A well-needed service
Dear Snoots and to whom it may concern,
I would just like to say as a first-time customer, an overprotective Cat daddy's and I have anxiety issues at the best of times, the signing up was simple, stress-free and straightforward, booking was easy and with a triage phone call to check and assess the care needed and urgency of the situation. Was so helpful and gave me peace of mind the person I spoke to was knowledgeable, kind, considerate and even understood my stressed out ramblings. Completely calming me down, they were efficient and booked my cat in the very next day.
Upon on first arrival, I was pleased with how quiet and clean the area was, the staff were friendly and attentive, the initial assessment was clear and reassuring. The service was quick and efficient meaning minimal stress for our cat.
Thank you Snoots,
We definitely recommend your well needed service.
The Matthews Clan.
My dogs dental treatment
My dog is having dental treatment with Snoots and he has just had his teeth cleaned and X-rays taken. He will need extractions soon. The contact from the team has been exceptional, an email enquiring how he is doing after his aesthetic and saying if I had any concerns or questions to get in touch. No other vets have been so considerate or shown such aftercare. Would highly recommend them. I am confident in the care he will receive.

No availability even on emergencies (even during the hours and days they’re open) - they keep telling me to contact Veteris (their emergency “partner vet” that charges separate fees) - so what’s the point paying £360 a year?
Very happy with the service, reasonable pricing and no surprise costs
Very happy with the service

Absolutely love this concept but it doesn't quite work if further investigations are needed.
I have 2 dogs and they're always at the vets for something or other so financially, it works. The issue I have is that I live in South East London and if my dogs require bloods or scans, we need to get to North London! It's a 4-8 hour round trip depending on if I have to wait or can go home!!! They should link with a south London practice for the scans!
Olivia at Forest Hill is great.

I am extremely disappointed with the service we received. My kitten was unwell with vomiting and diarrhoea and needed urgent medical attention during normal working hours ,it was not a weekend or late at night. Instead of being seen at our usual practice, we were given a phone number and told it would cost £150 just for a consultation at a hospital 50 minutes away, with additional charges for treatment.
This felt completely unreasonable. We took Marshmallow to a local clinic instead, where he was examined, given injections, prescribed medication, and not hospitalised all for £130 in total.
I am paying £33 per month, yet when we genuinely needed help, we were redirected elsewhere at a much higher cost. Very disappointing experience and poor value for money. I would not recommend this service based on our experience.
I will be leaving honest feedback reflecting our experience, as I believe other pet owners should be aware.
I wouldn't recommend it
I have done an anual plan with Snoots, but I was really disapointed witht he quality of care from the vets and to be fair the receptionist from Islington is quite rude as well. I have many things to say about this almost 1y of service. I'll start from the medical error when I started my policy with them.
I took my dog to the vet because she was having abdominal pain. They were very helpful and booked her urgently for the same day, I was very greatful for that. I saw the vet and I really liked her. She was lovely, she was suspecious of pancreatitis. She said that would give her Normorphine and anti-emetics to give some relief and if she didn't get better in 48hs-72hs to come again so then she would do a blood test to confirm pancreatitis. As ususal, I noticed afterwards that the vets usually avoid at all cost to do any investigation (lab, X-ray, US), when they see your dog, despite this being included in the policy. They want to minimise the cost which I understand, but for that you need to have very experience clinicians which unfortunately Snots don't have. They only have recent graduate vets with don't have much experience or confidence and they usually leave the pratice after a period of time so you usually see a new vet every time. Going back to her consultation. At that point, we took my dog home. She was much worse in the next 24hs, vomiting non stopping, also couldn't be awake. Since no improvement at the evenning we took her to the emergency vets that they advice Veteris which is amazing by the way. When I was parking the car in front of the emergency clinic, the vet from Snoots from the day before called to say that she has given 10x time the dose that should have given of morphine to my dog! She said that contact the manufactire of the med and that usually don't cause problems, but she was calling to check if everything was ok, but only 24hs later! I'm a doctor and I know ecxately that morphine can cause respiratory depression and all the sympotms that she had on the following 24hs after we went to Snoots. She apoligise, but she should have called earlier. My first though was ok, I'm also a medical professional and mistakes can happen. We decided to be understandble about it and give another chance. However, we were surprised to see there is no double checking at all in Snoots. The vet draw the drugs from the veil and inject into your dog, there is no second person to check if the drug is correct, not expired and if the dose on the seringe that is going to be injected is correct which is routine in Hospital. As my dog had to stay overnight, we paid for blood tests to check for pancreatitis and also did an US. In the end the bill was 1,500 for this because of Snoots error.
Later I went to snoots because she was limping. She had a previous patela surgery many years ago. I was afraid that she a luxation again, since she couldn't put her feet on the floor. It was not easy to book her in this time. I was informed that I had to look on the app and it would be almost 2w to be seen. After complaining on the whatsapp, I spoke with the manager and they found an early slot 2 days later which was ok. Initially they want to treat her by whatsapp with just a video from her and given NSAIDs without seing her, even though I said about her previous intervention. Well I went to take her to the vet and this was not really hepful to be honest. The young vet looked a bit lost. She was unsure if the patella was in place or if the had a ligament rupture. She said let's prescribed NSAIDs and see if gets better. I asked for a CXR, she was not very keen but after pushing she said if you want you can have one. I went to ask the receptionist how to book the CXR. She was very unhelpful and rude and said that I need to call the clinic X about it, they don't do it here and I need to get in conatct with them. To be honest, I was so upset and disapointed this time that I decided not to come back.
I went to another vet with more experience who has done a proper examination on her. Noticed that her patela was no luxated. He also has requested an CXR and got the correct diagnose of arthritis.
After all of this to be honest in case of clinical need, I'm uncertain if I would go or trust them again. I'm even afraid of going for the teeth cleaning that is included on my annual policy.
Later I asked for the worm and flea meds to be prescribed since I was still on their anual policy. I don't leave close by, but despite asking for both and receiving confirmation that this was done on arrival there only worm treatment was done as they wanted to sell it. No Advocate prescribed. Really disapointed.
In summary, I think the ideia of Snoots was very promissing, but unfortuntaely it does not work. I belive cost contrains are probably making them have more dogs that they can have, less experience vets and avoiding doing investigations. I won't be reneawing my policy next year.
Excellent staff
Excellent staff, friendly. Got appointment on time. Went for routine vaccine, vet spotted lump, did small test on the same day, hopefully it will be ok. Took his time explained everything. Definately would recommend them and use them again. Unlike traditional vets the test was included. Very grateful. Thankyou.
Snoots is quick to upsell products to frightened owners
On two separate occasions, Snoots has failed to provide timely and appropriate care for my dog.
The first incident involved a stomach ulcer. I raised a concern early on and suggested a preventive approach based on my own research and knowledge, but I was dismissed and made to feel absurd for mentioning it. Six months later, my dog developed another ulcer. The treatment cost hundreds of pounds, and this time they recommended exactly the same preventive measure I had initially proposed. When I reminded them of this, they offered a lengthy, unscientific explanation for why they had previously disagreed, but did not acknowledge or apologise for their mistake.
On the second occasion, they recommended Pro-Kolin for an acute colitis flare-up. I had to push very aggressively for any sort of treatment. Eventually, they prescribed just five days’ worth of steroids, which was entirely inadequate. I sought a second opinion and was prescribed an appropriate dose, which finally brought her flare-up under control. As her condition began to improve, the UTI she had been fighting off became significantly worse. Her urine started to resemble red wine, clearly indicating the presence of a substantial amount of blood.
Despite this, they first attempted to upsell me a product that has only been shown to prevent UTIs in cats, not dogs. When I questioned this, they confused the small intestine with the large intestine. They also tried to sell me unnecessary and very expensive drugs instead of prescribing appropriate antibiotics.
When I challenged their reasoning (I have a PhD in a bioscience), they became defensive rather than receptive. I also pointed out that my dog was showing clear signs of colitis and urinary tract pain, yet at no point had they offered a painkiller. This demonstrated not only a failure to ensure her well-being but also a lack of basic empathy or recognition that she was in pain.
Eventually, they misdiagnosed her, but by that point I had obtained a second opinion and the correct medication elsewhere. By then, my dog had lost over 20% of her body weight and could barely walk for more than three or four minutes. Before the flare-up, she was strong, energetic, and could walk for days on end. We regularly went on weekend hikes together.
Honestly such a lovely experience
Honestly such a lovely experience. The team were warm and reassuring from the minute we walked in and the place is spotless which instantly helped me relax. It was our first time there so I was definitely a bit anxious but they talked us through everything and genuinely made Biscuit and I feel looked after. Would definitely recommend.

In principal it's brilliant. Cost effective. Nice vets. But getting an appointment is challenging. My dog has an ear infection and I can't get in front of a vet for 5-6 days. I can't wait that long. I can't see myself renewing at the end of the term only because of this.
Highly recommend Snoots
Highly recommend Snoots. Their business model is a life saver for those of us that need to get the vets fairly regularly. Their customer care Is second to none and the vets are exceptional.
Professional, caring, and thorough veterinary team
Snoots have been fantastic with my cat’s dental scaling and follow-up for suspected FORL. The team are professional, caring, and very thorough - I felt my cat was in safe hands throughout. The only downside was having to wait from June until September for the follow-up, but the quality of care more than made up for it. Highly recommended!

The idea is good and will appeal to a lot of people. However, people in my situation, with ageing and sick pets, it isn't good at all! As their brand becomes more popular with ever increasing number of members, it is practically impossible now to book an appointment before a week which leaves me with no other choice than to book him quickly to another vet. Kinds of cancel any other benefit don't you think?
Now, my pets were taken good care of and most vets were nice and professionals although a couple others need to learn a bit more manners.
Terrible Care and Customer Service – Don't Trust the buzz
I am extremely disappointed with the care my dog received at this clinic. He has been suffering from a severe skin condition, and despite two visits, the only advice given was to use a dandruff shampoo. He was also prescribed steroids for the condition, which I stopped after he started shaking (advised by the vet) - but no one ever followed up to check on him.
I also raised concern about a growing lump on his neck, but nothing was done to investigate it. During my last visit, I was asking questions about my dog’s health, and the vet rushed me out, saying “I don’t know, I have another patient.” I left feeling dismissed, unheard, and extremely worried.
On top of this, my dog hasn’t received his kennel cough vaccine, which is part of the plan I pay for, leaving me unsure about the potential health impact.
The customer service at this clinic is terrible. Staff appear dismissive, communication is poor, and I feel that my concerns were not taken seriously at any point. Most of the reviews on Trustpilot are obviously not organic and do not reflect the real experience of paying customers.
I trust and pay for professional veterinary care, but this clinic has failed completely in both treatment and service. I hope others read this and reconsider before trusting this clinic with their pets.
A Game-Changer in Vet Care
We’ve just been to our first consultation at Snoots, and even if I wrote an extensive essay, I wouldn't be able to fully do justice to how incredible the experience was.
From the moment we walked in, we were met with kindness, patience, and professionalism. Dr. Hanna and Deisa were outstanding - so welcoming, gentle, and thorough. Nothing felt rushed, pushed or cold. We were given all the time, attention, and care we needed. My wife, I, and our furry boys left feeling not just looked after, but genuinely cared for.
Since moving to the UK, we've been searching for a veterinary practice that truly feels right. Every single place we'd been to before had something that, at best, didn't quite sit right with us. But this time, we left with a sense of relief and trust that we hadn't felt before. Honestly, I got teary-eyed on the drive home thinking about how stressful vet visits have been in the past, and what a gift it is to have found a place like this. I truly hope this incredibly high standard remains in future appointments, but so far, the first impression was absolutely impeccable.
I love their business model proposition and ambition to disrupt a market that is in much need and set in its ways. It's clear this isn't just another regular vet business, but a practice truly dedicated and designed to pets and their families. However, it's important to set the expectations right and that pet owners understand that they are a primary care practice for members, not an emergency service nor a pet insurance provider. They're setting a new standard for compassionate, humane, and modern veterinary care. I'm confident they will continue to grow and spread throughout London - and hopefully beyond.
If I had one wish, it would be that I had found them sooner.
Thank you to all the Snoots team for such a wonderful experience, you deserve all success in the world!

Excellent personalised service from Snoots
I contacted Snoots to find out about this service and decidedly to sign up. It was all very simple and straightforward, and when I did have some queries they were quickly answered by a real person who couldn’t have been more helpful.
Exceptional Care at Snoots Vet Clinic!
I am thrilled to share my experience at Snoots Vet Clinic! Sofia and Rachel are truly amazing; their dedication and compassion for the animals are unmatched.
During our recent visit, we unfortunately ran 30 minutes late, but even though the clinic was closing, they patiently waited for us and provided a thorough assessment of our pet. Their professionalism and kindness made a stressful situation much easier to handle.
I truly believe that Sofia and Rachel are the best vets out there! Thank you, Snoots Vet Clinic, for your outstanding care. We feel so fortunate to have you in our corner.
