigued to see how the rest of the £170 box of misery will taste.

Delivery was on the day it said it was and the DHL app made it easy to see when it'd arrive. Will improve score if the quality improves. But you can't polish a turd and pass it off as a trophy.

Great meat very good price and quick delivery,well packed will buy my meat from them and wow tastes excellent.

First time buying from best meat uk, wasn’t disappointed.
Got a 5-6kg full sirloin joint (actually weighed 5.8kg) so was chuffed with that.
Got a fillet steak joint also. I had to google how to trim etc and also bought a 10” steak knife which wasn’t very expensive but actually done a great job.
Got bacon, black pudding and other stuff.
Meat is lovely and fast delivery.
I got 30 steaks out of the sirloin and they were still a descent thickness.

Absolutely fantastic company I use them regularly can't fault them at all me freezer is full of meat

Was quite surprised because like an idiot I ordered before I read reviews.

I saw some negative ones after so was a little worried.

Been a customer for a few months now and still get a 5 star from me. Had zero issues and have always been pleased with produce. Loads a date on the product and loadsa quality

I wanted it to be nice and ordered a pack for 60 quid
Delivered ok
BUT the meat was awful
Bens banging burgers were full of sinew and when I poke a meat probe in I realised they were terrible
The bacon would not separate and could not get a rasher from it
Chicken was ok but I binned the lot
I did reach out to them but just got told they hadn’t experienced my concerns before and then didn’t answer
Shame but we live and learn

I got my very first order yesterday it was fantastic thanks,I got the £75 pack plus braising steak I was surprised at how much I received,I also got 4 ribeye steaks for 99p it’s amazing I will definitely be a regular customer, so much Ben

I’ve had several orders from Best Meat UK and cannot fault the quality or price of the meat. It’s always fresh, well packed and delivered on time. I’ve had whole sirloins and ribeye joints, lamb chops, meat joint hampers, sausages, bacon and todays delivery was king ribs ( pork belly). As always it didn’t disappoint, fresh, huge slices and so much cheaper than from a shop. All British meat at a fabulous price, so much so that people try telling me it must be foreign rubbish meat at that price, it most definitely isn’t and I won’t buy my meat from anywhere else now.

1 Star - Absolutely Disappointed - Avoid at All CostsAs a former butcher with over 20 years of experience handling premium cuts, I thought I'd treat myself to a full uncut ribeye joint from bestmeat.co.uk so I could portion it myself exactly how I wanted.What arrived was a complete letdown. Instead of the whole uncut ribeye I ordered and paid for, it came already sliced into steaks – totally ignoring my request. Worse still, the meat was tough as old boots, loaded with gristle, and covered in thick silver skin that hadn't been properly trimmed. It was chewy, fatty in all the wrong ways, and nowhere near the quality you'd expect from a site claiming to offer the "best meat."I ended up throwing half of it away because it was inedible. Complete waste of money. I've had better ribeye from the supermarket bargain bin. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere – this was far from "best" anything. Never ordering again.

Honestly the cheek to advertise meat they do that looks great, but send cheap rubbish that's nothing like it is unreal. I spent about £80 as a single parent that's alot of money to put it all in the bin!
The nice plump chicken breasts advertised were actually thin smelly meat i wouldn't dare feed my kids. The nice thick chicken gojouns advertised, actually came in a pack named "chicken fingers" and were literally the shape and size of my baby finger, NOTHING LIKE advertised. The chicken wings literally had zero meat on them, you basically got a bag of sauce with chicken bones. The meatballs, mince, sausages all cheap and no one would eat. The ribs must have come from a starved animal because they were literally just RIBS, struggle to see any meat on them. Steaks the same, beautiful ones advertised, thin, cheap and a funny colour is what I was sent. Do not EVER waste your money on this, they do NOT send the same quality meat they show

I placed an order and expected delivery was in good time, the delivery driver rang my ring doorbell and I asked him to store it in my lock box. The value for meat is really good, value comparison to other butchers and their deals these are really good for bulk buying & freezing. Getting a 5.5kg sirloin for £75 is unbelievable really good value and really good quality steak 🥩
