Had my car booked in for full dpf clean…
Had my car booked in for full dpf clean as well as a full service. Called then to ask if they could do a full rather than interim service. The man was very helpful and emailed me over the quote to do it all as it’s not shown on their website. It was originally booked for a Saturday. They called me on the Friday to apologise profusely because the man was really unwell with a cold/flu that has been going around the past couple of weeks. He asked if I could possibly do the Monday instead, or if not would I be willing to do Sunday as they had another man happy to work the Sunday so everyone booked in the Saturday would get the work done. Craig showed up on the Sunday afternoon and was fabulous. He explained the process for me, told me about any fault codes and cracked on with the job in had while I made him a much deserved cuppa!
Car was completed in a couple of hours, I’m yet to drive it but am expecting a little smoke when it starts and warms but hopefully that’ll be it. Will do an update if any issues but I don’t anticipate any. Thanks Craig for sacrificing your Sunday afternoon to do my car, hugely appreciate it.

I found this company online and looking at the reviews decided to give them a go. Booked an appointment. Had a phone call from the engineer to explain he was running slightly late. ( which i thought was a nice touch). When he arrived he went through the process doing a thorough clean once completed he found that the additive pump was not working and although did try and and sort it. It was to no avail. I am now waiting for a quote from them. Engineer was very thorough. He knew his stuff explained the process thoroughly in layman's terms not jargon.

The person who came was ok he did the dpf checks they deleted and blocked all the faults like a result the problem continues they came again and again they done the same thing,I won’t recommend them and honestly they just took my money without providing the right services!

10 STARS to Auto Assist!
I am so impressed with Auto Assist!! I had weeks of diagnostic checks and various sensors being replaced, as this was what I was told was the reason my car was going into limp mode. I spent almost £1000.00 and was still having the same issue. The last diagnostic test stated my DPF filter was 80% full plus the EGR sensor may need to be replaced (not another sensor I thought!). I was told only a garage could do a DPF Regeneration. I found Auto Assist online, who reassured me this was their speciality. They done an amazing job and an amazing technician named Craig even noticed the issue immediately, a split boost pipe!! All that money I spent and the stress I went through and it all came down to a pipe!! Unfortunately too many mechanics rely solely on diagnostics and not curiosity. Thank you to all at Auto Assist. They all showed empathy to an extremely stressed out female. They explained everything to me and due to the report they sent I have now been reimbursed some of the money I spent for having sensors replaced that I didn't need. Definitely will use Auto Assist again (hopefully I won't need to) and would definitely recommend. Big big thanks Michelle 😊
Waste of money
Had a DPF light and limp mode, I rang up to enquire about the premium clean. I was told there was a £150 call out and diagnostic fee and the clean would be an extra £279 but the clean would only be done if there were no other issues present. They came out and did the clean and the fault cleared for a day. Rang the aftercare department and a re visit was booked. They came out and recommend a new pressure sensor or new dpf. I have since learned from the main dealer that the dpf was beyond repair and needed replacing. Absolutely no communication from their end once they have your money. Company seems to be a massive con and waste of money

I found them on the Internet. From first point of contact to there arrival it was a smooth process. They were quick, efficient and totally transparent. Keeping me updated at all times. Very friendly staff on the phone and vehicle technicians were friendly and approachable. I am so pleased with the service. This has been a really positive experience. I will most certainly call on them if I have any further issues with my car in the future and cannot recommend them enough. Thank you

Phoned Auto Assist Group this morning they came out this afternoon and have fixed my exhaust filter fuel problem that another garage couldn’t .
They were courteous and gave me some excellent and useful information that I didn’t know before.

I have used these guys 3 times
I have used these guys 3 times. Each time, I had a great experience (misus the cost). My 3rd experience was back in May, when my DPF went. I got the extended 4 month warranty and they came to perform the regen and also, recommended an oil change, stating "it would not go again, or at least for a few years". Within 3 months, I encountered the same issue, where the DPF was full again.
I called, was told that the warranty would be honoured if I do the aftercare team's requirements. Essentially, get all the advisories remedied. I did at another great cost. Sent all the proof, and still waiting for them to honour the warranty, which I get the feeling they will weasel their way out of it somehow.
Its clear cut. I gave them close to £600, spending another £500 on remedies and getting no where. So it feels the last 2 times were a fluke (i.e. no immediate issues, no problem).
I will say, They come across as friendly, but action is needed, as I am 3 weeks without a vehicle, and have kids, work and more.
Edit 1 (Changing from 2 - 1 stars): Still on-going, and am in the process of giving a formal complaint, and am going to reach out to the Automotive dispute resolution body (Motor Ombudsman), to seek advice and look at the legal ramifications if this continues, as well as recovery of cost, as I will have to go to another party to help me.
Edit 2: Changing from 1 - 3 stars): They have finally come out and performed the regen, and got the car out of limp mode. It unfortunately took me threatening legal action (in my opinion) for this to get resolved quickly. I will say, the technician is someone I have seen a few times, and is excellent, but I do not advice paying for the premium warranty unless you are prepared to take these guys to court just for them to honour it (again, in my opinion and now experience).
Please be careful before using them!
They charged me to fix the dpf with 4 months warranty but literally after few miles my van went into lim mode.
Kept calling them and in end they asked me to change egr volve did that but vehicle were in same situation.
Again calling them every day finally after weeks they sent out a mobile van to look at it again and he advised me to change a pressure sensor and very next day I replaced it but problem is still there.
It’s been a week when I spoke to them last and still waiting for their response but no reply.
Please take an advise from your local garage before using them.
Waste of time....visits a garage instead
Shocking. Had two members fight over dealing with me. Which seemed good....
One seemed good, just couldn't do a date I needed...... but one simply said they could do the day I needed ...then on the day, Eren doesn't show and says "sorry I thought it was an enquiry" even though the emails back and forth confirm the day, time, service, which me even asking if it's tea or coffee they wanted, as well as where they are being chosen over their colleague due to being able to do the date.
Absolute jokers !!!...nothing worse than a liar.
A positive experience
A positive experience all round. I called them with my emissions problem and they were understanding and got a technician out to me rapidily. Mat the technician did what he had to do and was very knowledgeable and explained the problem and fixed. I would use this firm again.
Spent over £400 to have someone come…
Spent over £400 to have someone come out and clean my dpf. They told me I needed a mechanic to do an oil change and regen so I got someone out to do it. Sensors were still up. No aftercare was given from autoassist, they didn't care at all and the blockage apparently happened again after they'd seen it so they are saying there is a regen issue and not their problem. Well...the garage I eventually took it to has cleaned it properly so there is no regen issue. It's working perfectly fine now. They won't refund me so what's this warranty all about? I paid a lot of money for an unsuccessful clean. Quite rude in the email too. Avoid like the plague.
