The moving truck with A to B Moving Ma broke down on the way to my new place. The movers called me immediately. Rented a U-Haul. Transferred everything themselves. Delivered my stuff three hours later but completely intact. No extra charge. Turned disaster into a minor inconvenience.
Recommended by a coworker. Didn't even check other companies. Just booked A to B Moving Ma. Coworker was right. Fast, careful, fair price. That's the last time i'll spend hours comparing quotes. Going straight to these guys next time.
Okay i'll be honest - i dropped a whole box of kitchen stuff down the stairs while using Movers in Cambridge, MA. My fault entirely. Glass everywhere. They stopped, helped me clean it up, didn't make me feel like an idiot about it, and then just carried on like it hadn't happened.
One of the movers in Cambridge noticed a faint gas smell near the stove before they disconnected it. Mentioned it to me, suggested i call the building. Turned out to be a loose fitting that maintenance fixed same day. That had nothing to do with moving furniture but i'm glad someone was paying attention.
Didn't expect much, but the movers in cambrige made this go better than i had any richt to hope for! I ran out of bubble wrap halfway through and one of them noticed befor i did - came back with moving blankets and wrapped the fragile stuff without me asking. That alone saved me from what coulda been a bad situation. Later on i had no idea where i wanted the furniture in the new place and they just waited while i figured it out. No sighing, no rush. That kind of patience is not something i expected to be grateful for, but here we are.
