I've held off writing a review as I don't like to be negative, but the whole experience has been awful from start to finish. We initially ordered solar panels and battery about 18 months ago, which were installed after about 3 months of chasing for a start date. Thankfully our loft extension builders were on site as they had to check and draw attention each day to a number of tiles that were damaged. The initial covering on the wiring at street level was shoddy and only replaced at our insistence. The only post installation service was regular emails and calls asking me to spend more money on addition panels and batteries, and an annual inspection for over £100 ( I contacted another supplier to see if they did one cheaper and they laughed, saying they don't offer them as there are no moving parts to check).

Since then the equipment they recommended has failed a number of times, and though under warranty I'm expected to pay north of £100 each time for them to come out or the warranty becomes invalid. I rang them today as the inverter has failed again and was promised a call straight back - 6 hours and waiting was the final straw, hence being driven to write the first negative review I think I've ever written on line.

My suspicion is they prefer large scale installations for councils etc. The individual customer definitely comes last in my experience- I'd recommend going for a smaller sized operation who have a genuine interest in customer satisfaction.

All the staff were efficient, helpful and quick to respond. But I would like to especially mention Callum who visited several times to complete several tasks, not all were straight forward. He came up with good plans that he discussed with me first to make sure I was happy and more importantly listen to me. He also listened to his two apprentices, giving time to discuss and explain things to them. I was very impressed. Having recently seen other ‘trades’ not showing this level of respect to others or me.

AJ Taylor installed Solar PV and a Tesla battery for me previously, so when I moved house there was no doubt in my mind who I'd choose second time round. Their quote was competitive and all of the team were great. From Tom doing the design, to Lee with the site survey. The biggest thanks though must go to the install team of Ethan and Matt who worked tirelessly for 5 days straight, lifting 16 Solar panels in all kinds of weather! They were polite, their work was meticulous and they kept me informed throughout the install. AJ Taylor really work with you to get whats right for you without costing the world. I wouldn't hesitate to use them for any future Solar PV or electrical work.

AJT fitted our new door entry system this week. Aaron arrived to fit the new equipment and completed the job very professionally. We use AJT for a lot of electrical and IT work and they are a great company to work with.

Aston from AJ's installed a new Distribution Board in our property. Arrived as scheduled, kept up great communication throughout, and the work was completed quickly and tidily. Would definitely recommend.

I had all my down lights replaced with the latest safety ones and my very old fuse box replaced. Tom did a great job and was very friendly and easy to communicate with.,,

Aaron and his work team were amazing when they visited the property to fix my electric gate, I found them to be professional, polite, caring and knowledgeable.

Jake at the HQ is also extremely responsive and great with customers, he put me at ease that my gate would be fixed quickly.

I’ve been let down by so many gate security companies, these are a breath of fresh air.

Engineer Reece was here all day and did an excellent job of work on various electricals in Hove

Despite certain difficulties getting the necessary cabling through our house, the two engineers who visited to fit our Powerwall persevered, and completed the job very neatly. Couldn't ask for more.

Very quick service within a few hours of calling the company. The electrician ( sorry I'm no good at remembering names ) was so nice, he had done work for me before. He was quick, efficient and tidy. Thank you.
The only reason I have given 4 stars is that the cost was slightly more than I was expecting.

A prompt and helpful repsonse from their head office followed by excellent service on site. Effective and courteous - highly recommended.

Did a great job on our solar installation (panels, battery and inverter) - friendly & professional staff who worked hard and left everything looking neat and tidy afterwards - you can possibly find cheaper if you shop around but overall they were really good - would recommend them.

From booking to completion of the job was done very professionally.Robert turned up on time ,brought the light fittings with him,wasted no time &finished the job
to our satisfaction.
