Avoid!!! Poor communication, procedural failures, and disputed charges after my accident
If I could give zero stars, I would. I used this company after a car accident, and they have made a stressful situation dramatically worse at every single stage.
It started at delivery and never improved. Their driver turned up earlier than the agreed time, leaving me out of pocket just to get to the handover, costs they flatly refuse to reimburse, because in my experience this company never accepts responsibility for anything. I wasn't given a fair chance to inspect the vehicle, yet they now lean entirely on a check sheet filled in by their own driver as "proof" of its condition. Marking your own homework is not evidence.
The communication has been shocking. Two months of chasing, being ignored, and receiving responses that were dismissive, inaccurate, and at times misleading. The repair work they carried out was frankly shoddy, nowhere near an acceptable standard of workmanship.
Worst of all, they have completely ignored me about my child's car seat, which was in the vehicle during the accident and then refused to replace it. Safety guidance and standard insurer practice are clear: a child seat involved in a collision may be compromised and should be replaced, even if there is no visible damage. This company knows that, and still won't do it. When a business cuts corners on a child's safety to save money, that tells you everything you need to know.
Then there was the part that confirmed how this company operates: I discovered a £500 "recommendation gift" had been quietly paid to the person who referred me, never disclosed to me at any point. So the "recommendation" I trusted was bought and paid for. If they'll hide that from you, ask yourself what else they won't tell you.
And after all of this, their response is to pursue ME for alleged damage I completely dispute, while accepting zero responsibility for their own failures on delivery, inspection, and repairs.
Dismissive. Evasive. Untransparent. Do yourself a favour and take your business anywhere else. I wouldn't let this company handle a shopping trolley, let alone your car after an accident.

Poor Claim Management, Unresolved Complaints and Disputed Charges
I had a very disappointing experience with this company following a non-fault accident claim.
Throughout the claim process, I was advised to communicate through ALS rather than dealing directly with the third-party insurer. My vehicle was subsequently sent to one of their approved repairers, S&S Repair Centre, where the quality of the repair became a major concern.
After collecting my vehicle, I identified a number of issues which I formally disputed, including concerns regarding the quality of the paintwork, visible defects remaining after repair and damage that was not present before the vehicle entered the repairer’s custody.
When I raised these concerns, I expected ALS to take an active role in investigating the matter, particularly as they managed the claim and arranged the repairs through their approved network. Instead, I was ultimately informed that the matter was between myself and the repairer, despite my complaint relating directly to work carried out through their claim management process.
I was also surprised to receive an invoice for an alleged windscreen repair relating to the hire vehicle. The hire records state that the hire ended on 01/06/2026, however I physically returned the vehicle to S&S Repair Centre on 29/05/2026 when collecting my own vehicle. No inspection was carried out in my presence, no damage was raised with me at the time and no vehicle return report was provided.They just sent the invoice after 13 days to pay for the windscreen damage.
The most frustrating aspect of this experience has been the lack of accountability and communication once concerns were raised. Rather than receiving clear answers and support, I have spent weeks trying to obtain updates regarding the repairs.They just ghosted me.
Based on my personal experience, I would not use this company again and I have escalated my concerns through the appropriate complaints channels.

Many thanks for your review, although we are somewhat surprised to have received the same.
Our role in this matter was to establish liability and recover the cost of the repairs to the accident related damage to your vehicle, which we have duly done.
We note that your complaint revolves entirely about the calibre of repairs to your vehicle which in itself is somewhat confusing given that you willingly signed a Satisfaction Note confirming that you were happy with the repairs to your vehicle.
You then subsequently alleged that the repairs were substandard and made numerous unfounded and incorrect allegations in relation to the repairing garage.
You claimed that there was overspray due to their “being too lazy to take the bumper off”.
You were then furnished with CCTV footage of them removing the bumper, taking it to the Spraying Booth, painting the bumper, then re-affixing it to your vehicle.
You have now withdrawn this tranche of your complaint.
Similarly, you have alleged that they have damaged the bonnet by way of “painting it poorly”.
The repairing garage have confirmed and evidenced, that at no point have they, painted, polished or treated the bonnet, as they were instructed solely to repair the accident related damage – that being the bumper not the bonnet.
I have personally spoken to you for over 40 minutes to try to resolve your concerns, but it appears from that conversation and this review (and the reviews you have left the garage) that you are intent on an argument and not a satisfactory resolution.
As such, we shall leave you to proceed through your insurers, as you have now advised us that you are doing, and will eagerly await their confirmation that there has been no wrongdoing with the repairs undertaken to your vehicle.

Great service
To be honest I was nervous going through with this option, and I did contact every few days for an update as wanted to know what was happening, I did have my doubts. They gave us a courtesy car straight away and they got the job done and my car returned as promised - they are still dealing with the claim but have returned my car and have said that they will sort everything else.
