We required a surveyors report to asses the condition of the 8 flats in our building before we purchase the Freehold. Abbas, our Surveyor accommodated all the varied requirements of each flat. He was very thorough and happy to answer all questions and concerns, He was also happy to investigate extra areas as requested within each flat, as he went along. He explained individual queries in a concise and friendly manor. He was also happy to answer follow up questions and issues via email.

We received a report for each individual flat, as well as a detailed comprehensive overview and an all important Section 20 Major Works technical report which outlined problems and potential solutions in order of priority.

Abbas is a friendly, professional and patient structural engineer without any ego to get in the way. I felt completely listened to, and Abbas took the time to thoroughly understand the structural changes I wanted, and to go through the design step by step with me, explaining as he went. He worked collaboratively with me and my builder to discuss the practicalities of the proposed works, and gave helpful suggestions and reassurance. I am looking forward to receiving his report with calculations so I can plan the project.

Alpine Surveys were very quick to respond to my inquiry for a water ingress survey (actually agreed to and paid for a full structural survey) and were able to have a surveyor around within a few days.
Abbas the surveyor was really nice person and did a good job looking at the chimney which we were sure was the point of the water ingress into our living room.
Abbas also checked the attic to ensure the water had not affected the internal structure. So as far as the survey for water ingress was undertaken it was very thorough.
Due to the pressure of high work load it took 20 days for the report to arrive. In the meantime I contacted a local builder who was recommended by another company of structural surveyors who found a hole in the flashing to the chimney and put in a temporary fix (it appears to be holding) while they waited for the Alpine Surveys report.
When the report arrived it focused on the water ingress and nothing about the rest of the property. When I raised this with Alpine surveys keeping in mind I had paid for a full structural survey, I received the reply that at the outset I made it clear the water ingress was our priority - which it was. To be fair the company did offer for the surveyor to return to look at the other rooms however I chose not to do this.

I used Alpine Surveys to find the cause of a leak through a ceiling. They were very quick to respond to my inquiry for a water ingress survey and were able to have a surveyor around within a few days. The surveyor was lovely and showed me photos of the suspected cause of the leak before leaving. However, having chased the company for the report both 7 and 9 working days after the survey (from their initial email they "endeavour to produce the report within 5 to 7 working days" and in their terms and conditions promise "the report will be forwarded within 5 business days" ) I still do not have it 2 weeks later. Meanwhile rain has continued to get into my house and leak through my walls and ceiling, causing more damage. I would expect such a well reviewed company to have processes that do not allow this to happen. I was provided with the survey on the morning of the 11th working day after the survey.

Abbas attended the day after my enquiry, on time and was faultless in his manners. He quietly and effectively assessed the property and explained many causes of issues that had been a concern. If all their surveyors showed the same level of professionalism, I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I was worried about some cracks on the internal and external walls of my house. Alpine Property Surveys Ltd sent a structural engineer, within a few days of me contacting them, to view my property.
The engineer was extremely thorough and went through the whole house examining all areas. At the end of his inspection he kindly sat with us and went through everything and gave us recommendations of what needs to be done. This will be followed up with a written report.

A fantastic service from start to finish. Mark Dobson was extremely efficient in his responses to our emails. We commissioned Alpine Surveys to work out the calculations and feasibilty of removing a load bearing external wall in order to extend our kitchen. The survey was carried out by Bahaa who was very thorough and helpful. We were were very pleased with comprehensive and detailed survey report, which was received on time. We would recommend this company to family and friends.

In December 2025, I commissioned Alpine Surveys to undertake a structural survey to determine if construction work to be undertaken by my neighbour posed a risk of damage to my old cottage. From the moment I first contacted the company, Alpine Surveys were efficient and helpful. My survey was undertaken by an extremely proficient structural surveyor who was highly qualified and very knowledgeable. He gave the matter a lot of thought and wrote an excellent report. I recommend Alpine Surveys most highly.

The team were super helpful when booking the survey and sent example reports etc. The costs were very fair and reasonable. Paul the surveyor turned up on time, was very thorough and actually got up on the roof! The report was issued on time and was comprehensive and independent, which I stressed was important. Honestly, I cannot recommend Alpine Surveys more highly.
