I had an extremely disappointing experience with Austen & Blake.

I ordered an engagement ring, and unfortunately I gave the wrong size measurement, completely my mistake. However, when I collected the ring and realised it was too big, I left it in the store immediately and called them within two hours asking for the ring to be remade.

I assumed the remake process had already started, especially because I explained that my proposal was planned for 4 weeks later.
After 1.5 weeks of silence, I received an email asking whether I actually wanted the ring remade. This was incredibly frustrating because I had already requested it both in store and over the phone. I then had to chase them repeatedly by email and phone calls, before they finally started the process, wasting another 4 days.
What makes this worse is that the original ring was made in around 2 weeks, yet somehow the remake takes over 4 weeks. Because of their delays and poor communication, I now have to use a fake display ring for my proposal instead of the actual engagement ring.
The customer service felt disorganised, dismissive, and disrespectful throughout the process. I understand mistakes happen, including mine, but the way this was handled was unacceptable.

Found the website from an 'earrings charm' website search. I made a purchase cause they offered more unique designs than other websites. My preference is not to wear what the next person next to you is wearing.
I really liked the ordering process, as you tailor your selection to your specific needs. You pick the metal type, and diamond clarity.
Throughout the order processing process, you are advised when your lab diamonds are made and arrive. Earrings being made, when they are despatched with tracking. You receive the diamond certifications by email.
My items were received in a box, slightly smaller than a shoe box. Inside the box is the jewellery box in the middle, very well presented.
The earring charms I purchased was exactly as I'd anticipated. Id definitely purchased from them again and would recommend them!

CRITICAL SERVICE FAILURE: Leeds branch took my fiancés ring on 11th April for resizing. It has been over a month. My wedding is 29th May. They have ignored 3 consecutive emails this week. I am 15 days away from my wedding with no ring and zero communication. Absolute radio silence.

Purchased a beautiful ring for my partner, which wouldn’t have been possible without the excellent help from Jean and Sara at the Chester Branch. Definitely recommend.

My partner is currently dealing with them as we have been waiting over a month for a resizing of the engagement ring, and the communications have been all over the place. After three weeks, he emailed for an update as he was told it would be a fortnight until we had the ring back. They said it was stuck in the waiting line to be repolished, and had the same response when he'd enquired a week later. After another week of waiting, he received an automated email saying they have received our ring and the exchange process will happen shortly... and then another email to say they have received the diamonds for the ring?
He rang to make a complaint today, and they have said there were delays as a diamond became loose during the process, and we should have the ring by next week.
I don't believe a word of it, and after reading other people's experiences, I am very dubious to whether this will be a ring that lasts a lifetime (or even a month).
This was supposed to be such an exciting time, and it has been very stressful having to chase up a company who were so lovely when dealing with my partner to select the design. He feels cheated of an exciting experience and upsold a very poor quality service.
As his fiancée, I want to feel excited to receive my ring, but now am just worried that it will either not arrive, or fall apart when it gets here.

After researching engagement rings both online and around Newcastle, we chose to visit Austen & Blake — and we’re very pleased that we did.

I’d been trying rings on for months and nothing felt quite right until this one. It’s a simple band, nothing flashy, but the second it was on my finger it just felt… done. Like it belonged.I know it’s just a ring, but I catch myself fiddling with it when I’m stressed and it genuinely grounds me. Didn’t expect to be sentimental about metal, yet here we are.

Booked a visit to the Cardiff branch and received a call from Teya the following morning to confirm the appointment. She was very friendly and professional, and immediately left a really positive first impression.

Over a number of visits to the branch, both Lucy and Teya were superb in helping me choose the perfect ring. They took the time to explain all the different options and carefully talked me through everything before I made the final decision on the piece.

The whole experience felt relaxed, professional, and genuinely helpful from start to finish. Fantastic customer service throughout and I would highly recommend Austen & Blake to anyone looking for a great jewellery buying experience.

Poppy helped me today in the Chester store. She was approachable, friendly and knowledgeable about ring metal and diamonds. The relaxed approach in the store eased the nervousness of buying the right ring.

My fiancé and I had a fantastic experience at Austin & Blake in Southampton. From start to finish, the customer service was excellent, from the initial phone call and organising our visit, through to the warm welcome when we arrived. We were greeted into a lovely waiting area before being taken into a private office space where we could comfortably try on different wedding bands.

I managed to find a beautiful platinum wedding band with a slight curvature that fits perfectly alongside my engagement ring, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with my choice.

Kaushika, who helped us throughout the appointment, provided exceptional customer service. She was attentive, professional, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel easy, relaxed, and enjoyable.

One of the highlights is that Austin & Blake feels like a hidden gem. It’s not somewhere you’d necessarily stumble across on the high street, but it’s incredibly welcoming, professional, and offers an excellent selection of wedding bands to choose from.

Collected my gorgeous wedding rings today from the Meadow Hall store. We took Jeanette’s advice on style and sizing and my rings are just perfect! They fit perfectly with my antique engagement ring. Thanks so much Jeanette!
