Recommendation: make members' phone numbers available - regardless of membership level ... you know, like it used to be ....

The people I have encountered have been kind, responsive and usually respond in a timely manner. I offer recommendations to those that have good integrity and are basically good people. A nice group of people who help each other and that is a great community. Sales or not, it's nice to know that others have your back!

It's an interesting site. I participate when I can, but it hasn't been a medium that has benefitted me financially. Perhaps I am not using it correctly.

I was disappointed that now I can only connect with 5 people every month. Its a site where we are supposed to 'CONNECT' with other business owners. seems silly to limit those connections unless you pay. I can use Linkedin instead to connect.

Got a email saying I was referred by a friend to this company. I thought it was my web site provider because I knew they were changing their name so I thought Alignable was it so I signed up…. Within one hour I found out it wasn’t so I cancelled my membership.
Got a confirmation letter ten minutes later stating my membership was cancelled but the company still charged me $276.00 for the entire year and stated they would not renew my membership the following year! I have nothing on their site and think it is unethical for them to charge me for a year’s service for nothing! I even lost my web site domain’s name that I have had for 20 years and had to change it to another name.
I have written them several times asking for my money back without a reply. This company sure does not have any business ethics at all! I will be fighting this because it is not right to charge someone for services not rendered! Beware of this company.

Alignable is what happens when LinkedIn and Amazon Reviews go on a networking retreat, have one too many cocktails, and wind up raising a child who's obsessed with local (okay, anywhere) business matchmaking. And honestly? That offspring is thriving.

It’s like Speed Dating... but for your business. Thanks to Smart Connects, I've met more interesting and useful people in the last month than I did during my entire awkward phase in college networking events. The "Please Introduce Me" feature is basically the digital equivalent of politely nudging your way into a conversation and actually being welcomed. Revolutionary.

This platform is without question the next big thing for business connections. If you’re not on it yet, you’re basically at a party but standing out by the punch bowl talking to yourself.

Get on there and look me up (honestly, connect with me and I'll figure out something good to say about you).

Now... the downside. The notifications. I’m getting more emails from Alignable than from my mom when I forget to call her. And the constant nudging to upgrade? It’s like a friendly salesperson who lives in your browser and gently reminds you 17 times a day that your life would be better with premium.

But hey ... despite the inbox barrage and upgrade whisper campaign, Alignable is fun, effective, and surprisingly human for a networking platform. Highly recommend it... just maybe adjust your email settings before it starts sending you holiday cards.

Alignable makes is easy to connect with like minded people and develop relationships.

The individual went out of their way to resolve my problem; and now all is well on my end.

The website in general is a great place to meet other professionals and share referrals with each other. I like
the one-on-one meetings. Getting to know others is very helpful.

Being on Alignable is cool and I have recommended a lot of people to join and my mentees, being a Business Mentor. I have a few suggestions. First, call a "National Channel for a TV Commercial," it will bring you more people to join on this platform. Second, if you create a section for professionals to request other b2b that need services done remotely. This is another way for Alignable to earn funds.

I was hoping that alignable would be a fresh alternative to the pile of junk mail linkedin became but unfortunately the developers can't over come the AI bots selling private credit and marketing schemes. It is already nothing more that another way to add your info to spam databases. Its a shame. The founders had a noble idea.

UPDATE: I have seen Alignable's response below and I reject it.

I should not have to spend uncountable time unlinking myself from unwanted emails. I should be offered the opportunity to have these emails and the opportunity to reject them before they are sent. I spent what I felt like was a significant amount of time trying to remove all emails from a lineable and was unsuccessful in doing so.

I tried to email them directly with my concerns and was equally unsuccessful with this. There were absolutely no valuable communications through trust pilot that I could not have easily had through other means. Alignable sucks.

I was initially excited about Alignable because LinkedIn very much does not serve the business owner community.

Unfortunately, Alignable immediately began sending me multiple emails per day, all of them absolutely pointless and useless.

They were constantly telling me that there was a new business opening "near" me that were in another freaking country for the love of god...and nowhere near me or the island I live on

I spent so much time going in there to review their suggestions that there was no time left to go into the application and look around for people who actually would matter to me.

It is difficult enough running a small business without an alleged "partner" harassing you to death.

A total and complete waste of time that I regret advising one of my friends to join.

If a zero star rating were available I would have given them that.
