We decided to replace some of our vinyl floor tiles with something better looking & also more durable. After some research we settled on terracotta tiles and we ordered our 16m2 of Rustic Presealed Terracotta Hexagonal Tiles 15 x 15 x 2cm from Baked Earth to cover our kitchen & upstairs bathroom. The tiles arrived packed 5 in a box, on a pallet which was dropped in front of our house. Considering the quantity I was impressed to only find 2 cracked tiles in a box which I managed to cut & use anyway. It was a lovely DYI job installing these tiles (I've never tried it before) & the finished product looks amazing! P.S. Really glad we went for the pre-sealed terracotta tiles as the floor was ready to use 3 hours after grouting!

Purchased 20m2 of the Rustic Presealed Rectangular Terracotta Tiles and could not be happier with them. They are laid in the kitchen and look fantastic.

I had a few after care questions once the tiles had been laid, and Baked Earth were more than happy to help.

On both occasions I have used Baked Earth they have been very helpful in helping get exactly the right tiles, and on the second occasion, particularly, they went out of their way to get the right solution. This is really excellent service.

I ordered some terracotta tiles through this company and they looked just as good in real life, I had a couple cracks in some and they were replaced no problem with good communication throughout

It’s the first time I ordered with them, the terracotta tiles were of very good quality and looked beautiful once laid. Had few of them broken during delivery, but they have a very efficient customer service team who were happy to replace all of the broken tiles

As a rule I dont write reviews but felt I need to give credit where credit is due.
Despite always having a number of reservations of using a Company I knew very little about I would highly recommend Baked Earth to anyone. Service was attentive and responsive and the team were very friendly despite my ignorance in laying tiles externally. The order came as indicated at time of purchase and they even agreed to send some ahead of time so I was able to commence laying a front path ahead of starting the courtyard. The tiles themselves were excellent. These are cley so need a bit of love when laying and are fragile until laid. A good few of the tiles had broken in transit but there were sufficient additional extras added to the order to compensate. The pattina of the tiles is amazing. Dont expect uniform. Each tile tells a storey. I grouted using Sika fastfix and complimented the tiles wells.
A big thanks to the team. If you are in any doubt about using Baked Earth, if you have the same experience as I had you will be pleased with how easy it is to work with these people.

Very good communication, fast and efficient, the product is a rustic product but of very good quality, some tiles were broken due to transport, it is inevitable, it is important to consider an extra percentage, as should be done when buying tiles of any kind. Very happy with the final result, it is not easy to find this type of product everywhere.

I love this company. They sell quality product, deliver excellent service & care about consumers. The kerbside delivery is a problem for me as I can’t lift heavy tiling so it’s been quite stressful. Other than this five stars.

Arrived poorly packaged, with the majority of tiles in every single box cracked.

Kindly asked for a collection and refund to be arranged, and they said we must send the goods back at our own cost.

Now having to take this up with trading standards.
