I am confused
Answer me one question. I see your ad on TV showing dogs with no food etc. If you guys are serious about their welfare, why your CEO takes million dollar salary. If he really is attached to the cause, he should not take more than let say 4 or 5 times of average salary in USA. Please hire me and I will do better job than current ceo in 250k annual salary.
I'm not donating again
I donated to this organization twice, and I'm suddenly getting spam mail and email from other pet donation companies asking me to donate as well. I am also getting spam mail from ASPCA.
My dog ate a prescription pill…
My dog ate a prescription pill (hydroxychloroquine). I called ASPCA toxic hotline and, after identifying the medication, was put on hold for over 40 minutes. If it had been a serious issue I suspect my dog would have died during the wait. They then charged me $150 Canadian. A total rip off. The dog was fine after vomiting. I wish I had been pragmatic and simply googled the issue.

My dog ingested an unknown pill dropped…
My dog ingested an unknown pill dropped on the bathroom floor, after giving MY medical history and All of the medications and dosages twice, once I was transferred they requested it a third time. Instead of wasting my time and asking for 110.00 they should have just directed me to the nearest animal er to have vomiting induced immediately. Tired sounding, disinterested employees.
Can't get off mailing list
My mom was a donor. She passed away over a year ago. I can't get off their mailing list no matter what I've tried. I have sent letters, returned mailed, sent emails , and phone call all these requesting to be removed. I even paid a fee to the national do not mail list. I still get request for donations about every two weeks. I feel this is harassment. This has been going on over a year.
Truly Animal Heroes
I feel so fortunate for having found the ASPCA clinic in Miami, that I've been thanking God every day since my visit with Mama, for having guided me to such an amazing resource, when I was desperately in need of help for a suffering and dying cat. From the second that we walked in, I could tell that Mama and I were in the best hands possible. The staff at the reception desk were warm, sweet, and made me feel very welcome and safe. Karen, known as "K", who assisted me at check in and check out, is a beautiful person. She was positive, supportive, and extremely kind in every way!! The veterinarian and her assistant were also amazingly professional and sweet. They are all true examples of human kindness, and I'm extremely grateful to them.
Absolutely disgusting company
Absolutely disgusting company. Preying on people and their love for animals. Scam! Pockets all the money
This company is nothing but full of scammers and thieves that pocketing all the donations
You can't improve a company that their intentions are scamming and ripping people off
This company sucks
This company sucks. They don’t give a crap about dogs starving. I reported 2 dogs chained and slowly starving and was told to call animal control in that area. ASPCA is getting rich off their commercials and they do nothing to help animals reported to them. Was told ASPCA isn’t in that area. God don’t like ugly.
Denied completely legitimate claim
My dog had a completely legitimate illness, and they denied my claim in its entirety, without explanation. My daughters have Embrace and haven't had any issues. Bye, Bye ASPCA! Complete waste of money...I would give them zero stars, if I could. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS INSURANCE!
Call as I was afraid my dog ingested rat poison
Call as I was afraid my dog ingested a small amount of Just one Bite II rat poison. I provided the history, they said they could hlep and gladly took my $95 charge on my credit card to get a case number for the emergency vet. Once the vet called, ASPCA could not give specific treatment plans because I did not have the package as to what was given. I disclosed on the initial call I no longer had the package, but knew the exact product and the main ingredient. They provided treatment for a completely different product that causes neuro issues and not an anticoagulant issue as the main ingredient in Just one Bite II. Terrible they said they could help, took our money and then did not help.
Ridiculous business of collecting money…
Ridiculous business collecting money for unknown causes. They projected the images of the dogs sitting on the sun from probably all over the world… saying they need 3000 donors within next 30 days. Why? What is your business plan and how are you planning to find those animals and feed them if build a shelter or what???
This is a scam group praying on…
This is a scam group praying on people’s empathy for animals. The CEO makes 1.2 million plus a year! Save your money for a better cause!
Offensive music and policies.
They play Christmas songs about the baby Jesus Christ during their commercials, which is very offensive. Also, around the year 2000, I adopted an adult dog, but had to return it because they insisted on entering my home and checking every room for the dog's safety. I refused (thankfully they returned the $200 fee).

Everything is hard!
Every time I needed anything done, I had to call their sales line. I don't even know why they offer changes through the app when that is not a valid way for them to see the changes. Adding pets is a nightmare and I ended up paying double because they set up the process to be very confusing. This company just wants to take your money so they will make everything confusing and difficult (as insurance companies do). I have never felt that I was in good hands with this company but I can't leave now because I'm worried that if I switch, all my claims will get denied as it will be related to some preexisting condition. The customer hotline people are friendly and helpful. They have gotten me through a lot of these misunderstandings. ASPCA as a whole is just awful. Do not listen to the website's reviews. Do another one.
The CEO salary and compensation is extremely to high
The CEO salary and compensation is extremely to high along with the other executives and NOT enough going to the animals . I believe that you should give pet food so it will go directly to the animals and NOT money that will be going to the greedy executives.
I watch the ASPCA commercials with a…
I watch the ASPCA commercials with a broken heart and wanted to make the monthly donation until I read the reviews. The CEO makes $1,000,000 a year. High salaries and benefits. Where are the volunteers? Because of the previous reviews I have chosen to make my donation to a local shelter. I have asked family and friends to look at the ASPCA reviews. Also, ASPCA does NOT have a review section on their website. This heartbreaking news makes me wonder why they are allowed to make those commercials.

Do not give them your credit card number. It is very difficult to stop them from charging you.
