Heat pumps done right
Thank you so much to Sean from Aventus Eco. His heating design, installation and handover have all worked out very well. He is knowledgeable, professional, communicative, and responsive if any issues arise.
Going into winter with a couple of cold snaps (-4 degrees), the heat pump has performed brilliantly. During November, the system achieved an impressive energy efficiency (COP) of 4.26. The outdoor unit is silent — I don't know it's on unless I put my hand in front to feel the cold air being pushed out. I was also surprised that the unit looks good aesthetically too.
The biggest change has been comfort of my home. This system is a dramatic upgrade from my old gas boiler, which struggled to heat my listed Georgian flat. I sometimes woke up in winter seeing my breath. Combined with some light insulation measures recommended by Loco Home Retrofit, my flat feels completely different.
I found Sean through Loco Home Retrofit, who I'd highly recommend as well. If you’re looking for people who combine technical expertise with excellent customer service, go to Loco Home, and go to Sean.
And if you're interested in being cosier and doing right by the planet, heat pumps are the way to go.

Outstanding Service from Aventus Eco Ltd – Highly Recommended!
I had been struggling with unusually high electricity consumption—around 50 kWh per day—due to my air source heat pump system. Despite reaching out to multiple companies, including the original installer, no one was willing to help or even respond.
That’s when I contacted Sean from Aventus Eco Ltd, and I’m so glad I did. Sean promptly visited my home, conducted a thorough evaluation of all relevant factors, and successfully identified the root cause of the issue. He didn’t stop there—he also provided a detailed report that I could share with the installer and even offered to assist further in resolving the problem.
Sean’s professionalism, technical expertise, and willingness to go the extra mile truly set him apart. He is an absolute superstar, and I can’t recommend Aventus Eco Ltd highly enough for anyone facing similar challenges.
