Two people arrived and took plywood straight into the garage for me great service

The boards arrived promptly and matched exactly what I had ordered. They were brand new and in perfect shape.

Weeks without delivery, very dissapointing

Haven’t received my lintel as of yet. No one answers the phone. All I get back is emails saying they will let me no when it’s coming. On purchase it said 5-7 days and my job is running well over now because of this. Stay well clear if you like to get jobs finished

Product as described arrived in good condition and fast delivery

Ordered 16th November, the timbers arrived in the leadtime shown, however after a week of placing the order and chasing, calling multiple times with nobody answering and being unresponsive to emails I had to source the materials locally as they were not delivered in the 2-3 business days shown on the website. I was then contacted Monday 24th, after I needed the materials and was told they were trying to arrange delivery that week. I told them they were not needed as they were not delivered on time and would receive a refund in 3-5 business days on the 25th November. Still no sign of a refund, shame as i had seen some good reviews but will not be using again.

Wrong lintel delivered so had it had to go back . No correspondence from Armstrong since even though I've phoned numerous times and emailed them .

Overpriced. It appears that this outfit is a middle man an orders directly from the local building merchant which would have delivered for free, Ordering through Cheshire armstrong means that I had to pay 60 pound postage and higher prices.
I ordered Kingspan TF70 floor insulation then found out thatTfF70, TW55 and TP10 contain the same properties.Take my advise take the time and phone round local building merchants to see if they stock the items you require.
Items did arrive but late, I did get a small refund as a gesture of goodwill and then the items were damaged on delivery, this wasn’t Cheshire armstrong fault but the delivery driver of the local merchant. Luckily the building merchant replaced the items quickly or I would have been waiting a while for refund. I could have gone to wicks and then MKM building supplies and saved 3 figures.

Absolutely rubbish service...don't bother with them! If I could give less than 1 star I would!! Problems from start to finish. As soon as they had my money they didn't bother answering the phone. SO frustrating. I left numerous voice messages, emailed them as I needed an urgent update on delivery and had questions about whether they would be able to deliver at all having watched their video on the delivery process. I had a landscaper lined up for the original delivery date which didn't happen. Turns out they hadn't processed the order to the manufacturer until 4 days after I placed it and the delivery wait is "working days" so doesn't include the weekend which was not explained to me when I originally spoke to them and made the order where I stressed I needed it for the Friday (a week after I placed the order). I spent the whole of yesterday trying to contact them and they still haven't got back to me. I only know the delivery date now (next Wednesday) because the manufacturer Bowland Stone rang me just before 5pm yesterday. They were brilliant and gave me a direct contact number for them which I used this morning to confirm the delivery day...such a relief to be able to get through to someone immediately who was reasonable and efficient.What on earth has happened to customer service these days!? If possible to order directly from that company would definitely recommend that route and cut out Armstrong Cheshire all together!!!
