Na 4 weken naar Schiphol gegaan (op 20 maart) omdat er geen match kwam van mijn ipad die ik in het vliegtuig op 22 februari had achtergelaten. De mevrouw achter de balie kwam na zoeken met een ipad die de mijn bleek te zijn (inlogcode ingetoets en bingo). Dat er geen match kwam was het gevolg van veranderingen in uiterlijke kenmerken, zoals foto's die in de hoes zaten maar waren verdwenen en ook een verdwenen pencil. Hulde aan de mevrouw die erg haar best heeft gedaan.

They should get zero stars. I immediately realized I left my jacket in the plane. There is no way to report it in person. Why do they have an office to “guide” customers when there is NO guidance but everyone is told to go and make an online report this the internet also says. Reports can only be made online. What if you don’t have online access. Accessibility etc are all ignored. I was told it’s the rule. You can be present in person but cannot make a report in person. 🙄 Once reported online they asked me for a photo of my jacket despite me having described it and confirmed by airline they have picked it up etc. After that now I have followed up three times TOTAL silence. Bad attitudes and processes. Dubai airport is not where I am staying it’s about 50 minutes away. I was told to either wait 3-4 hours for the jacket or return later. Despite them having found it while I was at airport. After a long all night flight this is their attitude and “customer care”. Above all the office is not nearby. You have to lug your luggage up and down to go speak to them and that too ONLY to be told go report this online. According to them there is a process. Which is simply wait for us. We now have control over your item.

I contacted repeatedly the lost and found at Delhi airport, but this is as been an absolute stressful experience. Email remaining unanswered, staff unhelpful all that is possibly negative is there.
Keep your hand luggage with you, tied to your hand, if you’ll lose it forget about finding it back.

Lost phone
Moja córka zagubiła telefon na lotnisku w Miami, po kilku dniach od zgłoszenia telefon został znaleziony. Po około tygodniu od znalezienia telefon dostarczono kurierem do mojego domu w Polsce. Cała operacja poszukiwania i wysyłki kosztowała około 140 USD. Bardzo dobra komunikacja mailowa i telefoniczna.
Terrible customer service
I have made at least 12 requests for a receipt for my charge on ARS336481. 7 via email, 4 via phone voice mail and this is the 3rd time requested via chat. I have also received 2 emails stating the receipt was sent to me. It was not.

Terrible communication canal. Emails are unable to reply with further questions. Phone number nobody pick up for hours and days and if you try to long and much then it will be routed to an answer machine. waisting many many hours and euros for unanswered and mailbox without option to talk on between 23.12.2014-30.12.2024

SCAM - promise concierge service and do nothing
They promised concierge services (human people going to look exactly where the bag was left) to find the bag. They are a national company that does NOTHING except send emails stating they are working on it.
I canceled within 24 hours and they have not issued a credit with now three attempts to get the credit.

I suspect this "service" is a scam
I suspect this "service" is a scam. All responses to my many emails were automated from an agent I'm sure was fictitious. After six months of continuous communication and a promised refund that never materialized, I am certain a search for my lost item was never made, and ALF never intended to refund my fee.
Amazing
I had a wonderful dealing with Nor Afidah Zahari from Lost and Found at Kuala Lumpur Airport. I did not think I would get my Thommy Hilfiger backpack ever again containing highly personal items such as my journal and so on. I got it back with all of the items in the backpack as it was lost. All of the other staff which led me to her were extremely friendly and helpful too. I am so thankful.
SCAM - they do not refund when item not found
AL&F were not able to recover my jacket at Dubai Airport.
As per the policy I was given a refund number and told it would be in my account (I presumed by credit card in which I had paid) in 30 days by their T&C.
It never arrived. I emailed and the Senior Account Manager Mary Wilson in which I had been assigned said she would try again.
It never arrived.
She said she would post a cheque.
It never arrived.
This began in December 2022 and it is now May 2023.
Mary replies all the time to say she will follow up - and she never does. I ask and she says she will follow up.
This has been going on for months.
Cell Phone Scam
I’m convinced that the Frankfurt Germany airport staff purposely steal cell phones. The security agent took it out of my bag and into another bin. They then pulled my carryon bag aside and emptied the whole thing. Didn’t find anything then they make you frantically repack. I was totally distracted & inadvertently left my cell phone in a different bin. I immediately filed a lost & found report when I got to my other gate. I had serial #’s etc. I’ve received no response from them. It’s a scam. I’m convinced they purposely take cell phones.
