Great products and great customer service

I’ve bought from Jawda many times and recently had may first issue with product quality (a missing button and messy stitching). After reaching out to their customer service though, I like Jawda even more. They were quick to respond, happy to help, and very professional and kind.

Always Jawda

It doesnt matter where I shop, I always return to jawda for my abayas. They never disappoint. From the material to the fit, everything is always perfect and my number 1 online shop to order from time and time again.

Excellent customer service and lovely styles

Jawda's customer service has been excellent. I requested an exchange (accidentally ordered the wrong size) and it was done so smoothly. Really happy with their willingness to help and support.
I also love their styles, nice formal work wear without compromising on hayaa.

Exceptional customer service

I was looking for a modest clothing brand with affordable pricing and this is the place to shop if you are looking for the same. The quality does will not disappoint and the factor that makes this company worth supporting is definitely the people behind it. The communication I had with the customer service team -namely Abeera went above and beyond sorting my queries and the response time especially from a small business was outstanding. You can tell from the people behind the brand how much care and respect goes into the customer experience and how much thought goes into each piece so will definitely be buying and recommending

This was my first time buying with…

This was my first time buying with Jawda, and I have to say that the customer service was hands down top tier. I always get size 54 abayas, and they tend to always be shorter on me, so this time I decided to size up and get 56. When the two abayas arrived, I hadn’t realized how much significantly longer the abayas were. I reached out to Jawda for an exchange, and they were so accommodating and understanding. I reside in the states, and the back and forth of shipping and the costs was just going to end up being a lot, and they were so considerate about that without me even mentioning. They took the step to offer donating the two items rather than shipping it back, and that they would send me the items in my correct size. I have never seen a brand, let alone a Muslim brand do something like this. Jawda has definitely become my favorite brand to shop from, not only because of this generous gesture, but also the quality was amazing and exactly what I was looking for to wear during this winter Ramadan. Thank you jawda!

Lack of communication and falsely selling items not in stock!!!

I ordered 3 abayas 24days ago, didn’t hear or receive anything until 5days later only to be told one of the items wasn’t in stock, they said we can either refund or give another item, I said I wanted a refund and to send my other items. Again they didn’t issue a refund or communicate with me, despite me chasing for another 7days.

Then another 5days went by and again no items sent and no communication, I emailed and sent messages on Instagram to which I finally got a response saying they were looking into my order, but still I had to chase for responses and kept getting told to email - even though they wouldn’t respond to emails!

I finally get a response on Friday (this is now three weeks after my order) that they will send out items, so I responded asking for the tracking number. They also claim the reason for this is because of Black Friday sales, but I ordered two weeks before Black Friday so it makes no sense!

I then get an email on Monday saying another of the items I brought is out of stock!

As you can see this shows they have been absolutely shocking to deal with, wasted my time chasing them and they are selling items they don’t even have in stock, and giving poor excuses!

FURTHER UPDATE: Finally just got my refund after 4 weeks, and they tried to report me on trust pilot for this review marking it as ‘defamatory’, says it all really. I wish I never ordered from them in the first place, it’s been 4 weeks of back and forth wasting my time, and they tried to offer me a measly 15% discount if I order from them again!

During the period your order was placed, we experienced *exceptionally* high order volumes linked to our Black Friday promotions. While your order was placed before Black Friday itself, the items purchased were part of the promotional period. As a small team, we were dealing with volumes far, far higher than normal, and despite the entire team working extended hours, this did significantly impact our operations in several areas.

That said, we fully acknowledge that this was not the level of service we aim to provide. We take responsibility for the shortcomings in this experience and have since made improvements to both our inventory systems and customer support processes to help ensure this does not happen again. We would also like to reassure you that we would never intentionally sell items that are out of stock.

We would like to clarify that we made multiple attempts to contact you prior to this review in order to resolve the situation and understand how best to support you, though we appreciate that your initial experience felt short. Once the cancellation was confirmed, your refund was processed promptly and successfully.

As a way of apologising and acknowledging the inconvenience caused, we offered a discount, yes, but also multiple complimentary items from our latest collection that were not available in our Black Friday promotion. We completely respect your decision if you felt you did not wish to continue with us.

Regarding the Trustpilot report, evidence was submitted solely to clarify factual points, not to undermine or dismiss your experience, which we take seriously and fully understand.

We are truly sorry that your experience fell short and that this has left such a negative impression. Feedback like yours is taken seriously and helps us improve moving forward.

Exactly what I was looking for

I recently bought the elasticated skirt in black by Jawda and it was the perfect length I have long legs so it can be hard to find skirts. But was super easy with jawda the material is also so nice defo recommend. I work an office job so it’s perfect for work outfits.

Affordable Modestwear

I have ordered from Jawda multiple times and they always delivered my packages on time, communicated with me and fixed my orders, and provided a smooth and pleasant customer experience.
One of the abayas I got had a small undone stitch but that’s the only one that had this issue. Having more neutral and colors on the darker side would be amazing! Looking forward for what’s coming next!
