Extremely disappointed
Extremely disappointed. My daughter and I were excited to attend a mother-daughter adventure camp at Stanwell Tops in early July, which cost $1390. Just days before, it was cancelled because the host “didn’t like the food options or heating” at the venue. For a camp meant to foster connection, it’s surprising they couldn’t make it work.
I was offered a future date at a different location (which didn’t suit us) or a refund. I chose the refund, but here we are, well beyond the promised 20–30 days, and I’m still waiting. The excuse is delays from Stripe, their payment processor — but Stripe’s own site says refunds take 5–10 days.
Poorly managed, unprofessional, and still out of pocket!
