Avoid this company at all costs

Avoid this company at all costs! They sold us a damaged cooker for full price, sent out 2 engineers who had no clue what they were there for when we agreed to get it fixed. One of the engineers didnt even turn up on the day agreed so i lost wages waiting in all day and this whole time which was about a month we had no cooker to use as we were worried the company wouldnt fix it due to their “out of packaging clause” the first engineer that came out had a woman on loud speaker in my home who was extremely disrespectful to me trying to imply he should find fault that i damaged the cooker! The other engineer came out and done nothing then reported it as fixed. Absolute joke when we asked for a replacement the cooker was out of stock. We are now over this whole scenario so have accepted it for what it is but i will be warning everyone to avoid! Never again.

Haven't received my product 9 days…

Haven't received my product 9 days waiting for communication, yet I had to ring them to see when delivery is ,they said they would ring me back which they never did ,so I had to ring again they said I would recieve a message to let me know when I will receive my delivery , so im still waiting

unhelpful…

I explained on the phone to the salesperson that I needed some extra help because I have a visual impairment. The person I spoke to was courteous and helpful. There was then a problem with the delivery- I tried to explain the nature of the problem to customer services. With a view to waving the rebook charge- this was a distressing - unhelpful experience for me. It is my view that customer services look at both points of view equally in order to make a decision. This was not the case. I asked for some disgression due to some misunderstanding but didnt get it. left me feeling as though the person I ws talking to wasnt interested in what I was saying. Cancelled the order

On the day of delivery, our team made every possible effort to complete your order successfully. We attempted to contact you three separate times to resolve the delivery issue, but unfortunately we were unable to reach you. In addition, no delivery instructions had been provided to assist our drivers with the delivery requirements.

We fully understood and acknowledged your request for additional support due to your visual impairment, and both our sales and customer service teams made every effort to assist you fairly and respectfully throughout the process.

Despite this, the delivery could not be completed due to circumstances outside of our control. We were more than willing to re-book the delivery and help find a suitable resolution, however the decision was ultimately made by yourself to cancel the order.

We do take all customer feedback seriously and always aim to be understanding and accommodating, but in this instance we are confident that our team acted appropriately and did everything possible to help.

Excellent service!

This company goes above and beyond to help customers when there is a problem. There was a problem with the gas hob that we ordered and nothing was too much trouble for the guy from AWO. He responded quickly to our many emails and he contacted the manufacturer several times for us. When it turned out that nothing could be done because the hob had been discontinued, he made very helpful suggestions and offered of course to exchange the hob if these did not work out. I would give this company 10 stars if I could. Thank you AOW!

Fantastic service and product.

Yesterday, my fridge freezer finally stopped working and so I had to find another asap. Checked Which? for a recommendation and found it cheaper at this store, Appliance World online, but because I needed it urgently I rang them. Spoke to a very knowledgeable (and patient) man who discussed it with me, recommended a better option then arranged for next day delivery. It arrived this morning, less than 24 hours after I ordered and paid for it.
Fantastic service from this business and particularly the lovely man I spoke to. I will definitely look at this company when I need anything else, and would recommend anyone reading this, to do the same. Don’t think I have ever had such positive experience as this when buying something, especially when the whole process had to be rushed, as the frozen food in my broken fridge freezer was thawing. Great service and fantastic product, thank you so much
