Au-delà de nos attentes

Notre demenagement a Abu Dhabi s'est deroule parfaitement, malgre nos inquietudes pour la douane avec nos emirates ID obtenus 3 jours uniquement 3 jours avant I'arrivee. L'equipe a ete patiente et attentive, meme quand les formalites semblaient interminables. en terme de communications, meme si tout est arrive en temps et en heure.

Thieves and liars

I am again posting as I see a recent influx of presumably fake 5 star reviews. My first review of this company was exactly one month ago, we still have no answer as to the location of our belongings. Before engaging with this company do yourself a favour and read through all the 1 star trustpilot reviews, go to other review websites and social media and you will see the same horror story on repeat. Amoov has taken everyone's belongings and no one is getting answers. I did my due diligence before committing to them in May and it seems since then something has changed. I dont' believe we will ever see our belongings again and don't believe the responses to negative reviews where they say to email @amoovcares - no one responds to that email either.

No one is stealing anything from you, we have been communicating over and over, but at this stage, there hasn't been any release.
Please come down and kindly stop defaming. We have answered your multiples emails, including through IAM.

But the answer remains the same: your shipment is customs blocked, and we are hoping that the release will occur next week, but we CAN'T GUARANTEE IT.

As soon as the release is happening.
Again, sorry that your experience is very stressful, but at this stage, we are pushing daily.

Entreprise horrible !!!!!

Une entreprise horrible ils ne sont absolument pas sérieux partez au plus vite le montant du devis n’a absolument pas été respecter et encore moins le délai du transport mais le pire c’est qu’une fois qu’ils sont venu chercher vos affaires ils ne sont plus joignable ni au tel ni par mail à la base le montant était de 3900€ et au final on a payer 5000€ pour récupérer nos affaires et le délais était de 6 semaines on a attendu 4 mois pour avoir nos affaires vraiment si j’avais lu les avis avant je ne me serais jamais engagé avec eux !!!!! Vraiment fuyiez!!!!

AVOID

Having relocated from France to Doha, we are still waiting for our belongings to depart from the country of origin - more than 3 months since our belongings were collected.
Within our container is our Christmas tree/decorations and all presents bought in advance along with birthday gifts for our young child.
Having to chase on a weekly basis for updates and always getting the same "it's about to be shipped" reply is no longer adequate. We wish we had chosen another company - and are absolutely devastated.
UPDATE: One month later and still nothing. We were promised tracking links, regular updates, and we still have to chase constantly for a reply. At this stage we have only received excuses and do not know the whereabouts of our belongings. Within the container are some documents we urgently need for our local visa, in addition to all of the Christmas presents purchased in advance. We are desperate to get our belongings back and use another company. Never ever again.
2025 UPDATE: after continuous excuses and delays, we have been told our belongings (which have been sat in a warehouse for SIX MONTHS), will be shipped on the 14th of February. In the interim, we have notified the DGCCRF in France and sought legal counsel. Hands down the worst company we have ever dealt with - the loss and distress caused is beyond any price.

Casse + devis non respecté

Lors de mon déménagement Indonésie -> France, AMOOV n'a pas respecté le devis initial et nous a demandé 1700 euros supplémentaires. De plus, trois meubles en bois massif sont arrivés cassés.

Exceeded our expectations for a complex move

We moved from Cork to Panama for our pre-retirement. The team assisted us from start to finish, including with Spanish language details, which we found incredibly helpful. From packing our artwork to handling customs, everything went perfectly and all was in time.

Bad experience. Had to fight hard for refund.

Just the facts:
- Mid-May 2024: signed a contract with AMOOV for shipment of my belongings (1.5 cubic metres, 200 kg) by plane, from France to Tokyo, Japan.
- End of May 2024: paid a retainer for the service to be provided within 12 weeks.
- August 2024: my belongings haven't left France. The person assigned to my case at AMOOV stops replying to my messages.
- September 2024 : a new person is assigned to my case by AMOOV (with no explanation as to what happened to the previous one or for their total radio-silence for almost two months).
- October 2024: my belongings still haven't left France. I warn AMOOV that if nothing is done within two weeks, I will signal AMOOV to gthe French authorities in charge of fraud prevention.
- Two weeks later : my belongings still haven't left France. I contact the authorities in charge of fraud prevention. Yet another person is assigned to my case by AMOOV.
- November: contacted another moving company (AGS). Two weeks later my belongings are packed and shipped to Tokyo, to be delivered in a week.

Update (03/02/2025): got a refund from AMOOV for the retainer plus an additional 100 € for my trouble.

Mudança de Bruxelas ao Brasil – Serviço Excelente!

A decisão de mudar de Bruxelas para o Rio de Janeiro foi difícil, mas a equipe nos apoiou em tudo. Cuidaram dos móveis antigos da família, incluindo um piano que é muito precioso para nós. Eles embalaram tudo com tanto cuidado! Serviço altamente recomendável para quem se muda para o Brasil.

Best movers in France and Canada!

We recently moved from Paris to Toronto, and we couldn't be happier with the service we received. From the first phone call, the team was incredibly helpful. They explained everything clearly and helped us feel prepared for the big move (as we had two containers).
On the first packing day, the team arrived right on time and got straight to work. They were friendly and professional, handling our belongings with care. They even let the kids help pack a "special box" with their favorite things, which made them feel involved and less anxious about the move ( and following their favourite packer Ismael for 4 days straight).
The shipping process was smooth, and we got regular updates throughout. Rita, our coordinator kept us informed at every stage, so always knew where our things were. There was a slight delay in customs, but the team handled everything for us and kept us in the loop, which was reassuring.
When our belongings arrived in Toronto the team unpacked and set everything up exactly how we wanted it. The movers were quickly and efficient, and nothing was damaged.
Overall, we're really happy with the service. The team took all the stress out of our move, and we would definitely recommend them to anyone moving internationally.

Relocation to Brazil

We relocated from Paris to São Paulo for my job,and the team made everything so easy. They handled all customs paperwork well (the representation in Brazil is really dedicated) and arrived our belongings arrived just as we left them. Would highly recommend.

Flawless move from London to Miami

Moving from London to Miami with this team was quite seamless. AMOOV packed everything securely, even our antique furniture, and kept us updated throughout. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. If there was one "negative" comment is we had 3 unexpensive cups broken. Out of 200 cubic feet, I guess it's fine :)

Nous avons déménagé de Bordeaux à Halifax

Nous avons déménagé de Neuchâtel à Halifax, et l'équipe a fait un travail impeccable. J'avais des œuvres d'art assez fragiles, y compris des sculptures, et ils les ont emballées avec un soin extrême. Petit flottement après l'emballage abant d'avoir le bateau (1 semaine) mais ils étaient très attentifs à nos demandes. Au final c'est arrivé dans les temps. On recommande les yeux fermés.

Je recommande vivement AMOOV ! Nous avons déménagé de Lyon à Montréal avec nos deux enfants, et tout s’est déroulé sans souci. Ils ont pris soin de tout emballer soigneusement, y compris les objets fragiles que je craignais pour. Nous avons reçu des mises à jour tout au long du trajet, ce qui était rassurant. Great Experience

Moving with three kids under 10 is no joke, but this company handled it like pros. We were moving from Canada to Germany because of my husband's work, and I was terrified about how the kids would adjust. But the movers went out of their way to be friendly, and they even helped keep the kids entertained while we finished packing the last few things. They managed to pack our whole house in just two days, including our piano, which I was really worried about. It arrived without a scratch! Their customer service was also great at keeping us updated along the way (could have been faster at time). A wonderful -as much as a move can be-, stress-free experience,
