Well made shelves, made & delivered in good time
Ordered a couple of airing cupboard shelves recently to put in my bathroom. The ordering and specification process was very easy and they were delivered well-wrapped a week or ten days later. Sizing and build quality are spot on. I’ll definitely buy from you again in the future.

Time Wasters
I was told what I wanted was in stock but when I ordered I waited 5 days with no reply so I messaged them and they said it was not in stock but I'll wait. They were unresponsive to web chat after the beginning so I had to use email.
A few days later, I was told my order was cancelled and I would be refunded which I was. What a waste of time. Expected good things looking at the high ratings but very disappointed in the end.

Thanks for your feedback and I’m really sorry about the outcome of your order. I would like to add my perspective on this. You enquired about a chopping board made to a bespoke thickness. I spoke with you on the live chat and informed you we had the raw material in stock and that it would be difficult to determine the exact, finished thickness until we had planed and sanded it, but that we would do our best to meet your requirements. That process alone extended the production time for your order because we spent longer than usual planing various boards to meet your thickness. What I failed to do was inform you that this could increase our standard production time.
The live chat facility we have decided to keep free of AI, a lot of customers have commented that they are glad to speak with a human, this means we can’t always respond immediately. The last message you sent, which was two working days after you ordered, you used the live chat, it was after midnight and you sent an email at the same time. I replied via email at 7am. I was taken aback by the tone of your messages stating “I demand a response” and “I expect delivery by …” As soon as our workshop team told me your order would not be delivered on the date you expected, I felt it was best to cancel and refund the order given the already unhappy communications. The delivery timeframe was stated as 3 - 5 working days and you had begun messaging after only 1 working day. We are very focused on quality finishes and accurate measurements, you say you chose us based on our good reviews, but then didn’t allow us the time or trust to actually carry out your order.

Three very nicely made airing cupboard shelves, a good fit and so nicely finished we wont need to paint them.
Would definitely use Apex again.

My cupboard shelving arrived in perfect condition; sturdily packaged and delivered within a very respectable time frame. The shelving was cut to exact size, well designed, robust and expertly constructed, proving to be far better than my present shelving. Obvious craftsmanship and care had also been taken in ensuring a very smooth and fresh smelling finish. Thank you very much for proving to be an excellent, trustworthy online company that I would highly recommend to others.
