They don’t care at all about customer satisfaction. They never bothered to try and make things right when I had an issue with the order online. I had entered the discount code, which had been removed once I checked out. Therefore, I was charged in full. I then reached out to see if they could correct this by sending a partial refund and they refused multiple times. This would’ve been so simple to correct and action had they wanted to. That behaviour was very contradictory to the name of the company “Al Kareem”.

When I received the order, I also had issues with the quality of the product and the scarf that was sent with the Abaya. The scarf was a complete different shade and such cheap quality, definitely not a matching scarf. The stitching on the abaya and the slip underneath were completely off. Still, when I asked if there was anything they could do, they completely ignored the request and sent me the return address.

It is their loss at the end of the day. If they continue this way, they will surely keep losing customers. I wouldn’t recommend at all, their treatment and their products are definitely not worth your money.

Update:

Alkareem London has just responded to my review and I felt I needed to update my review due to the statements they have made. I clearly explained that I did enter and submit the discount at checkout. However, due to a technical error it was removed once I made the payment. The fact that they are able to issue refunds, means that they were indeed able to correct the issue and process a partial refund, had they wanted to. This has nothing to do with being fair or consistent with all orders, as some people may be aware of discount codes, while others may not.

In respect to the scarf being a very different shade and of rubbish quality compared to the abaya, this wasn’t the only issue. Contradictory to their statement, the abaya and the slip underneath do actually have faults and the stitching on both are completely off. I sent them photo evidence proving this, but have noticed in their reply to my review, they’ve acted completely oblivious to it and are in denial.

In my last correspondence, I actually asked if their was anything that can be done BEFORE I request a return as I paid a shipping fee and will now have to cover the return too. Instead of them attempting to come to a satisfactory resolution, they simply wrote out the return address and nothing else. That was extremely rude, unprofessional and just goes to show that if you get into any trouble, they aren’t willing to do anything about it. I’ve now returned for a full refund and will not be purchasing from this company moving forward.

This is my first time ordering. I ordered the Mina abaya for myself and my daughter to match. Absolutely beautiful abayas! The quality is stunning, they really understand the matching outfits for mamas and their girls! really quick delivery too will be a regular for sure! Xx

Firstly I absolutely love my purchase. I bought the Amira abaya and online it looked great but in person it’s even prettier. It arrived but the belt and hijab were missing. I contacted them and shared that I was planning to take this with me to Saudi. I received a reply within minutes and they shipped via 24 hr tracked. Lovely and reassuring customer service. I will be buying from them again !

I have quite a large abaya collection which I am quite proud of. I am very particular with what I have in my collection and steer far away from the typical styles that you see in the market these days. I can proudly say majority of my abayas were carefully curated from Al Kareem as they offer very unique, beautiful, and timeless pieces. For the level of quality and elegance, it is priced very fairly and to be honest I’m surprised it isn’t higher. I met the girls when they did a random sale and they were so lovely. Means so much more for me when I see the people behind these pretty abayas. I’m always excited when I hear of their new launches and can’t wait to get more from them

Al Kareem always exceeds expectations with their abayas. I’m always coming back to see their new collections. So far I have got 4 abayas from them, all of them have been perfect, I have not been disappointed or had to return any. Shipping and delivery is quick too. Whether it’s via pop up stalls or online shopping the service is always on top.
