This company are pure and simple scammers I placed my order on the 12th of February and paid for 24 hour tracked delivery and after many unanswered phone calls I got through to a woman who said she would phone me back with more information regarding my order but I have not received any phone call and my emails have gone unanswered this is a week after I paid for my order.AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS

I think aquarterof is a Scam because you cannot contact them!!

Bought a whopping huge jar of penny sweets for partners xmas, personalised image for label. What arrived was fab, looked great, a year bbe date so nice and fresh and better half been tucking in most days, carrying it around with him like a big kid!
One thing that concerns me tho, which is why lost a star is that they advertise a 5 star hygiene rating, whereas if you check online it is waiting inspection. Sweet shops don't require this.. so why fib?

Great service as usual, but disappointed in the changes made to some of the sweets. Liquorice cream rock is now totally different, the liquorice and cream filling included. It tastes like a poor substitute thanks to the new recipe which includes coconut oil for some reason, and liquorice root extract as opposed to liquorice extract. I never thought they would change, they're absolute favourites. This current recipe is definitely not liquorice cream rock! And the toffee bonbons now include coconut oil which overpowers the toffee taste to a degree. I mean, I do like coconut flavoured things when they're supposed to be coconut flavoured, but this is toffee, and liquorice as previously mentioned! Coconut oil is appearing more frequently on ingredients lists. I don't know why it's taking over suddenly. Thankfully the liquorice fruit flowers still retain that traditional liquorice taste and texture, and the filling is yummy as ever too, but for how long? I love A Quarter Of, an amazing place to shop. I'm just sad about these inferior changes.

Someone calling themselves Ben is using their aquarterof business email address to scam people on other sites, I've reported this to aquarterof but they don't seem interested, so presuming they support their employees scamming others in work time

I've used AQO for over a decade now, and just received my latest order. It arrived at a great time, I had a terrible day and it really lifted my spirits.

I always order milk bottles, by far my favourite sweet and they are a real treat.

My only criticism is that you stopped stocking Barrats Milk Teeth. I loved those big jars, too.

Blackjacks aren’t the real deal, the ones from my local sweetshop have tons more flavour

I've been using this company for over a decade. I've always been impressed by how fast they deliver. They made a mistake with my order this week but they offered a refund or the right items sent out first class. Lovely service, prompt response! A sweet shop you can trust.

I would rate 0 stars if I could!
Bucket of sweets had the wrong label on: correct sweets- wrong labels, ingredients & best before date.
Understand that mistakes can be made, rang customer services for a replacement. I explained that my daughter has a severe anaphylaxis causing allergy & this concerned me as I don’t know if it’s a re-used bucket, the correct ingredients, or correct BBE date.
She stated that they had new staff, no apology, dismissive, told me Id have to return it if I wanted a refund. I refused this but a refund was eventually agreed to. Completely put me off & I now have to bin them.
Ordered four other packs of sweets, one has a very short best before (January 2024) was told that this is fine! The others are March 2024/April 2024, June 2025. One of the other bags looks mucky, very off putting. I may have to bin it all.
I had a similar problem last year when the wrong items were delivered & I had a customer service agent tell me that I had to pay postage for the correct items- I thought that was an isolated incident, sadly not!
I have ordered from you for many years but I wont be ordering from you again.

Ordered a large personalised jar of handmade sweets for my son, along with many other sweets that I remembered from my childhood. All arrived in good time , and the ones we have tasted so far have been delicious. Also loved the customer service, particularly a lady called Louise who took the trouble to answer an email regarding a sweet I used to love as a child. She enclosed a trial packet in my order of something similar, which, while not quite the same , was a lovely touch. Also love the quirky emails from the founder of the company, enclosing lots of memory provoking literature and pictures of not only sweets, but old toys and pop a point pencils, First digital watches etc. Also received a copy of the first whizzer and chips comic. Amazing.

placed an order late Wednesday afternoon , following the £30 order gets free next day delivery as I was home on the Friday and the sweets were for young and old at our street party for the Coronation.
The company sent an email.on Thursday saying 'shipped' but FedEx did not actually get it until 3.45 on Friday afternoon.
Advertised as fast service, in reality... a snails pace.
Ignore the promises on the website and maybe go elsewhere.

It's a shame they use multipack bars that are available from Tesco or the such which are not for resale use and is clearly stated on the individual bars in the box. Why not used genuine supply for resale bars? Otherwise it tastes like chocolate.

These sweets are amazing. Proper old school from back in the day. My order came within a few days. Very efficient and easy communication. The packaging is also brilliant, as done with a comic style. 10/10 from me, and will definitely be ordering again.

You can find sweets here, that you may not be able to find at your corner store.
The product is sent quickly and efficiently. They respond to emails quickly.
I see some people having an issue with the taste of sweets they buy here But remember they are NOT a manufacturer, they are a shop

The strawberry and cream had no taste at all the acid drops were to sour the lemenade sweets were to hard also had no taste the cherry cola bottles were ok and the apple and custard were also ok none off the sweets were worth the money and i couldnt recomend them to any body

I had to contact them to change my order and they dealt with it very well and quickly. Very good.

Fantastic choice of traditional sweets from an on line shop. In less than 24 hours my order arrived, very good communication and FedEx was used for delivery. Such a prompt service! Go on and have a look at the online shop! 😍

My Wife purchased over £30.00 worth of sweets from them as a welcome home gift for me after several weeks in hospital, amongst them were %00g of buttermints and 500G of mint humbugs, The buttermints are the same shape, the same taste and the same soft chewy centres as the Mint humbugs, if it tastes like a mint humbug, looks like a mint humbug then guess what? They are certainly not Buttermints, Buttermints don't have stripes and chewy centres, Humbugs do. My wife contacted them and pointed this out and they were not the slightest bit interested, fobbing her off with a statement that they use the same mold for the Buttermints, totally ignoring the fact they are striped and brown with chewy centers, perhaps they need to look up a recipe for Buttermints and while they are at it, do a course on how to talk to customers so they don't just do one order and never come back!
