Efter en håbløs afvisning fra min forhandler vedrørende mekaniske skader på to Aqara Smart Lock U200, kontaktede jeg Aqara direkte. Jeg havde et naivt håb om, at de i det mindste ville være interesserede i at undersøge, hvad der var galt med TO af deres egne produkter. Går de overhovedet op i deres eget brand og kvalitet?
Svaret fra dem var dybt skuffende. De skrev dybest set bare: "Beklager, at du har problemer, men du må kontakte sælgeren/distributøren." Jamen, det havde jeg jo lige fortalt dem, at jeg allerede havde gjort, og at forhandleren nægtede at hjælpe! Hvis Aqara bare gik en lille smule op i deres produkter, burde de så ikke undre sig over, hvordan to låse kan gå i stykker på nøjagtig samme mekaniske måde?
Det gør de tydeligvis ikke.
Jeg kan ABSOLUT IKKE ANBEFALE DENNE LÅS. Den er alt for kompliceret. Lige fra dag ét var der problemer med kalibreringen, og efter et par uger gik de simpelthen mekanisk i stykker. Jeg har været utrolig tålmodig, men nu er det slut. Hold jer væk!

My order AQAS11862 was shipped with only 1 of 2 items purchased. Customer service team were downright disgusting on how they handled the order basically stating that I was lying even though I sent evidence of what arrived. I have been left paying for something which I didn’t even receive
I sent back the 1 item that arrived after not wanting to use their products and they still haven’t refunded me after several attempts to contact.
Would recommend looking at other brands such as switchbot and other competitors.

Nachdem ich drei Kameras und den Hub installiert habe war alles für ca. 1 Jahr zufriedenstellend. Dann hat Aqara anscheinend das Geschäftsmodell gewechselt und versucht dem Kunden das Abo KI basierte Erkennungssystem aufzuzwingen. Ohne die monatliche Erpressungsrate erkennen die Kameras plötzlich alles was sich bewegt als Person und minütlich wird benachrichtigt. Das hat vor dem update einwandfrei funktioniert. Die einzige Möglichkeit sich dem dauergebimmel zu entziehen ist die Erkennung abzuschalten. Das macht natürlich bei einem Überwachungssystem überhaupt keinen Sinn. Ich kann nur jedem von Aqara abraten, der Hersteller versucht mit Gewalt die Kunden über den Tisch zu ziehen.
Wandert in den Müll, schade ums Geld.
SW update makes you pay for stuff that was free.
The latest software update, to their home app, removes features that were once free of charge and now requires you to take out a £100-a-year subscription to use them. It should be illegal for companies to remove functionality that was there when you purchased the product. In this case, they have removed the option to record time-lapse video using their security cameras without a subscription to their cloud service.

Bought an Aqara U100 that was used. I didn’t realize in order to reset the device you need to have the admin code, which I was unable to obtain. I contacted support and they told me there is no alternative method of resetting this lock without that original code. So this device is useless. Such a stupid idea to only allow a reset by relying so heavily on one code. Honestly, I think it’s to push people to buy new for profit over “security” concern. Terrible product and wouldn’t waste money on any of their products.

G410 doorbell and hub - infuriating to set up
I bought a G410 doorbell and hub - infuriating to set up.
User manual is useless if the devices does not automatically connect.
The user videos (from Aqara) do not help with fault finding or pairing issues.
Fundamental terms such as 'Board' and 'Card' are not explained. They are just thrown at you without you even knowing if you need to use them.
No reset possible on a doorlock.
I installed a door lock A100, 8 months ago. The lock was not working so I tried to reset it. But it is asking me my password that is not accepted. No way to reset. Aqara would not take the product back. No warranty! And you will be locked out of you house. Don't forget you security code also. No way to reset without a code! Confirmed by Aqara customer service.
G410 Doorbell is junk
I bought a G410 doorbell back in mid December. It is now the second week in January and it’s sitting on my coffee table. The unit just up and died two days ago. I got zero support from aqara. I will never buy one of their products again. I suggest you don’t either

Commande d’1 sonnette connectée et de 2 caméras de la marque AQARA via la plateforme SHOPIFY pour un montant de 432,28 € le 30/12/2025.
Message reçu sur le site de SHOPIFY le 02/01/2026 m’indiquant que la commande a été livrée.
Mais je n’ai aboutement rien reçu. Aucun livreur n’est passé, rien dans ma boite aux lettres et pas d’appels téléphonique non plus.
J’ai remonté l’information en demandant une preuve de livraison (signature ou photo du colis dans ma boite), je n’ai eu aucune réponse.
J’ai contacté AQARA qui n’a jamais répondu !

Aqara G4 video deurbel gedurende pakweg 2 jaar gebruikt. Inferieure rommel. Het is niet al te duur, maar inmiddels is ook wel duidelijk waarom. Nooit fatsoenlijk gefunctioneerd.

det er et scam produkt fra ende til anden.

Koop dit niet! De software hapert en je moet allerlei trucs verzinnen om je doel te bereiken. Als je je password kwijt bent moet je binnen vijf minuten een link gebruiken die echter pas na vijf minuten in je mailbox staat zodat je altijd te laat bent ook al refresh je elke tien seconden. Als je contact opneemt wordt er gezegd dat een geldigheid van langer dan vijf minuten heel onveilig is en dat ze geen reden hebben om het wat soepeler in te stellen. Waardeloos!

They do not exchange and their return process is a nightmare. I bought more than $1,000 of products from them and when I wanted to exchange a smart lock that was incompatible with my door, they simply said NO.
I have now uninstalled and throw to the garbage all the products I bought from them.

Very disappointed – parcel never arrived and no help from support
I ordered from Aqara and never received my parcel. They claimed it was delivered while I was at work, but there was no proof of delivery just a photo of the envelope! and no one at home to receive it. I contacted customer service several times, but they have provided no real assistance or resolution — just repeated claims that the parcel was “successfully delivered.”
I did not authorise any Safeplace, and nothing was left at my property. It’s unacceptable that the seller considers the order fulfilled when I clearly haven’t received anything.
I’ve now had to take legal steps to recover the payment since Aqara refused to take responsibility. Very disappointing experience for what I expected to be a reputable brand.
Getting spammed with multiple marketing…
Getting spammed with multiple marketing emails a week. Unsubscribed to every one of them (a process that is overly convoluted). Contacted support. Still, no resolve. They don't know how to unsubscribe me. The partially templated response (you can see as it comes in different colors) just says to follow the process.
Very frustrating. Have to put them into spam and hope I don't miss any critical info on my system or billing.

Mange Aqara-enheder er lidt kræsne – især fordi de ofte kun vil forbinde til 2,4 GHz Wi-Fi, og nogle gange kræver, at man ændrer opsætning af routeren (adskille 2,4/5 GHz, sætte bestemte krypteringer osv.). Hvis det ikke spiller, kan det hurtigt blive frustrerende – og jeg siger, det er jo ikke ens netværk, der skal tilpasses et produkt, men produktet der skal virke på ens netværk.
At jeg ovenikøbet oplevede, at den begyndte at udsende alarmer helt af sig selv, gør jo ikke oplevelsen bedre – og det er helt fair at miste tilliden til et produkt, der giver bøvl.
