Very happy customer! Andy and the team were proactive and communicative from my first call and absolutely went the extra mile at every stage. Being a first time buyer I was very unsure on the process but from booking the level 2 survey to discussing the outcome of the report it's clear Andy is very experienced and knowledgeable and it made something that could have been very stressful a breeze. Despite having serious issues identified at the property the service and report helped us process the information and make the correct decisions. Despite our disappointment of the findings we believe this to be great value for money and essential to make sure your purchase goes ahead smoothly. Highly recommend

An interesting and informative report. Previously we have only had building society surveys completed. This was a much more comprehensive document. Would definitely not buy a house again without a survey from Andrew.

Excellent communication from Andrew and Josh as to how the level 3 survey would progress, and what to expect during and after. The report is through with photographs and drone images to support the written text. Andrew is willing to offer further explanation of findings after the inspection, but I felt no need for this as everything was covered by his visit and report. What a great team, would recommend them highly, and value their friendly professional approach.

I found Andrew James Property Survey on a web search, hoping to get someone honest and good. As matter of fact I have been lucky. Andrew has been professional and very handy, and available to all my questions and more.
I feel like giving him 5 star although I honestly must say that in my survey was reported an impervious paint to be removed because it could cause damp issue but when I have contacted a professional company, members of the Property Care Association, I have been told that it is not necessary. I do not know anything about this thing so this is the only discrepancy found. I would definitely reccomend him. However bare on mind a surveyer always had to report anything but it does not mean that all the jobs needs to be done. I would suggest to value what it is really necessary to be done. I also would reccomend Andrew for his fare quotation.

Andrew undertook a level 3 survey on a property for us, while in the process of buying a cottage in Northumberland. Being over 150 years old, it made perfect sense, and it should be noted he was referred to us by a colleague...always a good sign.
From the get-go Andrew was communicative, professional and approachable. He managed to execute the survey quickly, and the completed report was of the highest possible standard. Detailed enough to compile a really extensive list of issues to be dealt with, while also being clear enough for any buyer to understand and use.
I had the report reviewed by a friend who undertakes developments and renewals of heritage properties, and he said it was among the best he'd seen, so top marks all round.
Like the title says, I couldn't recommend any more highly, and will always appreciate the service given.
