The Allison Homes charter is our promise to you, as a home buyer as to what you can expect with regards to the level of service and commitment from us to you. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Reservation At the point you have made your decision to buy your new home, you will complete a pre reservation form detailing information in relation to the chosen home. You will complete the checklist and the reservation agreement, setting out the key terms and conditions of the purchase including the price, reservation period and other important information relating to your new home. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Meet the builder When you reserve your new home, an appointment will be made by the sales executive for you to meet your dedicated experienced site manager. This will give you the opportunity to watch your home progress, review timings and plans and to raise any questions you may have in relation to your home. Points of contact We will also provide you with a main point of contact during the whole home buying process. This member of staff will assist you with any information you may need during your reservation, your moving in experience and beyond. Our sales team are fully trained and can guide you through the process of buying your new home, assisting you through the experience and answer any questions you may have in relation to your chosen home. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Specification We will discuss at the point of your pre reservation/reservation agreement what specification has been chosen. Anyone not escorted by one of our representatives will be at their own risk and we cannot be held responsible. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Health and safety during occupation During this period, we will try and ensure as far as we are able that any further construction work on the site is carried out in such a manner so that it causes as little inconvenience to you as we can. Once you move into your new home, we will supply you with your homeowner handover documentation providing advice on the safety rules on how to keep you and your family safe during this time. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Pre- plaster inspection Prior to moving in you will be invited by the sales executive to attend a pre- plaster inspection with your site manager, who will provide you with a guided tour of your new home. This is a chance to see the chosen house type design, the positioning of plumbing and electrical positions and to finally confirm the “just for you” that you have already ordered for your home. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟New Home Demonstration You will be invited to attend your new home demonstration prior to you taking occupation of your new home. This is a guided tour to help you become familiar with your home including where everything is located, dealing with operational aspects, other various features and ensuring that you are happy with your home. It is important that you attend your new home demonstration as from our experience many customers find it invaluable in getting to know their new home. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Quality Assured and Warranty information Your home will be built in accordance with the relevant planning permission, building regulations and industry standards. In addition, your home will be inspected during the construction phases and on completion day you will be provided with a quality assured certificate. Your home will also be covered by a 10-year warranty provided by either NHBC/ LABC or equivalent. Details of this will be supplied on a memory stick following completion. Congratulations you have completed on your new home & our commitment continues Courtesy Call Within a few days of you legally completing the purchase of your new home you will be contacted by a member of our team, to ensure all is well. We will then make an appointment to review how you are settling into your new home. We call this the “14 Day Settling In” review. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟14 day settling in review Occasionally things may not be quite right and some items may need clarification when you move into your new home. The aim of the “14 Day Settling In” review is to discuss your new home, obtain feedback from you on the process and to agree with you on any items that may need sorting out. We will then coordinate with you as to when these works will be carried out. After the initial 14-day review and you have agreed that any required works have been completed you will be passed over to our dedicated aftercare service team who are there to deal with any warranty aspects for a two-year period after your purchase. In the first instance if you need to raise an issue you should email customercare@larkfleethomes.co.uk detailing the matter. The after-care service team will contact you to discuss the situation. I needed to move house on a tight…

I needed to move house on a tight timescale, and from meeting Sean in the Sales Office at end of Jan, to moving into my new home at King’s Meadow in March, I’ve had a really positive experience with Allison Homes. I honestly didn’t think I’d be in on schedule, but everyone on the team was so helpful in pushing my purchase forward. A special mention to Richard, the Site Manager, whose team are friendly and respectful on site, and to Chloe, Customer Experience Manager who, with Richard, personally guided me through the house checklist on move in day. They’ve both cheerfully dealt with any queries I’ve had over recent weeks. I’d say the follow up service from this Developer has been exemplary and has exceeded my expectations. I’d a couple of small questions/issues and a few decoration ‘snags’ after move in, but Rob Bedford’s standard of finish was meticulous. The design and overall finish of the home is good, and I particularly appreciate the quality fixtures and fittings esp in bathrooms. As a first time purchaser of a new build property, I was a bit nervous about the process, but can honestly say I’ve felt really well looked after. Chloe has checked in regularly, also Tareena in Allison Homes main office helping take care to make sure I’m happy and settling in. 100% recommend Allison Homes to anyone thinking of a new build purchase.

Viewing experience

Shaun made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. He listened to what we wanted in a new home and paired us up with 2 properties. One of which fits the bill down to the last detail. There was no pressure and he gave us lots of information and allowed us to go off by ourselves to view some homes around the estate. We've not experienced this at other companies we have visited.

Update - Previous 1 star - Flooring

For some reason i was unable to edit my previous review about our flooring. So this is my update:

Allison Homes responded saying that they would send cleaners round, but this was the 7th visit about it. And cleaners had attended previously.

You "recommended" to not be taken to small claims court, because you knew that you'd lose. Hilarious that you think members of the public would fall for this.

We ended up taking Allison Homes to Small Claims court and won. If you just resolved the flooring issue, you would have had much better ratings from myself, and would have recommended you to friends and family. This ended up costing you more money and poor reviews. As a company you should think about this impact before ignoring emails.

A nice home and good after service

We have been in our new home at Fernwood for almost 8 months. During that time we have had some minor snags. We have 2 small items that are being dealt with. Apart from that all of our other issues have been dealt with in a timely and satisfactory manner. Our thanks to our main contact, Tareena, and the various contractors who have all been very helpful.

Helpful and informative

I went to the sales office in Kings Meadow last week for some information as I’m thinking of moving into the area. Sean was very helpful and informative, answered my questions fully, explained the timescales - and even allowed my friend to steal his pen!
When my own house sells I will certainly return to talk to Sean to check availability.

Richard and Chloe couldn’t have done…

Richard and Chloe couldn’t have done more to make moving in and settling down any easier. Phone calls and home visits to ensure everything was ok several times. This is my 4th new build and this is the best service I’ve received.

A great customer experience delivered by Shaun.

Went to visit a show home at Kings Meadow Fernwood as we are currently exploring our options in the area. Shaun was fantastic from the first communication by phone to slotting us in for an appointment that afternoon, he was completely transparent and went through all the details and importantly the numbers we would be looking at if we were to take the leap into a new home. He then walked us down to the house and showed us round answering any questions we had with interest and detail. A great customer experience and a pleasure to deal with Shaun. Not pushy in any way but wanted to ensure our needs and requirements were understood and met. Very approachable and we had a laugh with him and fully enjoyed the experience. Just how it should be! Thank you.

Visit was really interesting

Visit was really interesting. A very spacious site, from what we saw the properties seemed to be built to a good spec. For what you get in a property they are well priced and affordable. A well thought out site. Site manager very pleasant and informative.

AVOID - Small claims court action

We purchased a 4 bed property in the Kings Meadow - Fernwood estate
It was apparent to use that on the property handover, there was a brown tinge to our kitchen/utility hard flooring. This has clearly been caused by them leaving the door open to let dust in, while the hard flooring was drying. So now the dust is embedded into the vinyl
I then raised this with Allison homes a week later. Since then, they have sent 6 different people to fix/look at this over the course of 5 months. (1 was unnanounced)
After all of these, it still isnt resolved.
I then raised a formal complaint, this was acknowledged and they just suggested to send another person round. This would be the 7th person that i would have to have booked time off work for.
Every response they have sent is generically worded that doesnt address the issue, just a fake apology, and with no responsability taken.
You know, one of those robot responses you get from a live chat bot. That is borderline cringeworthy.
I have given them to the last day in September to give this a final solution. If i do no receive this i will unfortunately have to take them to small claims court for the cost of new flooring. As well as the time i have spent dealing with this, including loss of income.
Id recommend thinking twice before purchasing a new home from this company, they are fake when they say that they are customer focussed. Its all about money for them.

I shall be sharing this review on all of Google, Allison homes estate pages

I have given Allison Homes nearly 6 months to resolve this, which is more than fair

Blown away!

Met with Sean, engaging communication, willingness to show where the plot was, good relationship with residents already on site.
Blown away with quality, space and finish.
Had been to see other new builds and disappointed so didn’t actually have high hopes…..oh what a turnaround! Really glad we went.
