Buyer beware, this business is not trustworthy
Sold a so called period art deco table lamp which was clearly a mishmash of old and new parts. Lamp arrived with broken bulb holder so I had this repaired at my own expense, asked for help in the form of some kind of recompense but despite numerous email there has been no contact, shocking customer service, avoid at all costs
The bed arrived and I have to say it looks even better in reality. It's quite light for walnut, such a rich caramelly gold and with the heavy figuring it actually blends quite well with the birdseye maple of the wardrobe. I'm really, really pleased with it and eager for the delivery of my mattress so that I can stop sleeping on the floor!
Thank you again for all your help, and I know Ben and I will enjoy sleeping in this wonderful piece of art.
Do not buy from these people. The ornament they sent was smashed. I sent them photos and multiple emails. Zero response. Could not claim from courier company as it has to be filed by the sender. A really dreadful experience. Money wasted. Soulless and I hope their business collapses so that other customers not suffer a similar fate as me
Trading as artdecoworld.co.uk and deco-world.co.uk (formerly a shop in Bideford Devon "Deco World" now closed). Very poor customer focus and service. Having purchased an expensive item was awkward in arranging a delivery date: more to suit them than me: "we're not Amazon"- no, but you still need to be helpful! Damaged on delivery (acknowledged by their appointed courier), but co. refused to acknowledge it. Shame, as would have bought more items. Not now.
