Some good material but many flaws
Pros: Some of the speakers were very knowledgeable, and a pleasure to hear. Thank you for including Temple Grandin. She is a remarkable woman with so much valuable information to share.
Cons: (1) It was not a live seminar, although it was advertised as one. I expected a live seminar, where the audience would have the opportunity to ask questions, and I had several questions of my own. One huge disadvantage of having pre-selected questions is that the speaker isn't able to receive more specific information from the person asking the question, in order to better answer the question. This happened with the Temple Grandin Q/A session, where the person asking the questions did not provide enough specific info about the age of the child(ren). (What made things worse was that the moderator initially gaslighted me unintentially, telling me that I was incorrect, and that the seminar was indeed live. I had to prove my point to her, showing that I was not permitted to get onto each session until a certain time, but that I was able to fast-forward through each presentation). Next time, please make it clear to the attendees that it is not a live seminar, and that questions have been pre-selected.
(2) A number of the presentations consisted of common knowledge that most people already know about.
(3) I purchased the 'life-time' access to the presentations but I don't remember how to access them. it would be useful if you could please remind participants periodically about how to access the recorded sessions.

We sincerely apologize for the confusion and frustration caused by the format of the event. You're absolutely right that expectations should be clear from the beginning. While our sessions are pre-recorded to accommodate the schedules of our global speakers and viewers, we understand that the lack of live interaction can feel limiting, especially when you have important questions you'd like addressed. We’ll make it a priority to be more transparent in future communications about the format and Q&A process. We're also sorry to hear about the experience you had with our service and any misunderstanding about the session setup. That’s not the type of interaction we aim to deliver, and we’ll be reviewing how we communicate with and support our attendees moving forward.
Regarding the content, we appreciate your feedback about the depth of the presentations. Our goal is to offer a range of insights that are helpful to parents at all stages of their journey, but your point is well taken—we’ll continue to evaluate how we can provide more advanced or practical information in future summits.

Experts cover diverse topics; more sessions needed for ASD adults
They included speakers on a wide variety of topics including being social, using music, dating, and helping your teen or young adult transition to the next step. Several also pointed to further information on their websites. All appeared to be knowledgeable experts in their fields, although one was not as organized as I would have liked (on ADHD!) and another focused too much on the isolation and guilt of being a parent. I was really glad that the organization made the talks available at other times to fit my schedule... and I still hope to watch a few more as my time allows. I understood that the Powerpoint slides would be available to download and print, so I was disappointed when I could not figure out how to do that. Finally, I knew the conference was sponsored by a parenting magazine and all of the talks I heard focused on that angle; I wish, however, that there were specific sessions that focused on talking directly to autistic or neurodiverse adults to help us live better lives, or a separate equivalent online conference for ASD adults, and not solely talks for parents.

Very helpful
I didn't feel alone in my journey as a parent with the challenges I face daily with my Autistic level 3 child. The information was very relevant to our challenges and experiences. The summit provided reassurance that I was on the right track in regards to the approach I take but also provided some really helpful information to put into practice to hopefully address some of our biggest challenges.

Understandable layman’s terms
I appreciated the layman’s terms the speakers used. It made it so much easier to understand. I am a former educator but even my knowledge and experience of ASD and ADHD is limited. My husband and I are helping our daughter and son in law with their adopted daughter and the summit was so helpful.
