Aquability have lived up to their promise

I must say Aquability have lived up to their promise. I am so pleased with my new walk-in shower and so glad to be independent again. Mark their installer, was absolutely amazing and made it all look so easy. I also thought the 3 team approach Aquability have adopted; delivery, instal and collection teams worked really well. Thanks again guys and I would happily recommend you.

EXCELLENT WORKMANSHIP

Couldn't have gone any better from the Sales Rep visit to the installation of walk in shower (removal of bath), new toilet, sink and electric shower. Simon the rep explained arrival of goods, installation and payment information very well and my husband and I did not feel 'pressured' to buy. We are so pleased that we did buy as it was completed ahead of quoted time, everything delivered on a Monday, Danny, Ethan and Leyton the electrician arrived early Wednesday morning (date at our request) and didn't stop working all day until installation completed. Minimum fuss, just got on with the job and arranged same day pick up for the rubbish. All staff extremely polite, well mannered and explained the workings before they left. Everything was tidied up after the installation with one of the guys hoovering the staircase even though worksheets had covered the carpet whilst they were up and down the stairs. A job well done and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this firm. Thank you - Mr & Mrs Carver Nottingham

A bit of independence given back

We found Aquability extremely efficient throughout the whole process of installing my lovely Easy Access shower. The equipment was delivered a few days before installation but we were notified of this beforehand. Installation day arrived and as promised Mark was at our home at 8am ready to start work. He worked relentless and certainly went the extra mile to make us happy 😊. We love our new shower and it's great being able to shower safely. We found the whole process with Aquability faultless from beginning to end and would certainly recommend the company to anyone searching for the right place to make what is a major decision to get the job done quickly and efficiently. Showering has now become a pleasurable experience again, thanks to Aquability.

The whole experience from the original…contact has been has been

The whole experience from the original rep's visit to delivery and installation has been first class. I ordered the Ultimate Walk-in Shower Bath with the Hi-lift seat. This was delivered very quickly, sooner than had been expected. Mike the fitter, arrived before it, very professional in all he had to do. He worked solidly from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm, some of the fitting was quite complicated. He carefully explained all the workings and made sure I understood them. He also arranged for collection of all the old fittings and the packaging from the new items. This has been carried out within 24 hours! I am delighted with the whole experience and am so enjoying being able to bathe safely again.

Simon the fitter was extremely professional and thorough throughout. He went the extra mile to replace old wiring with new for the power shower. He also made the boxed off areas as attractive as possible to give the walk in shower a really lovely overall look - even sections that would only be visible from outside the upstairs window. Excellent job.
Phil, the electrical sign off chap, was also on time and thorough and kept me informed during his visit.
All very clean and tidy and I am truly grateful for the quality job. Thanks.

Very happy with product and service

Our easy access shower is very practical and looks good too. The installer was very helpful and friendly and took time to explain what he was doing. He made sure the seat height and grab rail position suited us. The job was all done in a day and left clean and tidy. Very happy with the product and the service

Utter disgraceful company

The shower leaked when they came to fix the leak left white silicon all over the silver chrome had to replace the the whole front panel. When they replaced the panel there was a chip on the side panel we were told that the door originally had been put more forward to cover the chip also there was a manufacturering fault.
This unit and the company is a total disgrace. Be very careful about getting them to any thing.

We understand that there is a cosmetic fault with your new "Comfort" shower and that you would like to avoid the upheaval of having a replacement part fitted, if possible. We are extremely sorry that the fault was not discovered during quality control and for the upset this has understandably caused you. As discussed, we are liaising with the manufacturer about how we can remedy this cosmetic defect on-site, with the minimum of fuss. Please be assured that our Management team will be in touch, in the very near future, with an alternative plan to resolve this issue, as promised.

Following two falls of my wife at home

Following two falls at home, leading to a two-week stay in Hospital, back in November 2023. After many blood tests, scans, and x-rays, she was discharged with a meds change. But her balance and mobility did not improve over time, and so I voiced my concerns to her GP along with my suspicions of Parkinson's. The GP requested I bring my wife in for examination. He quickly agreed with me and referred her to the Neurology Dept where she was entered onto a waiting list and their acknowledgment letter offered the option that if I was concerned my wife's condition was worsening, I could request her GP's referral to be expedited which I did. Thankfully the GP followed that through resulting in an earlier consultation that led to a diagnosis of Parkinson's. Then we went into overdrive. Our present home was unsuitable for a Parkinson's sufferer so it was put on the market. That market was fairly dormant and viewings were few with no interest, so we decided, with my wife's safety being paramount, we would set out to make our home as safe as possible for my wife until we could move. Cornwall Social Service's agreed and arranged the installation of a stairlift, but no funds were available for a bathroom conversion. We bit the bullet and arranged the Aquability conversion. It has made a massive difference to the quality of life for Penny even though we intend to relocate. It is expensive and we are unlikely to recoup any of the expense when we eventually sell but Penny's safety will always be uppermost with me. There comes a time when saving funds and spending savings may play and when it comes to health it still remains up to you. We made our choice. The Aquability installation has continued to give us peace of mind until we move. My wife is happy to use it, and that eases my anxiety somewhat.

I had a few problems with this company

I had a few problems with the installation. The original installation had to be amended as they had not sent the correct material - it was too small and the "infill" at the back had to be redone. The fitter fitted the power for the control but I didn't know they were going to have to run a spur from the spare room and drill holes in the wall. It had to be amended as he had attached it to an ordinary three pin plug instead of a dedicated socket. The seat wasn't right as we couldn't lie down in the bath due to a gap. Now about 10 months on I find that it only has a one year warranty! I asked about the door before and I am sure was told it would last a lifetime. This probably happened because my husband had dementia and I was stressed looking after him. I have been told I need to spend £325 for 2 year cover for parts and labour as it's £99 an hour excluding parts. I am not happy.

Disgusted at poor service

Disgusted at poor service. My parents are disabled and urgently needed a walk in shower and new bathroom fitted. This company came to us on recommendation from an elderly charity. Have called 5 times and left messages over 6 days for someone to contact us and either visit or get a quote. Called again today and spoke to a call taker, who promised a call back this evening……. So, what a surprise when no-one called back. Steer clear of this Company, if they can’t return a phone call, they’ll clearly not be able to provide you with an honest, reliable or competent service. Be warned!

New shower room excellent job

Great experience, very helpful and made sure it was an overall great job. From the initial phone enquiry I made to the completed project. We had walk in shower, washbasin and new toilet in cabinets. I was advised it would take 2 days. The two fitters had it all done in one day. No mess at all, so pleased. Excellent couldn’t praise them enough. The rubbish outside was removed within 48 hours. Highly recommend.

Steer clear of this company.. RIPOFF disabled people

We have given 1 star as there is no where we can put NO stars !!! Steer clear of this company if u dont want to be ripped off .. we had to have them back SIX times due to leaks .. yessss six!!!! The last time they were supposed to be removing it & refunding our money but surprisingly (NOT) the bloke had no knowledge of this & as we were sick of the inconvenience & mess we let him have another go at fixing it .. very luckily for THEM not us, he managed to stop the leak. Think they had part shares in a sealant company as ours seems to be made of it!! They were supposed to be refunding us also for the shower as they used our shower & not 1 of theirs but that didn't happen either..
totally wrecked our floor in bathroom with the leaks & also kitchen ceiling .. then another surprise (NOT) they wanted us to claim off OUR house insurance!! It made us both ill with the worry & we washed our hands of them in the end and had to fork out to fix it ourselves .. absolutely disgusting service from start to finish, kept getting passed from one person to another & no one knew what the other had said .. we weren't even going to bother with a review but then someone we knew had plans to use them so we felt we had a duty to let people know how bad this company treats disabled people 🤬🤬🤬

Thank you for your review. We are truly sorry that there was an issue with the sealant on your shower and that we needed to re-attend on several occasions to re-apply the sealant. We absolutely understand how distressing and inconvenient this was for you and we apologise for the disruption caused to you by the remedial visits.
As you state, our director did speak with you personally and informed you that we would change the entire shower module if we could not get to the bottom of the issue. However, fortunately, this was not necessary, and the leak was permanently resolved once we had ensured the sealant was allowed sufficient time to dry before use. If you are now unhappy with the finish due to excess sealant, we can strip this back and re-apply, if you are agreeable.
We are concerned about the defamatory allegations you have made in your review and respectfully ask if you would please amend it to reflect that we did put you in touch with our own insurers, that the damage to your kitchen ceiling pre-existed our installation and that, at some stage, you stopped responding to the insurers, who inform us that your claim remains open, awaiting your response.
Please could you also remove the allegation that we did not reimburse you for a shower valve. We never charged you for a shower valve, as is shown in the contract documents, which also detail your pre-existing leak.
We have emailed you directly and hope that you will allow us access to re-apply the sealant, if necessary. We also hope that you will agree to amend this review in the interest of fairness.

Both my mum and myself both had walking…

Both my mum and myself both had walking showers,mums was fitted couple of weeks before mine, we both had Scott who did a great job at fitting the showers, Scott never stopped from arrival to going home, my mum had a complete bathroom completed in 2 days, I had only the shower completed in 1 day,the old ones was fetch the next day,we're very pleased with our product, can't fault them,
