Assa Abloy is HORRIBLE!!!

We are a newly opened hospitality venue. The equipment chosen by our operating group is Assa Abloy. I wouldn't secure my dog house with this crap equipment that they sell. And customer support......there is none. Stay FAR, FAR away from this company. Horrible business.

Poor payers but great reliable products

Great products and really reliable as I used them for over 20 years
Customer services very good too.
But asking them to pay your bill!!!!!
Be prerpared for a long wait.
This company is a massive multinational but can't pay a measley few hundred quid on time.

Horrible customer service - if anything happen to the over-priced equipment you will not get any help. Stay away from this unprofessional firm.

Beware if you enter into a contract with this company

Beware if you enter into a contract with this company they state in their terms that you have to give a 90 day notice period otherwise the contract rolls on and they enforce it without a qualm. this means you have to remember 90 days before. Either get them to write it out or serve notice as soon as you take out the contract

Terrible

Terrible just plain terrible....technician came to fix sliding glass door sensor. Was billed for 2.75 hours of work when it took 15 minutes and he went out to his van the rest of the time. Our company has vendors sign in which shows the 15 mins. Contacted the company with the sign in sheet and they said well his digital record shows he was at the property....we also received a $30 fee for him to use his screwdriver.....what a joke

NO LOCKS ARE BETTER THAN THIS COMPANY

This has got to be the worst company I have ever dealt with. That may not even be true because once you have purchased their products you will never be able to deal with them again. I installed 35 locks at a small lodge for an absorbent amount of money and almost immediately they started to fail. Even under warranty you have to pay for the techs to come as well as put them into a hotel for free. I ended up installing the new locks myself. The key card encoder fails time and time again. Good luck trying to reach anyone in the tech support division because that s nearly impossible. If by some miraculous miracle you do get tech support be prepared to pay $180 per hour for a phone call. Their keys do not allow you to purchase any other brand than theirs as well. If I could go back in time I would never ever consider Assa Abbloy. Steer as far away as you can from this company.

I can't say enough bad things about…

I can't say enough bad things about this company or product. Customer Service is extremely unhelpful unless you buy into the customer support club for a ridiculous rates. Batteries have to be replaced every 6 month to ensure you can get into your home. I had 3 systems installed and the installer damaged existing parts and they refused to pay for the damages. Strongly recommend running in the other direction.

Follow up on Assa Abloy

Follow up on this. I was conacted by the sales team who really sympathized with the issues and problems we had. Tried to tell us that they would fix it and here we are two months later have had zero communications back from Assa Abloy. Their key cards are twice as expensive than any other brand because they put in something proprietary to stop you from buying other RFID keys. Its like a printer company luring you to buying a very cheap printer and then making it up in expensive toner sales. Again this company does not have any moral standards nor any qualms about not helping a customer even when they make mistakes. I would recommend you look at Kaba locks or Onity when looking to buy electronic locks.

Assa Abloy has said this review is for the wrong company - Incorrect I have a receipt of payment for over50 k to prove that iit is them Not only that we had a complete breakdown of the system one week alter a year and they said they do not recognize us as a customer. $350 just for a visit

My contractor had them come out to give an estimate for a sliding glass door repair. They were there for less than an hour. They charged $350 for the visit- didn't fix anything. Ended up going with DH Pace to fix the door for less.

Købte 2 stk Code handle til mine…

Købte 2 stk Code handle til mine terrassedøren, men helt fra starten af var disse defekte. De åbner kun sporadisk selvom man trykker den korrekte kode. Så klagede jeg min sag herinde og Assa Abloy var faktisk hurtige og servicemindede og skiftede håndtagene hurtigt uden regning. Men hvad tror i så der er sket nu? Ja de nye håndtag har samme fejl! De virkede ok til at begynde med, men hurtigt begyndte de ikke at åbne efter korrekt kode igen, nu er det så slemt at de slet ikke åbner. Øv og atter øv...

Virkelig dårlig service

D. 16/2 havde jeg stormskade på 3 af mine 8 porte her på gården. Skaden blev anmeldt til forsikringen som hurtigt anerkendte skaden. Herefter gav jeg ordren til ASSA ABLOY. Efter flere besøg og leverancer, hvoraf pap lå og flød alle vegne, meddelte ASSA ABLOY at komponenterne var i restordre. Dette betød at mine porte ikke kunne lukkes. D. 3/6, ALTSÅ EFTER 4 MÅNEDER, blev arbejdet så færdiggjort. Efter nogen tid henvendte jeg mig fordi affaldet fra reparationen stadig lå på gården. Ved 3. henvendelse fik jeg at vide, at dette ikke var med i deres tilbud. De kunne godt hente affaldet mod betaling. Det er sgu flot når der er tale om en forsikringssag der er afsluttet.

Fik i 2013 installeret et håndtag med…

Fik i 2013 installeret et håndtag med kode på min terrassedør. Efter 3 år virkede koden ikke mere , og det var ikke batteriet, så jeg var nødt til at købe et nyt håndtag. Var naiv nok til at købe et nyt assa abloy håndtag med kode, og nu har jeg så samme problem igen. Koden virker ikke mere. Fanme træls. Det er jo ikke billigt sådan et håndtag.

Købte og fik installeret en branddør…

Købte og fik installeret en branddør kr. 100.000, som Assa Abloy installerede.
Ved strømsvigt viste det sig at døren ikke var aflåst, og der var således fri adgang til lokalerne.
Ved reklamation herfor, hvor Assa Abloy ikke kunne lave problemet, fremsender de en regning på 2300 kr + moms.

Talk about the run around with dead…

Talk about the run around with dead ends. The technical help non existing, their products not bad, but if you need help with it a different story. Go to this vendor or this one maybe that one and you could never get the support you need or buy parts etc. Even if you e-mail the technician they don't respond or care....I will never recommend this product due to the support issues,

WARNING - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

We purchased a Smart Home Alarm from Yale for two reasons: 1) it had a good rating on which?; and 2) it was advertised with installation provided by on of Yale's Smart Security Partners.

The first partner, Dean Atkinson (Access Security Solutions) was scheduled for 22 November, 12:00 - 14:00. He didn't show-up and didn't phone to explain why or to rearrange the appointment.

We phoned Yale's Helpline and were told that a Matthew would contact us about a new engineer. Three days later we received an email from Matthew Bond (Customer Support Team Leader). He apologised and offered us an additional accessory for the inconvenience. He also said that another engineer would contact us to arrange and installation.

The second partner, Colin Thomas (The Key Master Locksmiths LTD) was scheduled for 4 December, 8:00 - 11:00. He didn't show-up and didn't phone to explain why or to rearrange the appointment.

We phoned Yale's Helpline again on 4 December and were told that our issue would be marked 'urgent' and someone would contact us soon. Nothing later that day. We phoned again on 5 December and were told someone would contact on the same day. Nothing.

We phoned again today to be told that our money had been refunded and we would have to find someone to install the system on our own. At present, we have received no refund from Yale--and no additional accessory for the inconvenience.

It seems suspicious that Yale (and its global parent company ASSA ABLOY) have no engineers to install their products in London, yet they are willing to charge £220 and waste customers time by having them wait at home for engineers who never arrive. It reeks of a scam!!!

Avoid like the plague

The most expensive money gabbing (borderline thievery) service provider out there in my opinion. Charged £260+ for a battery that is available literally anywhere else for around £50 and dispite having a SLA in place charged a further £187 for the two minute job of fitting it. Actually had the nerve to say these where reduced costs because of the SLA. Last contract or repair they get here. Avoid like the plague
