⭐ 1 Star – Misleading, Damaging, and Unprofessional From Start to Finish
I hired All My Sons Moving & Storage (Baton Rouge) for a move on June 27, 2025, and it turned into one of the most frustrating, dishonest, and damaging service experiences I’ve ever had.
What Was Promised:
• 3 professional movers
• 1 fully equipped truck
• Punctual, careful, professional service
• Quality assurance contact throughout the move
What I Actually Got:
• Only 2 movers showed up, with no prior notice. I wasn’t given a chance to cancel, reschedule, or approve the change. I had to physically help disassemble and carry heavy items, which is exactly what I paid to avoid.
• They were 4 hours late. Scheduled for 8:00 a.m., they didn’t arrive until 12:00 p.m. — no phone call, no update, no apology. I had to call them myself to find out where they were.
• During the move, they scraped and dented the door of my brand-new refrigerator, and caused damage to nearly every wall and doorway in my house. Furniture was dragged through without care, leaving gouges and scuffs throughout the property.
• I was forced to pay the full bill before my belongings were even unloaded, a requirement that appears nowhere in the contract. This felt coercive and unprofessional.
• Jared Fay from the local office later claimed he had applied a $40/hour discount due to the missing mover — supposedly dropping the rate from $189/hour to $149/hour. That was a lie. When I checked the final bill, only $20/hour had been deducted — meaning the actual rate was $169/hour, not $149/hour as he claimed.
• The reduced crew caused the move to take longer, increasing my final cost despite the so-called “discount.” I paid more for less service and was misled about the pricing.
• The contract also says I would be contacted by a member of the operations team throughout the move for quality assurance. That never happened. Not before, not during, not after.
End Result:
I paid a premium hourly rate, was shorted on labor, had to do physical work myself, had my property damaged, was misled about pricing, and was strong-armed into paying before the job was done. The “discount” I was promised was false, the customer care was nonexistent, and the experience was physically and financially draining.
I would never use this company again and strongly warn others to stay away. If you value your home, your belongings, your time, or your wallet — go elsewhere.

Google All My Son’s SCAM first before hiring All My Sons Moving
Before hiring All My Sons Moving, do yourself a favor and Google "All My Sons Moving SCAM." I wish I had. It would've saved me thousands of dollars and an enormous amount of stress during an already difficult time.
Here is my experience:
* I was quoted $1,200 after a video consultation.
* On moving day, they refused to unload my belongings until I paid $3,600--more than triple the original estimate. This practice is not only unethical, it's the reason laws are now being passed to stop it.
* I was scheduled to have four movers--only three showed up, and one left within the first hour. That left two movers for an entire house.
* They damaged my walls and baseboards significantly.
* I was charged over $1,000 just for materials, including billing for 50 boxes when only 22 were used. Some boxes were charged at almost $20 each, just for the cardboard.
* Despite having stacks of moving blankets, they continued to bill me for unnecessary materials.
* They cranked my thermostat down to 60°F and left the doors open all day, which caused my AC unit to seize--another out-of-pocket expense.
* They refused to move one item, claiming it was "infested with spiders." When I asked to see it, there were no spiders at all. I genuinely suspect one of the workers may have been under the influence.
* They began billing hourly from the moment they left their office, and spent the first 30 minutes walking around the house doing nothing.
* At one point, they disappeared--to a QT gas station--for an unknown amount of time. I had been at work and I had to drive back and forth between homes trying to locate them. I was billed for all of that time.
* And after all this, when I went back to do a final walk through, they left behind an entire couch and multiple pieces of heavy gym equipment, leaving me--alone and without help--to deal with it. My husband was out of state, and I had no one else to help me.
I called daily for a resolution and was promised a return call each time. I never received a single one.
Please learn from my experience. This company shows zero concern for its customers, and I'm far from the only one. Read the hundreds of other similar stories. The emotional distress, financial loss, and utter lack of professionalism are not worth it.
Avoid All My Sons Moving at all costs.
Another Great Job!!
As I expected from my first time this company performed exceptionally well on my second use of them. From dealing with Russell for the booking process to the second well trained and courteous crew this was a great experience. Juwaun, Delonte, and Zavier were professional, careful and quick and they got down to business right away. My storage facility had some tight turns that created a challenge but a bit of patience and great customer service saved the day. I’m always going to check with “All My Sons” for anything I need professionally moved or stored. And they also support us old veterans too!! Great company!!
Cancelled Move With No Notice
We booked a full-service move with All My Sons for a Saturday morning and received confirmation the day before. No one showed up. No call, no email, no warning. We were left completely stranded on moving day.
Worse still, my wife is 12 weeks pregnant and had to help carry boxes in 90-degree heat while we scrambled to find same-day movers at additional cost.
After reaching out multiple times, the company refused to take any responsibility or offer even a partial reimbursement. Their response to our complaint was a generic, copy-pasted message that they’ve used on many other reviews, especially from customers reporting last-minute cancellations like ours.
All My Sons shows a complete lack of accountability, professionalism, and concern for customer well-being. I strongly advise avoiding this company.

Nathan and Tracy were awesome. Very nice guys who handled items with care. The only reason this isn’t five stars is because of issues related to the office/accounting side. The total for the move was $1,000 above the high end of the quote I’d received. I’ve emailed and called to request an invoice showing the breakdown, but have not received one. Will keep trying.
Excellent service
Darien, Cam, and Zay were my moving team. They were great. They were very organized and worked well as a team. They were very careful with my glass display cases and shelves, yet they were quick and efficient. I would definitely use All My Sons Moving company again! It was a great experience! I will refer this moving company to my friends and family!
Worst move I’ve had in 30+ years
Worst move I’ve had in 30+ years. I explained I had a 45-foot container that needed shipped. I receive a call from someone who said they were sending someone for a small container. Before the movers showed up I received another call saying they were sending 3 people for a POD move. In the end they just started throwing stuff into the container that SHOULD have held my household goods AND a Mini Cooper. That was the plan anyway. Packing started out well and then they got tired and packed just well enough to finish the job. The Mini Cooper didn’t fit into the container and so I’m out another $2400 to have it shipped. I’m surprised I didn’t have more broken items. I had items marked to not stack on top because of the fragility of the items and guess what…they stacked things on top. Terrible, Terrible, Terrible. Not enough people, not enough leadership, and failure to follow directions. I wouldn’t recommend this company at all!!!!!

Our message to All My Sons Customer Care and reposted on BBB, Consumer Affairs, yelp, Angie’s List, pissed Consumer, Birdeye Experience and others “I would like to first say how pleased we were with the loading of our home contents at 54 Central Ct, Tarpon Springs, FL.The crew was very efficient and did an excellent job. Unfortunately things went horribly wrong after that at 124 Creek Pebble Dr Ponte Vedra. Apparently our things were transferred to a different
vehicle and were not treated with the same care our original packers gave it. Boxes arrived dented and with holes in them. 2 Waterford Millenium wine goblets were smashed ( $179.95 each). 4 Mikasa Solitude soup bowls were broken (replacements .com price $31.99 each). A swivel rocker was so dirty we refused to let the movers leave it here. It was junk. A king size box spring was also badly soiled.One antique gate leg table was broken and a dowel was missing from it. Two round end tables were badly chipped. A metal shelving unit was missing one pole rendering it unusable.The original packing was from the back to the front of the truck. The transfer to the rented truck was obviously reversed from the original back to front packing. And the repacking was observably haphazard. This was not remotely normal damage that can happen in a move but was caused by your unfortunate decision to transfer to the rental truck.
We feel compensation is due us. Please see the included pictures to verify our damages” They even said repacked cabinets and a dresser upside down.

Do not use this company
Do not use this company. It is the worst experience I have ever had. The storage LOST half of my belongings. Made a half hearted attempt to find. Wasted my time in filling out insurance forms. They ignored them. Avoided any contact: phone calls never answered emails not read or answered. Simply bullied there way through the process. Gave me a day to review their incompetence and then cancelled anything financial. Beware they lost $25k of my goods and would not take responsibility. This is a horrible and cruel company. Be warned. Do not use.

I hired All My Sons Moving & Storage, 2400 Old Mill Road, Carrollton Texas 75007 Tel: 1-866-726-1579, DAL 3607, Move ID 130071, for my son's move, expecting a straightforward process based on their initial quote. Unfortunately, my experience was far from smooth.
The company quoted 209 dollars per hour for three movers, estimating a three-hour move—which is exactly how long the move took. However, when the movers were finished, the invoice had ballooned to over 2,000 dollars, with no clear explanation for the drastic increase. To make matters worse, they refused to unload our belongings until payment was made in cash or via credit card.
Communication was another major issue. Two of the movers did not speak English, and the third had limited proficiency, making effective communication nearly impossible. When my daughter-in-law specifically requested that a box containing her medication not be moved, the mover disregarded her request and took it to the truck anyway.
Adding to the frustration, when we agreed under duress to sign their new contract and to pay their inflated invoice, we were told a manager would have to collect the payment in person. We were forced to wait an additional hour for the manager to arriwith the new contract—only to be charged 175 dollars for that wasted hour.
While packing, the movers made numerous rude and disparaging remarks in Spanish, assuming we wouldn’t understand. However, my daughter-in-law, who is a teacher and understands Spanish due to her work with many Spanish-speaking students, was able to understand everything they said. Their disrespectful comments only added to an already frustrating experience.
Overall, this experience was disappointing and stressful. The lack of transparency, poor communication, and questionable billing practices turned what should have been a simple, three-hour move into a costly ordeal.
If you’re considering this company — do NOT hire this company!!
Worst Moving Experience Ever - Significant Damage and Dishonesty
I am beyond disappointed with my recent local move and would strongly recommend hiring a different company.
While the moving team was on time and polite, their lack of proper equipment and care resulted in significant damage. Two pieces of my furniture were broken, and there are multiple scratches all over my brand new treadmill and other furniture items.
To make matters worse, they placed one of the damaged furniture pieces in a closet and did not disclose the damage—a clear attempt to conceal their negligence.
Even more concerning was the significant damage caused to the property we moved out of.
Having moved across the country before without encountering this type of destruction, it's clear this company lacks the professionalism and skill necessary for a successful move, regardless of the distance.
This was, without a doubt, the worst moving experience I have ever encountered.
Their disregard for my belongings and property, coupled with their attempt to hide damage, makes this an absolutely unacceptable service.
