I visited the Newcastle store with my husband and was served by the lovely Elisha. I was there to pick a new engagement ring for my 50th Birthday. Elisha was so patient and nothing was a problem. The other lovely ladies in the store also helped with my decision making.
I visited again on the 22nd December to collect the most amazing Lab Diamond ring and served again by Elisha. The ring was more than I could have imagined and the customer service on both appointments was first class.

From the very first meeting, Hazel at Austen & Blake was amazing! We were worried we would need to go to a few appointments and go check different jewellers, but within one simple meeting, Hazel completely understood what we were looking for and helped us design the perfect ring.

Her knowledge, patience, and attention to detail were second to none. She listened carefully, guided us through every option without any pressure. We had a specific idea in mind and she somehow created a ring better than we imagined!!!! You could immediately tell she truly cares about what she does and about getting it right for her clients.

What could have been a stressful process became exciting, reassuring, and genuinely special — all thanks to Hazel. We left feeling completely confident, comfortable, and certain that we had made the right choice.

If you’re considering Austen & Blake, ask for Hazel. She is an absolute credit to the company and made what should be a once-in-a-lifetime experience exactly that. We couldn’t recommend her highly enough.

Everyone at Austen & Blake were friendly and welcoming from my first visit. The website was easy to navigate and book an appointment to speak with a specialist as I had very little clue on engagement rings. During all of my appointments Jessica was extremely helpful, patient with me (again due to my lack of knowledge and knowing exactly what I wanted) and gave me a lot of options to help me find the perfect engagement ring. Couldn’t be happier with the end product and it arrived for collection a lot sooner than was first estimated. Thanks again.

We went to purchase an engagement ring and cannot fault the service from start to finish. Upon arrival, we were made to feel extremely welcome by Jess and were immediately put at ease. We were shown the rings that we had chosen and my partner had the chance to try them on, and was given advice on the fit etc... The ring itself is fantastic and my fiancée loves it!

Once we had purchased the ring, we were given excellent after service regarding the care of the ring. It arrived in store within a quick time frame and when we went to collect it, we were given excellent customer care again by Jess.

Overall, we are extremely happy with our purchase and cannot thank Jess enough for her fantastic help.

My husband planned a suprise with Jessica at the Newcastle store. Between them, they designed the most exquisite diamond ring. When Jess provided me with a jewellers loop and I read the inscription inside the ring, I was blown away. The time, trouble and attention to detail she went to to make this gift truly special was incredible. Tissues were provided! I'm so grateful. What a wonderful experience. We were looking for an eternity ring and I was so fussy as to what I wanted, I decided to go looking alone first to see what was out there. After visiting multiple shops I was losing hope until I found Austen & Blake in Newcastle. The shop was clean, inviting and the staff were very friendly. A very good start. I told Hazel what I was wanting and she brought me some rings to look at. I learnt so much about different styles, settings & the different qualities of diamonds, I was very impressed. it was a great discussion and she didn't talk "at me " which had happened in the other shops. We finally settled on a half eternity, 18 C, channel set, mined diamond -with an excellent quality stone. What I didn't realise at the time was the eternity rings I had been shown were actually not real diamonds, and they were examples for people to choose from. My actual ring was being made just for me, then shipped to my local store which was Liverpool. This made me so happy and I felt so special that my eternity ring had not been tried on previously by multiple people. Hazel was the lady who helped me from start to finish and she was just so lovely. I can't state how friendly she was and made me feel so special. I was offered a glass of bubbles too. This eternity ring was a big deal to me with a lot of meaning attached to it and I felt special from the moment I walked into the shop, till the moment I actually collected our purchase in Liverpool. Both when I went to choose the eternity ring, and when Richie & I went back together to purchase it, Hazel was amazing both times.
Aftercare has been superb too with free ring cleaning offered as well. Hazel is one of the most professional, efficient, helpful and lovely people I have met and she made the purchase of a very important piece of jewellery an extremely special event for me. I highly recommend shopping in this store, especially if Hazel is the lady to assist you in your purchase.

The staff are always pleasant and personable. The communication is excellent and the service is prompt. Once you understand that each piece is made to order, and therefore has a lead time before you receive your purchase, the process is very good. The staff take real care to understand your requirements and are friendly and efficient. Communication is good and timely. And arriving to pick up your order is done with a sense of 'special occasion'.

I really couldn’t have asked for a better experience when buying my now Fiancé’s engagement ring. The team at the Newcastle branch were spot on with their customer service and the communication is on point, which made it really easy when planning the logistics of the proposal. In anticipation of my 25th wedding anniversary, I started to explore Austen & Blake 12 months in advance. My wife has always wanted a diamond ring.
From the start I dealt with Jessica in the Newcastle store. Being a guy and having no clue about diamond rings, Jessica was a huge help with her advice, talking through all the diamond and gold types. Even though this was months before I was able to commit to the ring she was amazing to deal with. No sales type pushiness, just the personal touch to ensure I got it right.
Settled on, and ordered the ring. Presented it to my wife who was in tears with joy. The presentation box, certificate, insurance details and everything were very premium.
In the preceding months my wife had been on a fitness journey so we needed to get the ring resized. Again Jessica was so helpful.
