Following a stay in hospital a few years ago, I developed a pressure sore on the back of my heel which has been slow to heal. The biggest problem is in bed at night as the heel still rubs on the mattress – the original cause of the problem.

Having wasted a lot of money on aids and equipment ‘guaranteed’ to help, nothing has worked and I felt as if I’d have to have sleepless nights for ever. Step forward Putmans Heel Lift Leg Pillow from Back Care Online – and hooray! Problem solved!

It works because the ‘lift’ of the pillow is so slight, it doesn’t impact on the rest of my posture in bed, but gently fits under the bottom part of my calf, allowing my foot and heel to rest comfortably over the thicker (but not too thick) end of the wedge, thus lifting all pressure off the heel.

I’m absolutely delighted (and frankly astounded!) to have found a relief for my pressure sore. No more sleepless nights and no lower back pain with the ‘lift’ being too high. I just wish I’d known about Back Care Online sooner.

I can’t recommend this product and Back Care Online enough. The company’s website is very easy to navigate, the ordering and payment was simple and delivery very prompt.

Bought a new ortho mattress which was too firm for my back (lumbar disc issues).

I ordered late on a Tuesday evening and delivery was early on Thursday morning. The item was on sale at the time and very competitive compared to most other sellers.

Assembly of the inversion table was easy and it's very well-built. I'm pleased I didn't buy one of the much cheaper other brands available elsewhere.

The only real negative was the delivery by DX. It was supposed to be delivered between 8am and 6pm, but looking on the doorbell camera later that day, it turned out it was left outside at 07:40 without a knock at the door or a ring of the doorbell.

As it was raining and windy, by the time it was noticed and brought inside, the cardboard box was wet through.
