There are several other reviews stating that people have paid for a battery(s) and received nothing.

I ordered and paid for a battery for a Dyson on 17 August 22. I immediately received email stating that payment had been successful, and the battery was due for delivery between Tuesday 23 August - Wednesday 24 August. No package was received, and they haven't responded to numerous emails and phone calls. Trying to get a refund via the credit card company.

Do NOT order though this company or you will lose your money!

Four numbers.

Ordered 4 weeks ago, 3 emails requesting any information, good or bad, 0 contract. Think I’ve lost my 60 pounds.

Another review. Do not buy from this company. Ordered a replacement dyson battery and just like all the other recent reviews- it has not arrived yet my money has been taken. Absolutely appalling that the company is still taking customer’s money.

I wish to add my name to the growing number of people who've lost money to this company. They used to be very good. They have £40 of my pension and yet I have no battery. They don't answer calls. They don't return messages. There are many other companies out there offering the same batteries and the same quality. I recommend that you use them.

This store is a SCAM. Warning do not buy.

3 x Batteries ordered and nothing. Lost around £150. I have phoned and emailed the company numerous times and no answer. Even tried phoning their accountants and web developers (both found with a few google searches) and no help or anything useful that might help me get a refund or the items.

Just add my name to the list of folk who have lost money. i dealt with them 2 years ago and all was fine. On the 24-8-2022 I payed £49 for a Dyson battery. Money left my account immediately and online receipt was fine. Unfortunately to date -13-09-2022- i have yet to see a battery. Impossible to contact firm by phone. No reply to emails or written letter.
I can only conclude they have gone out of business -but they still took my money- or this site has been taken over by a scam bot and Sussex batteries are not aware of it.

I too have had the same experience as recent reviewers and ordered from Batteryshopsussex (18/8) purely after reading the trustpilot reviews!
Has anyone tried to get their money back and anyone contacted Citizens advice or Consumer rights?
Guess we all should have paid a few pounds more and gone directly to Dyson.

Exactly the same as other recent reviews. I ordered a battery on 31.08.22, they took my money straight away. I never received any tracking info, no response via their contact form, or email. Cannot get through on the phone, my messages are not responded to.
I don’t know how they are allowed to keep taking people’s money. Unfortunately I paid via debit card so am unable to get my money back.

I’m just echoing the experience of others. Ordered Dyson replacement battery on 21st August, received confirmation of order but not of dispatch. Queried when delivery might be expected by email and phone. No response and still waiting. Previous dealings with this company have been good but judging by recent reviews, I’m surprised the Trustpilot rating is still so high.

Sadly I have joined the list - if only I'd checked on here first! no response to emails or phone calls - if they've gone bust then why are they still taking money?
Now ordered the real thing from Dyson just £10 more including delivery

Placed order and paid for new battery,recieved email of confirmation and told I should get it within 1 to3 days,am still waiting.they just totally ignore all emails and phone messages.

Very disappointed as I am still waiting for the two battery's I have paid for its 3 weeks now iv try to get in touch by phone and email with no reply so now I'm down £104.97

Placed an order for a battery on the 26/08/22
Had no delivery, Have rang and left 5 messages and emailed 6 times, no contact with me has been made.

Have to try and get my money back through the credit card company now.

Ordered a battery on the 27th - Money taken straight away - no dispatch note and no responses to multiple status enquiries using their contact form. Have already claimed back through PayPal and would strongly advise everyone to avoid this company

It would appear I have been scammed judging by all the latest reviews. Ordered a battery on the 31st August of which the money was taken on the 1st September with delivery due to be Tues / Wed this week and nothing has turned up. Have tried calling but just get their voicemail and have messaged on 3 occasions and had no response.
Avoid like the plague

My experience is the same as others, ordered on 20 August, delivery promised 23 to 25 August. Money taken and since then no contact and no response to any form of contact. Have started to try and get response through PayPal. Peter

Avoid! Have they gone under? I ordered a Dyson replacement on 20th August. Money paid, no battery delivery, no response to email or online form and they do not pick up the phone.

Ordered battery on 28th August had nothing delivered as of 7th Sept. Tried to call them (0808 506 8840) no answer and no callback when you leave a voicemail. Tried to contact them via their contact form three times but no response. Had no update on order since I ordered it so I’m assuming it’s not coming. Having to submit a dispute with credit card company now due to fraudulent practice this company is clearly demonstrating. Don’t buy from them you will lose your money.
