Customer service representative was not pleasant or helpful to deal with when van was picked up. Quite abrupt and short when asked questions. Also a little frustrating that shuttles back to airport don’t start until office opens at 7. We had to be at the airport before then. We fortunately had someone that could collect me from the rental location and take me to the airport. This did mean I had to drop my whole family to the airport first, then drop off rental vehicle and return to airport with my own ride sorted out. Just made the process quite frustrating. Vehicle itself was great.

I was given a car which was very dirty and had leaking battery acid coming into the car via the aircondtioner. The smell the battery acid smoking ,that we were inhaling made us feel unwellNeeded to be replaced 24hours later .Apparently the car I was supposed to be given the xtrail had mechanical problems .Super annoying as it was my mothers 80th birthday and we had to take 3 hours out of our day first for a replacement battery wait then having to go and swap the car at Sunshine Coast airport

I’ve now used this company several times because they’re always the best value. The website is straight forward and the communication post my booking was very good including how to catch the airport shuttle. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was the cars condition. This time we had a low tyre pressure warning we didn’t see until we’d left the yard and it was too hard given the roads around the airport to return, so we attended a local service station and pumped it up from 20 psi. We had the car for the week and it didn’t lose any more pressure so no puncture. The wiper blades were also well past their usefulness and when I had to use them in light rain it was terrible. I will continue to use them but hope they can pay a little more attention to these details.

Unfortunately, we booked through Stress less cars, which I shall never do again, as there was an international fee.

Great from start to finish. Quick turnaround, helpful staff, only one fly in the ointment. On returning the car, we were very quickly processed and lined up for the shuttle. A very unsmiling driver pulled up in the van and then advised us ( group of about 6 ) that for future reference, we should drop our bags & passengers at airport then return the car. Good suggestion but delivered with acid. It was not possible for us to do that, and soured the day. All of us were a bit shocked at his attitude, it was only about 9.30 am, not the end of a long day. I'm a repeat customer. The cars are older, but well maintained. This one was very affordable, and the comprehensive insurance option made for worry free driving. The shuttle service to the airport was quick and easy and drivers helpful.

Never have a problem dealing with this company, the cars I hire are never top of the market ( I don’t need that ), but they are clean, reliable, filled up ready to go .

The staff at Brisbane airport are the greatest asset for Bargain hire. A great team.

The online booking and check-in process is just so seamless that when I go in to pick my vehicle, no time is wasted. And the staff are very courteous, poite and professional. The rates are reasonably affordable.

We carried a wheelchair with us. The staff were most helpful in transporting it from airport and back.

The whole process was easy and so affordable. The car was very clean and in great condition. There was no wait for the airport shuttle to & from the depot. The staff were lovely. Very happy.

When I arrived, they all explained very well (really sympatic staff... if forgot his name) and offered me an upgrade car.
At the way back, easy to give back the car with a quick check and the shutlle took us back to the airport just after.
Only point the shuttle driver should speak a bit more and explained when we are on the domestic or international airport, If I didn't have paid attention we would have stopped to the domestic one instead of the international (same things to put luggages in the shuttle first for the international airport and second for the doemestic one to avoid to take them off and put it back). Only negative point but we were sunday and end of the day...

My most gripe was the pick up at the airport as the driver stood back and let women and men load there own suit cases. Maybe fair or enough the men load theres if possible, but the women not on.If the driver has a back issue he should not be working.I also spoke to a lady and daughter who had been waiting over a hour to be pick up,I think that seems quiet excessive.People at the desk were quiet friendly,and the over all experience hiring the car was exceptable

The service was excellent but the vehicle was dirty on the exterior. The interior was smelly and the seats had stains.
