Afterglow Heating is a small family run gas heating and plumbing business situated in Hedge End Southampton. We are gas safe registered installers and we undertake all gas work from boiler repairs / breakdowns to servicing and installations, to gas fire and much more. We also deal with the plumbing side from dripping taps to installing showers. We are also a Vaillant Mastertech installer which means we can offer up to 10 year guarantees on new Vaillant boiler installations!

Excellent Service , won’t go anywhere else
Have used Afterglow before and will continue to do so,
Extremely professional, on time, polite , cannot fault their service or the cost of the servicing.
They are my go to for all things boiler related, and would not dream of going elsewhere.

Very satisfied
Steve fitted a new boiler for us. We were very pleased with what he did and how he went about it. He was tidy, arrived on time and explained what he was doing. Highly recommended.

Excellent service
Steve fitted a new boiler for me last week and he provided an excellent service and was highly professional. I have no hesitation in recommending his services and will be using him myself for annual services.

Five star service with a smile
Steve and his team removed our old tank and fitted a new combi boiler in our forever home. The work included relocating the boiler into the loft, installing new pipework and replacing every radiator in the house. Steve estimated that the work would be completed in 5-7 days and he was finished within five. He was very friendly throughout the quoting and installation process and was professional, efficient and time conscious. My husband and I will be sure to use him for our annual services and would recommend him to everyone.

Brilliant service. Steve serviced our boiler and was quite happy to advise us regarding other queries. Friendly, on time and highly recommended.

Boiler Emergency
Boiler decided to die on one of the coldest days, I have used the services of Afterglow before so did not hesitate to give them a call, their service is second to none, totally professional, keep you informed throughout the whole process , do not blind you with science regarding the fault. Upfront with their charges , which I might add are very reasonable, everything left clean and tidy, and the best bit of all they fixed the boiler and I no longer have to sit in a cold house that was 11.5 deg 🥶, all now warm and toasty 🔥

Highly recommend Afterglow
We have been using Steve for a couple of years now and he has always been highly professional and provide a excellent standard of work. When our boiler failed Steve managed fit a new one the same week to get us hot water and heating as soon as possible. We now use Steve yearly to keep the maintenance of our boiler up together , would highly recommend.
